From my initial appointment with Mr Hoo, I felt all my questions were answered and felt at ease, from the onset I knew I would choose Mr Hoo as my surgeon. I had done a lot of research for my procedure and felt reassured from my initial appointment. Pauline (Mr Hoo’s nurse) was also very informative and patient regarding any questions which I had. My surgery was booked and due to unforeseen circumstances had to rescheduled, Brenda in appointments was very helpful and offered me a cancellation slot which I was very thankful for. On the day of surgery, I was admitted into the admission pod and here all staff were attentive, I met with the anaesthetist and Mr Hoo and thereafter went to theatre. The theatre nurse and anaesthetist were so lovely, talked me through everything and I felt reassured. Thereafter, in the recovery ward, the nurse was excellent when asked about pain, I was immediately given pain meds which eased the pain and brought upstairs to a room which the excellent care continued. Mr Hoo came to see me and answer any further questions, truly 5* service from the onset. The hospital was spotless and attention to detail by all staff was exceptional.

I was really nervous and anxious at the beginning but, from my first appointment with Dr. Metin, I felt in reliable hands. Before my 1st appointment with Dr. De Bono, I spent many months unable to get a diagnosis for my heart arythmia. I was very symptomatic and really anxious. Dr. De Bono finally diagnosed me and started me on a treatment plan. He took the time to explain everything to me and asnwered all my questions. He was very thorough and professional. I felt so much better after that appointment. As time went by, the treatment plan needed adapting and once again Dr. De Bono took the time to explain my options, one of which was an ablation. Again, I was very anxious but he took the time to explain all the pros and cons and risk factors. Fast forward, I had the ablation and the care I received was wonderful. I have recovered and now feel I have my life back.

I am transformed! I came to see Mrs Langton Hewer because I had suddenly gone completely deaf in one ear. She listened to me when I explained my anxieties and then examined my ears. She diagnosed otis externa which was causing pain and there was water behind the wax causing deafness. She then very carefully removed wax and debris from my ear and my hearing was immediately restored. I am so grateful that this was diagnosed so expertly and then sorted out immediately. I would strongly recommend her for ear problems and for removal of ear wax. Thank you.
