Newmedica Leeds. 5* Care from start to finish. My optician at Specsavers suggested it was time to consider cataract surgery and I was offered an NHS referral to my choice of providers. I chose Newmedica Leeds and just over 2-3 weeks later had an initial consultation at Newmedica. Unfortunately my high blood pressure caused some problems and delayed the first cataract operation to my left eye, after 4-5 weeks weeks I had surgery on my first eye and 5-6 weeks later my second eye was done. Without exception all of the staff I met at Newmedica were friendly, helpful, and very caring. The consultant who carried out the procedure on both eyes (Mr. Kamran Khan) took the time to explain the procedure and answer my questions. During the procedures he was reassuring and calmly explained what was happening. Both procedures were carried out successfully and my sight is so much better now. I would like to give a big thank you to Mr Kamran Khan and his team and my Optometrist Summer Elyoussfi and her team for all the care and attention I received. I have no hesitation in recommending Newmedica Leeds.

Mum was almost blind wearing really thick glasses, and couldn't see at all without them. She had a few complications with her eyes but Dr Stewart and team endeavoured to give her as much sight back as possible, even if just slight. After her cataracts surgery on the 'good' eye, she is like a new woman. At nearly 78yrs old, mum doesn't need to wear her glasses for the first time since she was young. She can see clearer and further away. Close up is still difficult but we trust that after both eyes are done, and potentially glasses again with alot less prescription, she will be able to see so much better. She's had no pain or anything. The drs were brilliant and we can't thank them enough. This is the best thing to have happened to mum who was petrified to get her eyes done. She says he is the best Dr I have ever seen and I'm so happy.

My appointment commenced on time, with no waiting. Mr Cumberbatch introduced himself, and I found him to be very personable , professional and friendly in his approach. This, at an apprehensive moment, was extremely helpful and comforting. During his inspection and assessment, he was very professional and thoughtful, putting me at my ease. Despite the reason for all this, we both managed to pass through the appointment with an amount of humour, which indicated that we were both relaxed through the verbal assessment and ultimate advice upon moving forward. To me, a brilliant experience, despite the reason for the appointment. In Mr Cumberbatch's hands, no one need fear of lack of care and total competence. It was a delight to meet him, and I have total confidence in him.

The surgeon I chose to do my breast augmentation surgery on December 8th 2025 was friendly and professional in consultation. He was honest about my expectations and explained everything start to finish on how to get the results I want considering I was asymetrical and had no breast tissue. Surgery wasnt bad at all and I am more than happy with the results (7 weeks post op) I had no infection, no side effects of the surgery, everything went perfectly and I healed quickly. I had Uterine Fibroid embolisation carried out by Dr Crowe in July 2025. The procedure was straightforward and very effective. I wish I had it done sooner, my quality of life has significantly improved since the procedure. I no longer suffer with heavy periods and cramping and am able to participate in gym activities and running something which I had put off due to the heavy bleeding, pain and low iron levels . I would highly recommend Dr Crowe and his team , they did an amazing job. I cannot thank them enough for giving me a new lease of life!
