I had my suspicions as to what was happening to me. However, going down the general NHS GP route was not getting me anywhere. They kept treating each symptom individually rather than looking at me as a whole. A few years of going backwards and forwards. Stress! With Dr Nikki, within the 30 minute consultation I felt heard, all symptoms were put together and a treatment plan was formed. It all made sense and everything was explained. Medication prescribed and ordered, report received and a report sent to my own GP, all within a few hours. Future follow up already booked. That is what you call professionalism, efficiency and having very knowledgeable doctors who understand the female body. Wish I had booked them sooner. I would highly recommend them.

I was in hospital for months as a patient of Dr Coonar and I felt like I was receiving the best possible standard of care at all times. Dr Coonar not only looks after the surgery, but also acts like an advocate on behalf of you as a patient, checking your condition every day, asking for your concerns and giving optimism and encouragement. The staff in the hospital stand out for their professionalism, attentiveness and friendliness, whether cleaners, catering staff, porters, radiologists, healthcare assistants, nurses, phlebotomists, physiotherapists or doctors. You have a sense they are all working together as a team for your recovery.

My surgeon Mr Thomas was amazing from start to finish and I got offered an early date for surgery on first date of the appointment which I was not expecting. He also met me the morning of the surgery which was reassuring. Throughout I was given an opportunity to ask questions. Being informed of the size difference of the DCIS and grading was also informative. The icing was being told he got everything out and I wouldn’t need further surgery 🙌🏾. The check up today went really well and I was given reassurance and advice toward looking after my eyes by the thourough Cathedral Eye knowledgeable and experienced staff. The different tests and mannerly handovers following scans etc. from start to finish of appointment are seamless. And the appointment starts so well being welcomed in at the front desk, through too being checked out so that nothing is forgotten from eye drops to appointment times leaving nothing to chance.

He was always available to address any concerns and questions I had during my pregnancy and treated me with compassion and respect. I had bilateral lens replacements last Thursday (27/11/2025) and the team could not have been more careful if they tried. The surgeon, Mr Puri, was excellent. My eyes are recovering really well with no problems., this was confirmed by my first post-op check-up today - a bit earlier than usual because of planned plane flights. Assess,et and post-op Sheffield, surgery in Newark. Staff in both locations are wonderful.

The reception staff are always polite and welcome patients with a smile. Very engaging. The clinic offers a clean and safe environment for consultations. Perhaps unfair to judge them on one day I visited when they were changing their systems. People are fairly friendly but place doesn't seem efficiently run. Also their secure email system (Egress) is terrible and makes it difficult to track correspondence.
