This was my first colonoscopy procedure so I didn’t know what to expect and was quite anxious. Looking at the patient reviews on this site beforehand really helped me so I wanted to add my own comments here as well. The 2 day preparation for my late afternoon procedure (fasting and drinking the cleansing medication) was actually the worst part, however I followed the instructions and kept myself very hydrated throughout, that along with a couple of boiled sweets in the last couple of hours to stop the hunger pangs really helped. The clinic staff were all really friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived and talked me through the process throughout so I knew what to expect. I had sedation for the procedure itself which was completely painless, and I got the results quickly. At all times my wellbeing was prioritised by the staff, with 1 to 1 nursing and a very welcome drink and biscuit afterwards. Special thanks from me to Roberta and Dr Khan, and my aftercare nurse whose name I forgot (sorry!)

Throughout this process, Mr Higgin has given me complete confidence towards a positive outcome. It has been eight weeks since I had my left hip replaced by Mr Higgin and his team, and I cannot believe the improvement in my strength, overall posture, and flexibility of movement down my left side. The lift to my self-esteem and wellbeing has also been incredible. I now see light where as before I was clouded by the pain and discomfort. I only have thanks and gratitude for what Mr Higgin has given me. I now have so much positivity when visualising the feeling I will experience once I have my right hip replaced as my livelihood as a gardener depended on the outcome I have described above and was also explained to me by Mr Higgin when we met in September...I cannot thank him enough for making this a reality.

She is incredibly gentle and patient, and if you have any dental anxiety, she makes it completely disappear. She is also my 6-year-old son’s dentist, and she is the only one who has ever managed to get him comfortably into the dental chair with his mouth open. She is absolutely wonderful with children. Una is highly educated, very experienced, and trained to the latest standards. I was incredibly impressed to receive Robert Grounds full letter just a few hours later via. the portal with a detailed summary of his findings explained in very clear terms which was remarkable. Professor Biswas has been absolutely wonderful Kind in his manner Very clear in his explanations Not pushing surgery, just patiently going through pros & cons & advising us in our situation But when we did decide to have surgery he has done a fantastic job. I had a breast reduction and uplift with Parkash Lohana in December 2025 and I am delighted with the results. All the staff here are so kind and friendly. Special shout out to Roslyn for how well she looked after me (and my very anxious mum!) on the day, Bernadette, Lisa, but everyone has been amazing. I'm still healing and had to come in for a same day appointment to have something checked and Belinda totally put me at ease and gave me really clear information. Honestly couldn't fault a single element of my experience!

We paid £240 to the consultant and gained no extra knowledge or benefit. She basically couldn’t help because she said I needed fertility and not recurrent miscarriage. She said there was a fertility consultant there I should have booked with. Then why not offer to not charge me and book me with right person? Isn’t that what healthcare should be about rather than about taking my money? There is no triage service in place to make sure I got the right appointment. I feel robbed at a time where I am vulnerable.

I had an ovarian cyst and ovary removed via keyhole surgery by Dr Mackintosh and can highly recommend her. She listened, we agreed the treatment plan together and I felt involved in all decisions throughout. She explained everything very well. The operation went well and she did an excellent job ensuring minimal trapped air afterwards and the scars have healed really nicely. Would not hesitate to visit her again - but obviously hope I don’t have to!

After the operation my eye took a few weeks to settle. That meant I got to experience rather more post-op care than might be usual. Not only was the level of care excellent, but I got to see all the same staff most visits. An efficient and friendly team. Special praise due to the optometrist whose explanations where clear and precise and the responses to my questions well considered. This set my mind at rest.

Dr Bakshi - THANK YOU!!! I read the other reviews and wondered if the clinic's reputation was too good to be true. I have been on NHS waiting lists for years and they have misdiagnosed me and fobbed me off with cheap options. Dr Bakshi said he immediately knew the problem and showed me a video, leaflets and even research papers explaining my problem. Thank you very much - 6 stars if possible!

Staff at the practice seem to be unable to distinguish between NHS patients a d those who Are private and paying. Twice i was sent to the wrong waiting area with NHS patients. Only to be later sent to the private waiting area. As a paying patient i expect a certain level of compitance and care. So come on Barlborough, a little bit of interest in your role might help

Joshua started by reviewing how I was and I showed him the exercises he'd taught me. Then he asked my opinion on what I felt was important to target next and helped with exercises for that. He also made a video on my phone of an exercise, talking me through it, so I could remember it. Unfortunately I don't live locally so can't access his expertise on a regular basis.
