I’ve been seeing James since summer last year for various lower body ailments, namely (i) left knee ACL revision surgery in Sept 2025 and (ii) right hip / labral tear issues. I was recommended Mayfair Health by Tim Spalding after seeing some not so great physios and struggling to progress with my knee - many thanks to whoever I spoke to from the front desk who organised my appointment James. James has been really fantastic with my prehab and post surgery rehab and without him I’d probably still be hobbling around. He is super supportive, encouraging, knowledgeable and patient, all things one looks for in a good physio (I’ve recommended him and the team to many of my friends!) I was very anxious about needing to re-do my ACL for the second time but with James’ support I have been able to change my mindset and see the positives in the situation - sessions are always a laugh (because you can only laugh or cry in such situations), even when I needed to learn how to walk again. Thanks James and team, looking forward to progressing with my rehab and one day doing a Hyrox!

The wait time was a little longer than expected. But seeing how a patient had a cardiac arrest in the eye clinic ,it is hardly surprising. On top of which I had a diabetic hypo. Your staff were simply amazing. Above and beyond professional , caring, attentive. Exceptional care. I have worked in healthcare care for over 32 years. I've seen good and bad hospitals The staff at the Spencer eye unit were just wonderfully caring. and helpful. This was private health care for NHS patients. The whole clinic area was so clean. It even smelt fresh and looked so bright. All the staff were so immaculately presented in perfect uniform. This is how a private hospital should look. And as an NHS patient I felt I was getting private health care. Thank you. A credit to the NHS and private health services.

I visited John Flynn Opticians in Beeston today. I am a very anxious person and couldn’t of asked for a kinder or more helpful receptionist. She really did go above and beyond to help me. Dr Janjua took time to chat with me and make me feel at ease before starting the consultation and then after explained his findings to me in a way I could understand and referred me to the relevant people to continue my care. I'm a 58 year old man who tore a tendon in my shoulder rotator cuff, complicated by a frozen Shoulder. Mr Ray performed an Arthroscopic repair with a capsule release. My repair went great, unfortunately due to being mobile while I recovered from surgery, my shoulder froze again. Mr Ray performed two more procedures and my shoulder is in great shape, I work as a self employed builder and was convinced I would not be able to continue, but thanks to Mr Ray , I'm back at work. Brilliant! Quick seen at once on arrival, super efficient as meds were ready before I was to go home, kind and helpful nurses, anaesthetist, and surgeon. Plenty of tea and biscuits afterwards. Extra info about other procedures carried out in the same unit, so I know where to get my cataracts sorted out in the future!!! I appreciated being told to be sensible about how much I could do and when, and how much painkiller I needed, but aware that this might not be appropriate for everybody. Thank you.

Although the area was very busy there was ample parking within a very short walk.
