The team at One Stop Healthcare in Hemel Hempstead were very friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived. I had a clean, tidy private room, which made the experience much more comfortable. The two ladies who handled my general anaesthetic were excellent and really helped put me at ease as I was quite nervous. Post surgery, the physio who showed me how to use my crutches and explained my recovery was lovely. My only criticism was the inconsistency around my sick note - my surgeon signed me off for 6 weeks, but a nurse was unhelpful and stated they only do 4 weeks and that I would need to see my GP to extend it! This felt unnecessary given this was my agreed recovery time. My surgeon did step in to resolve this. I did appreciate the follow up call a week after surgery to check how I was doing, which was a nice touch overall.

It was lovely to see Nadine at my recent visit. She was kind and friendly but also very skilled and knowledgable. She explained everything clearly during my examination and afterwards when she reviewed my x-rays. I have been a patient of Dr Nadine Skipp for sixteen years, and during that time she has treated me for everything from cosmetic work and tooth whitening to routine maintenance and emergency repairs. She has rescued me on several occasions and consistently kept my smile healthy and looking great. I used to feel anxious about dental appointments, but that completely changed when I met Nadine. Dr Andrew Gaya

I attended a follow up consultation with Dr Gaya yesterday during which he gave me my recent MRI and PET/CT scan results. As always, Dr Gaya spent time explaining his findings and action to be taken going forward. We also discussed my current state of health, my planned treatment by the Rheumatology Team and the impact the most recent Rituximab infusion is having. Dr Gaya is always very pleasant, asks relevant questions and is very clear about next steps in the short term whilst having plans for the longer term. I look forward to his encouraging consultations every two weeks. Dr Gaya’s calm, measured, patient manner reflects his professionalism and care towards his patients. He keeps me sane, especially in times of anxiousness !

Could not fault the experience, secretary was wonderful and found me a last minute appointment within a couple of days when I stated I required an assessment urgently. Dr Bruce- Jones was very professional and listened carefully to all of my concerns, and I felt at ease explaining all of my worries. I required the assessment for a compensation claim for the Army and the clinical letter and over view he provided was very well detailed and was exactly what I required. He gave some structured treatment on how to manage my anxiety which I have listened to and am now in discussions with OpCourage and GP for extra support. Would reccomend his services.

The staff seemed very friendly and efficient in what seemed to be quite a busy little private out patient's department. I had to have quite a few test's and checks but didn't have to wait long in-between different department's. When I got to see the consultant he was very professional and explained to me exactly what my condition was, how it was affecting my vision . He then explained how he proposed to try to correct the problem, the likely time scale for the procedure, and the cost. I also felt that he was very clear to manage my expectations when the procedure does go ahead.

I would highly recommend Mr Larholt for surgery. He is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain all of my options and the procedure clearly, which made me feel confident and reassured throughout the process. The surgery on my foot itself was excellent, the incisions were very neat, the stitching was precise, and scarring has been minimal. I am very pleased with the results and the overall standard of care. I will absolutely be using Mr Larholt again in the future when I need further surgery on my other foot.

Not a paticularly pleasant experience. Was attentive and caring before procedure, after procedure just wanted me up and out, even though I was in a NES non epileptic Seizure. I Signed the water against doing a pregnancy test, as I am non-binary and Asexual and never had sex in my life....but was harassed, called a lier by the aeneathiatist who was demanding i took one. After refusing was treated with distain by her afterwards. I am putting in official complaint as this treatment is illegal and unlawful

Dr. Singh took the time to ask detailed questions about my medical history, arranged thorough investigations, and explained everything very clearly. I was also informed in detail about the prognosis and the plan for future follow-ups. I felt well cared for and reassured throughout the process.

Transfered to Clarytin after disappointing time with NHS awaiting time for appointment for cataract removal. Very pleased with Clarity who saw me very shortly after referral and operated on a week later. I was going to wait for the next operation on the NHS on the 4th February but when that was moved to sometime in April, I took the next available appt on January 20th for a private operation. Both private experiences have been a pleasure and very good.

I was grateful to have met Mr Magan who carried out complex surgery to allow me to regain my mobility and return to my activities. Since the injury at age 29, I had restricted movement and could not properly bend and tie my shoes. After the procedure, I am now back to exercising, gym and do my normal activities! Dr. Nijjer and his team were fantastic - thorough, warm and responsive. I felt that I was in the most capable hands possible, and also that I was seen as a unique individual with a unique history. I had some concerns and the pace at which I was seen/care given and diagnostics conducted was expedient and empathetic to my worries.

This was the first time I had been treated in hospital for 50 years so I was understandably anxious about having a hip replacement operation but everybody was so kind and helpful with endless patience and professionalism nothing was to much trouble and I would recomend to anyone this hospital and all the staff are excellent.
