From my first meeting with Mr Srivastava in January, I felt at ease and confident that I was in the very best hands for my open heart surgery, to repair my Mitral and Tricuspid valves. I was listened to and my points were acknowledged , every detail was explained very well and my questions were all answered fully. There was no time pressure and I did not feel rushed in anyway during the meeting, my wife whom was with me felt the same. On the day of my surgery, Vivek spent time explaining the procedure again and due to his calm nature I felt very relaxed and totally confident in his ability. My wife Claire was called by Vivek and he informed her how my procedure had gone, which she was very pleased about. Claire felt from the call that he genuinely cares. I was visited daily by Vivek and his team whilst I was recovering in hospital, showing me a caring and attentive bedside manner, his time with me never felt rushed. Mr Srivastava saw me for me for my 6 week follow up assessment, together with James, one of his Registrars, the appointment went very smoothly. Vivek’s team members that I met all spoke very highly of him, as do the staff in CCU and on the CT ward. I am extremely grateful for the help that Vivek has given to me. He is an amazing surgeon and a very kind and good man. I am extremely pleased that my Cardiologist referred me to him for the surgery and care. I obviously hope never to need this sort of surgery again, but if I did my prayer would be that I was under the care of Vivek. Thank you again for everything.Mark M

Dr Kenga was absolutely amazing. From the moment we met her, we knew that she was the best choice to help us through pregnancy and safely deliver our baby. She is empathetic, thorough and incredibly knowledgable. From our first appointment, Dr Kenga was able to help immediately with my pregnancy nausea - instantly improving my pregnancy experience. She put a plan in place for the pregnancy and delivery, so that we did not have to worry about any steps along the way. She was always contactable - we had a private WhatsApp group where my husband or I could ask questions, any time of the day/night, and she would get back to us extremely quickly: often within 10 minutes. Kenga made me feel safe, listened to, and thoroughly taken care of at a time in life where there are a lot of unknowns and risks. The delivery itself was 22 hours and she was present throughout, ensuring that our beautiful baby boy was delivered healthy and happy. We were hoping for a natural delivery and, with Dr Kenga's expertise, we narrowly avoided a caesarean, instead delivering vaginally via forceps. It was an excellent experience and we were very grateful. We could not be happier with our choise of obstetrician and will absolutely be requesting her help with our future pregnancies.

The Portland Hospital was a wonderful place to safely deliver our beautiful baby boy. Our experience was personalised, with very thorough and caring professionals. Our obstetrician, Dr Kenga Sivarajah, was incredibly knowledgable and kind: someone we could trust implicitely and who was there throughout the entire 22 hour labour to ensure a safe delivery. The Anaesthetic team were quick and very effective with the epidural, ensuring that my pain was well managed throughout, with no side effects from the epidural. The nursing staff, both on the delivery ward and maternity ward, were amazing. Ellie and Scarlet were there every step to make sure I was safe and comfortable during labour. On the birth ward, we had regular nurse check ins and a lot of help with breastfeeding positions and latch. There was the option of the night nursery as well, which we elected not to use. The room was very comfortable with a trundle bed for my partner to sleep and a private bathroom (hugely appreciated immediately post birth). The food was excellent, with an extensive menu. The kitchen was a bit slow on some of the orders, but otherwise very good. Overall, our Portland experience was wonderful and we would hope to deliver there again in future.

I endured a horrific accident about 10 years ago when I fell (I believe due to a drink being spiked) and fractured two of my front teeth, one so badly that I had to have root canal work done and a crown fitted, I was devastated to learn that the root canal had failed and had caused an infection which would require further and costly dental work. The staff at Vermilion couldn't have done any better in how they treated me throughout the course of treatment which spanned 3 months. Dr Treagus in particular, must be highly commended, as despite his struggles in drilling through the crown (due to metalwork within the crown) to enable him to carry out the treatment, persevered and kept me informed at every stage, detailing worst case scenarios and explaining very directly what my options were. He and his colleagues managed to create a calm, and at times humorous environment which really helped to take my mind off the seriousness of what needed to be done and what could go wrong. I highly recommend the practice for their professionalism, and sheer determination to achieve a good outcome for me.

A little concerned as to what seems to be a deterioration in standards. - my temperature was checked with an ear thermometer that didn't have a removal cap for hygiene so does this mean it's used in each patients ears? I did not see the deodorant change the cap or discard anything, just picked it up from the table. - my ultrasound scan felt completely rushed. The doctor kept looking at his watch through out my appointment. The machine was supposedly heating up and the doctor did no ask me to turn in the positions to check the organs we needed to see. - I was prescribed medication that can easily be purchased at any pharmacy and more cost affective to purchase without prescription - there is no where near enough privacy in the appointment rooms and the waiting area. It's quiet and I could hear almost the entire conversation of other patients. - I should have been offered a full urine test based on my blood results - over not the experience I've had before. Really disappointed.

I recently booked an appointment with Dr Leena Sinha, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. The online booking system was very simple to use, with plenty of available days and times to choose from, which made scheduling extremely convenient. Dr Sinha was warm, professional, and very knowledgeable. She carried out a thorough physical examination and asked detailed questions about my symptoms and family medical history. I felt she genuinely listened and took the time to understand my concerns. She provided clear and helpful advice and recommended a series of tests to investigate further. The first test was arranged and completed within 24 hours, and the next one was booked within a week, which shows how efficient the process was. Overall, my experience was very positive. I felt reassured and confident in her care, and I’m very glad I chose to see Dr Sinha. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a supportive and knowledgeable doctor.

I have already set out my praise for Seth in the previous comments but what specifically stood out on my most recent session with him was his probing on whether I was neurodivergent. At first this seemed random and irrelevant to my ankle and knee issues but, upon informing him that I had autism, he explained that there could in fact be a clear link (and also help make sense of other things I deal with that I’d never disclosed to him). It was, in my view, a moment of genius and his clear, thoughtful approach to setting out his thinking was brilliant. I’ve been to a lot of physiotherapists and consultants but none have ever thought to enquire about neurodivergence. Seth has been so good to me and I can’t thank him enough.

Mr Yamoah has changed my life and I will forever be grateful. For almost ten years my GP told me I had IBS and wouldn’t take my pain seriously. This time last year I reached breaking point and didn’t think I would ever feel better. I’m so glad I decided to seek private care. Mr. Yamoah is the first medical professional that has taken me seriously and not made me feel like a nuisance or hypochondriac. Dr Gamble has been a real life saver from the moment he installed my pacemaker 4 months ago. A recent bacterial chest infection has caused me a setback in my open heart surgery rehabilitation, however Dr Gamble has thoroughly checked my heart and pacemaker via ECG and Echo' data and I am re-assured that I am on the mend again. He has explained the issues around my medication and I have complete faith in his guidance and recommendations. He explains things in easy to understand terms and answers honestly all queries raised. I will be booking a follow-up consultation with Dr Gamble again in 6 months time.

Im not even making this up, I felt no pain from start to finish! , Stephen and Gillian put you at ease from the minute you arrive and talk to throughout the procedure , they are down to earth professionals and have seen it all before! 30 mins later its all over and 4 months after the procedure i have the email confirmation that the procedure was a success, I don't know why I put it off for years , such an easy procedure to have done.

Our baby girl was delivered at the Fitzrovia. We were supported by the amazing Dr. Chawla and a highly competent team of midwives. We felt cared for by the midwives throughout the delivery, especially Lesley, Chrissy and our anaesthetist John, and throughout our after birth experience.
