I am 89 and was a little worried about the surgery itself and the outcome, but there was no need for any such worries. I was highly impressed with every stage of the procedure form the initial interview with Mr. Shetty through to the surgery and the various aspects aftercare. Everything was explained to me in advance, all of the staff were kind and considerate, the pain was noticably less than I expected and, yes, I did the exercises as advised, but I was very pleasntly surprised by how quickly the knee recovered and I was able to use it again. The only problem I experienced was a recurrrence of swelling in my feet and ankles, now much reduced, and which, I understand will disappear completely in time. In short, I am delighted that I accepted the offer of the surgery and that I am free of knee pain that had existed for a long time.

After suffering from reflux, pain when trying to eat food, constant indigestion after every meal.I am pleased to be udergoing investigative procedures to give me a better quality of life. In my case I have been taking a ppi medication incorrectly, and have never had a review in over 12 years, I did not realise the medication should not be taken with other medications or that you should not take it with food or drink. Currently after initially being diagnosed with Barrets ,I now take my ppi an hour either side of eating/ drinking and have changed to a strct Barrets /Gerd sufferer diet and have found 90 per cent of my symptoms have dissappeared. Looking forward to my next investigative procedure. Many thanks to the consultant and his team.

Mr Lau had agreed to perform a robotic navigational Bronchoscopy and biopsy after the lung team in Cardiff explained that they had neither the equipment nor the expertise. and the needle biopsy was not appropriate in my case. Mr Lau called me in Cardiff and his explanations of the procedure were reassuring and also amusing as he made an analogy with Google Map! I felt confident in his expertise ; after all he has done 600 such procedures before mine. So I went to the Cleveland hospital in London. Once there I went to the operating theatre without anxiety, just happy to at last have this procedure. Mr Lau has the talent to reassure patients.

St joseph's Hospital Staff were all outstanding, the staff are amazing and simply cannot do enough to help. They are very patient, understanding, supportive and reassuring. I was unfortunate to have complications 2 days post-discharge. After a telephone conversation, I was told to return to the hospital. My care was higher than 5 stars on returning to the hospital. The hospital is of the highest standard, spotlessly clean. I could not rate my whole experience more highly! A massive thank you to the Ward Dr, also Ruth, Nicola, and Leslie who looked after myself and my wife when I needed to return to the day ward.

Antonia explained in simple and straightforward detail the process of either a root canal or extraction depending on what she would advise after she carried out a fresh, post antibiotics course. In the event the tooth was badly cracked down the root so was not suitable for root canal treatment. Each step of the extraction process was explained. The procedure was completed. Antonia was the epitomy of pleasant professionalism. If it is not already the case, I would like to be assigned to Antonia as my dentist!

The Fitzrovia Suite was incredible from the moment I arrived in labor to our discharge. The midwifery team was wonderful - each and every one of them being kind, caring, calm, and reassuring. Every decision of my care was made collectively, and they helped the beginning stages of my recovery immensely. The space itself was clean, quiet and peaceful - an absolute pleasure to experience post-emergency cesarean. I would highly recommend the Fitzrovia Suite to others.

I had a video consultation with Dr Heaney recently, relating to undiagnosed chronic pain. Dr Heaney is forthright, caring and honest in his assessments. He has an air of the concerned expert (which he no doubt is). Although my condition proved unlikely to be nerve related, I can say that all avenues were pursued. I would strongly recommend Dr Heaney to anyone who has neuropathic issues.

We experienced some issues when the equipment rooom had faults and the staff worked extremely hard and effectively to overcome the issues and ensure the program of treatment was completed without any undue delays. Extremely happy with my experience at this clinic. Had a very painful tendinopathy which has now fully healed. I was given a detailed assessment, followed by targeted exercises with 1-1 PT, soft tissue massage and a course of shockwave therapy. I am not in pain any more and I keep doing the prescribed exercises to strengthen the muscle to avoid further issues.
