From the first appointment with Mr Dabasia, I felt extremely reassured. He clearly explained what was happening with my spine, how this was creating the symptoms I was experiencing and what my options for treatment were. He ensured that I was aware of both the risks of not having and having the surgery (bilateral decompression surgery at two points in my spine). Mr Dabasia also arranged excellent aftercare including physiotherapy and a follow-up appointment 8 weeks post-surgery. The operation was a complete success and Mr Dabasia checked on my recovery and how the wound was healing at the 8 week check. He was again very professional, ensuring that I was recovering well and knew how to contact him if I did have any concerns.

Mr Olumide Ofinran

Had an appointment with Mr Ofinran after a routine test found irregularities that needed to be checked. Mr Ofinran was great at explaining my initial results in more detail which gave me a better understanding and clarity that things weren’t as bad as I’d interpreted. I had a follow on procedure where Mr Ofinran took biopsies. He was considerate, explained the process whilst he was doing it, and gave me some great follow up advice about what to expect. My results consultation followed form - Mr Ofinran took his time to explain the results of the biopsy and made sure if I had any questions these were answered. I would recommend Mr Ofinran.

I always find the receptionists at The Holly difficult to deal with. The booking in experience is poor as one often has to wait for ages whilst the receptionists are on the phone or chatting or apparently doing something on their computers. It is a pity as the doctors and nurses and other staff including the porters at The Holly are extremely good. The receptionists in both the outpatients area and the scan receptionists need better training and better management. I would say however that the GP area receptionists and the front desk receptionists are very nice and very helpful so I have no issues with them.

Mr Williams is an absolute Gentleman and has carried out a few procedures for me over the past 5 years. He certainly knows his stuff and ive recommend him to a few people too with foot issues.

I had eye sight check, 14/1/2026 a cataract was found, referral to Clarity made.Same day call from Clarity appointment made for 26/1/2926. Appointment for surgery made for 05/02/2026. Attended and I wish to bring to your notice that I was firstly dealt with by Leon who was excellent. The operation went very smoothly. Sight the next morning was very slightly blurred. I was impressed at the service supplied by Clarity from beginning to end has been excellent and I would highly recommend Clarity.

I had a two night inpatient stay recently after having fairly major surgery at The Woodthorpe Hospital. The individual and quality care I received from my Surgeon, Anaesthetist and Nursing staff made my experience a very positive one. The room was well equipped and the food was good, with every need catered for. Special thanks for making allowances and letting me stay until late in my room on day of discharge. I would definitely recommend this hospital for an overall positive experience.

I visited the clinic to discuss removal of a lesion on my eyelid. Having spoken to the consultant Mt Murray I decided to have it removed. I returned two weeks later to have the surgery. All the staff were very supportive and took time to explain the whole procedure to me. In particular Jenny took great care of me and made sure I felt as relaxed as I could be. I had trouble releasing urine, as well as blood being present in the urine. Blood would still come out after urination. A stricture in my urethra was the reason for my discomfort. Mr Varun Sahdev was able to determine that and propose various procedure options. After the operation, all my discomfort gradually disappeared, with a very significant change right after the operation.
