This was a positive experience. Srijune was so very kind and helpful in my pre- treatment discussion, administration of anti biotic medication and questionnaire. She offered to hold my hand during the injection, made sure I was okay, ensured I had some tea and biscuits whilst waiting before I could leave and came to let me know that it was safe for me to leave. She also answered my call when I got home as I’d felt a cramp-like pain in my calf . Thanks Srijano Mr Jones was kind, genial, professional and as gentle as he could be with the procedure. He chatted to me during the procedure , telling me about the scan that was showing the fluid on/ around my knee and was happy to answer my question about what the fluid was that he was removing etc. He told me that I’d get a call from him in a few months time to check how I’m getting on rather than a face to face follow up. I was given assorted leaflets with exercises, ICRS registry , free online rehab programme and physiotherapists Charlie and Nick at the Better team . I was thrilled when I went to walk out of the hospital, to find that I was able to walk normally without any limping. Yes the anaesthetic was probably helping but it made me feel positive about the treatment . I expect it’ll be a little tender once that has worn off but fingers crossed all will be well .

Walking into Spire hospital at Manchester, I was greeted by really good reception staff who listened to what I said and then made it happen. It felt very well organised. Into the wards/clinics for treatment, I was again greeted by friendly, confident staff who quickly put me at ease and explained what was to be carried out. All of my tests/treatments were carried out very professionally, on time and with care and respect. I felt comletly at ease throughtout. 5 Stars in every respexct for the clinical staff and Spire Manchester. Bad Experiencies. Dealing with the Spire Online/ Phone back office and Booking System. It was diabolical in all aspects. It appeared to be very dis-jointed and not able to pass information on internally nor take notice of what I told them. I received meaningless paperwork that bore little resemblance to what was to be done and its timeline. The night before treatment, around 8 p.m., I even received an email that told me all my procedures/ tests were to be carried out in Liverpool, not Manchester. Very poor level communications from Spire admin. very bad experience for me.

Mr Finnigan was very gently spoken, and he helped me feel calm and safe. He sppke about what would happen in my operation and spoke me through it all. At all times he asked if I had any questions, and I felt happy and comfortable to ask whatever I needed. Or asked for more information also. He was very kind and answered everything so I could understand. I felt very safe to have Mr Finnigan as my consultant, and I am extremely happy with my surgery which went very well. In my appointment following my operation, i was happy to show him I had full movement of my knee joint and it was repairing well. I would definitely tell any of my family of friends to use Mr Finnigan, and the Spire Manchester Hospital. I also would like to shout out and thank every member of staff, from the porters to administrators, to nurses and all the way up to the Consultants, for the way they looked after me. So “THANK YOU!” 😄👍

Asked to be 15 mins early for scan, but then not called until 30 mins or so after time of appointment without any prior indication of running late (perhaps because it was at 6pm ). Head scanner was still busy so junior radiologer kindly chatted to me for 15 mins after I'd changed to kill time. Having been told it would take 15 mins, scan took about 45 mins and team forgot to talk to me or put music on despite me saying I was a bit claustrophic (but can get by ok). Then at 8pm, no doubt in rush to scan next person, they didn't remove cannula so i wandered around to find another staff member to do that who happily obliged. Not a major problem but not up to Cleveland usual standards. Staff were all very friendly though, but perhaps clinic shouldn't book in patients at end of day if they can't really handle them properly.

The set-up was scruffy/down at heel. The reception staff appeared weary, little interaction and certainly no putting anyone at ease. The approach to the outside of the building is unwelcoming and unclear. Far too many stairs with no assistance offered or given. No courteous instructions, no graciousness. The waiting room was full of materials to be used in decorating/ construction …. Maybe they thought the over large, badly adhered to the wall TV playing the same continuous “Winter” loop made up for feeling very much an inconvenience. One of the most annoying things is when you explain you’re deaf they say and they did “Oh we’ll speak loudly.” Empathy dictates clarity and pace NOT volume ( training needed in several areas ) seats in waiting area uncomfortable - nowhere to place/rest anything.

After many months of difficulties prompted by the sudden loss of my husband, I can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. Communication with Kernow Psychiatry has been very responsive and I booked an initial appointment to discuss my mental health difficulties. Dr Reid welcomed me into a comfortable room at the wellness hub, she immediately put me at ease and took care make sure I was settled and ready to start. After the hour, Dr Reid summarised what she saw as the key priorities to getting me back on an even keel, suggesting a clear approach to addressing my intersecting issues. I am looking forward to my follow up appointment and the start of my recovery treatment plan. I only wish I’d followed my instincts sooner and booked in months ago.

His approach was very patient centred, at my initial consultation he listened attentively to my concerns and symptoms. Mr Paniker assessed me and explained thoroughly the diagnosis and the treatment options I had. I appreciated the fact Mr Paniker took a keen interest and consideration regarding other health issues I had and the implications they had on my current situation. He was very helpful and polite throughout all contact with him. Thankfully he has helped me to resume full range of movement which has significantly improved my quality of life. I have had reason to see Dr Steadman over the last year firstly to deal with some heart issues which were diagnosed and resolved extremely quickly and latterly a number of tests which have proven to be reassuringly negative in their outcome. From dealing with Hannah to arrange things to being clinically looked after by Dr Steadman I have always felt I have been dealing with caring, efficient and positive people who excel at what they do. I would also say that has been my experience of those members of the medical team I have met at both Bournemouth and Poole Hospital.

Mr Saravelos and his team made us feel at such ease for our Frozen Embryo Transfer. He was so patient and helped talk through the procedure in a way I could understand. He kept me calm through the procedure, which previously have been a really painful experience for him. The Nurse Raj was also great and helpful and managed to get all our prescriptions done before the transfer so we didn’t have to wait around. Really great time and brilliant experience.

What an amazing doctor. Dr Deb is very thorough and caring, and has helpful, professional and responsive support staff too. I had an endoscopy and colonoscopy. I was so nervous but he made me feel very relaxed and in safe hands. The process was very smooth, dignified and I felt extremely well cared for. The most helpful doctor I've seen - it's a sad indictment of the rest of the NHS that seeing a doctor who didn't try to gaslight me into going away made me so emotional. Mr Siddiqi is weird but wonderful - don't expect formal and stilted conversation - be prepared for seemingly random questions and swift changes of subject. But also be prepared to be listened to and understood
