I was fortunate and privileged to be introduced to Ian Jenkins in Jan 2021 after a referral from colleagues at St Marks Hospital, North London. Having been diagnosed with rectal cancer in 2020 and undergone pre surgery radiotherapy and chemotherapy through the NHS, due to COVID backlogs with NHS procedures, we decided to go privately for future treatment and surgery - one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. Through Ian's skill and professionalism over the last 5 yrs of many surgical and personal consultations and referrals, I am still cancer free and living a relatively normal life with my family in retirement - something I feared, in the early days post diagnosis, I was unlikely to have. Ian has not only, literally, saved my life but also given me a quality of life that I could never of dreamed of after my devastating cancer news back in 2020. I will always be eternally grateful to Ian and his team for his brilliance then and now as he continues to support me and my family with regard to my future health.

I recently completed a course of CBT sessions with Dr Sharon Pettit, focusing on managing my anxiety, worry, and rumination. When I first began, I struggled significantly with social interactions, often feeling socially awkward and fixating on past conversations. My mind would race with worries about things entirely beyond my control, pushing my anxiety levels to an all-time high. It felt like I was in a constant state of fight or flight, from the moment I woke up until I went to bed, leaving me completely drained. Now, almost six months later, I've gained valuable tools to help manage my thoughts and emotions. While I wouldn’t say I’m completely cured, I feel about 75% better and am now enjoying a much happier life. I've decided to take a break from CBT for the time being, but I'm committed to returning if I notice my anxiety levels rising again.

From the initial face to face consultation through the conversation immediately prior to the operation then a reassuring word in recovery and finally a telephone consultation with the (positive) results of the pathology and oncology at 6 weeks post surgery I cannot fault Mr Abou-Chedid's care. His skill cannot be questioned and the excellent post-operative recovery is testament to this. I am sure that his technique of radial prostatectomy coupled with supra-pubic catheter greatly contributed to my recovery. It goes without saying that, given a choice, I would not have opted to have prostate cancer in the first place but for anyone in the unfortunate position of having a diagnosis of cancer I would not hesitate in recommending Mr Abou-Chedid.

The treatment I received at the Matrix Eye Clinic was excellent from both Mr Guy Smith and his first class team. The results from the cataract operation in both eyes is sensational. My eyesight is significantly improved, the length, the accuracy and the intensity of the colour are all enhanced. I am absolutely delighted. Before I had the operation I was considering exchanging our television for a new model because I was having difficulty in reading small print and the scene was blurred. Now I can enjoy watching. Amazing! I have no hesitation in recommending Matrix Eye Clinic.

I chose galaxy lenses for my cataract surgery and am now very happy with the results. No need whatsoever for any glasses. The staff were all very kind and supportive, along with Mr Hove the surgeon who was quick and efficient with the procedure. Mr Saravelos and his team made us feel at such ease for our Frozen Embryo Transfer. He was so patient and helped talk through the procedure in a way I could understand. He kept me calm through the procedure, which previously have been a really painful experience for him. The Nurse Raj was also great and helpful and managed to get all our prescriptions done before the transfer so we didn’t have to wait around. Really great time and brilliant experience.

Consultation with Dr Alice Thomas. Parking was easy Welcomed by lovely receptionist who immediately offered me a tea Met Dr Alice who immediately felt 'and relax'! Instant reassuring and lovely energy. Thoroughly talked through blood results. No rushing. We had time and I felt more me walking out of the practice than I had for weeks for speaking to someone who listened and clearly understands what we all go through with our hormones.

Everything was good but the house keeper was rude . when i came to the building i don’t know which button to press and there was board (if you have any issue you can contact house keeper . I press that button and i told him i have medical appointment he was like do you appointment with me ,he was so rude . He could simply say that press number 15 thats it . But my experience with doctors and other staff was excellent.

Afterward, I inquired if I could still attend in person, and he graciously permitted me to do so. Recent visit addressed salivary gland stones, which have since resolved and passed on their own with advice from Mr Agrawal. Dr Agrawal was fantastic - knowledge, kind and reassuring.
