This review is a bit overdue, as, I saw Mr Sedra earlier this year. However, I was referred to Mr Sedra after being diagnosed with a sacroiliac issue that was causing extreme pain that was interfering in my daily life, and making managing an existing chronic condition even more difficult. I met with Mr Sedra a few times as we explored various treatment options, and I always felt that he was completely focused on helping me to obtain the best possible result for myself; he (and star secretary Gemma) were always available for any questions I had, and made me feel safe and optimistic that I would be on the mend soon in his care. Mr Sedra also ensured I was provided with guidance around what to do should I ever feel I need further treatment, and I would not hesitate to request him as my doctor once more. I would 100% recommend Mr Sedra and am so incredibly grateful for his friendly support and care.

My father was seen short notice on Wednesday the 5th of November which was very much appreciated. Unfortunately he did not have a good experience on his visit. The consultant came to see him in the waiting room and made him roll up his trousers and examined him in front of other people in the waiting room. He made him walk across the room with his trousers rolled up and as my father's hearing is not good he began to talk really loudly to him in front of these other people. I was with him and to be honest it was very degrading and embarrassing for a 79 year old man. He more or less told my father to get on with it and stop taking any antibiotics that were prescribed by his GP. My father ended up having an infection in his knee but unfortunately this man was very dismissive when my father said the knee was sore and had a lump on it and made us feel like we were just bothering him.

I took my daughter for a blood test today with Dr. Nimah Bholah, and we had an outstanding experience. My daughter has had difficult and painful blood draws in the past, so she was quite nervous. But Dr. Bholah was incredibly reassuring, gentle, and patient throughout the whole process. To our surprise, my daughter felt no pain or discomfort at all, it was the most relaxed she has ever been during a blood test. Dr. Bholah explained everything clearly, helped her feel at ease, and showed real care and professionalism. My daughter even said she would happily come back to see the same doctor again whenever she needs blood work. That alone says everything about the quality of care we received. Thank you, Dr. Bholah, for making what is usually a stressful experience into such a positive one. Truly exceptional service.

The staff were lovely, so kind and understanding which has been thoroughly appreciated. However, some frustration noted around wait times. While it is appreciated that diagnostics are a lengthy process and take time, I found issues where my assessments were delayed due to Skylight not having all the information from the forms I had already completed, and after submitting my forms I was not told that all of the information had not been received until I reached out and chased my application due to the time frames I was given being overdue. To improve this experience, more communication on what has and hasn’t been received would improve the experience and shorten some people’s wait times, as my wait time was partially increased due to lack of communication over forms I had or hadn’t filled in.

I was struggling to get a face to face appoinment with my NHS GP. Filling out their triage forms where tick boxes didn’t cover half my symptoms and not enough room in the comments to describe my issues and concerns was getting me nowhere. So I decided to go private. Daleswood was recommended to me by a friend. I was happy to pay for a 30min consultation where I could go through the history and symptoms I was experiencing. It was well worth it, blood tests were recommended and a diagnosis made that explained all the symptoms not just one or two. I was so relieved to finally have been listened to and believed. Not just told ‘we only deal with one thing at a time’

I was very apprehensive about getting both of my eyes done at the same time. I cant believe how easy and painless it was ,all of the staff were amazing in looking after me and putting me at ease. Having 24 hr support was amazing ,my concerns were addressed quickly . If only everything was as easy as this ,within 3 days i could see perfectly ,i never realised how much of a difference it would make . From my consultant ,nursing staff, opthamologists, domestic staff and receptionist they went above and beyond in their care. Nothing was too much bother. Dont hesitate to go ,you will be amazed .

Richard is, without question, the kindest and most effective therapist I’ve ever worked with. His confidence, evidently based on deep knowledge, is paired with his good humour and informal approach to create an extremely comfortable and supportive therapeutic environment. He has, and continues to support me with both the practical, day-to-day steps in my recovery from anorexia, as well as the deep and meaningful work needed to make that recovery robust. Spire Hartswood Hospital

The Spire is a very clean and well equipt hospital but with limited parking. However, my last trip to the spire hartswood had an hours delay before I was seen, which isnt ideal. My thoughts on this is if Reform get their way and sell off NHS that private sector is no better equipt to deal with volume than NHS. Tjat daid onve seen I was treated by a lovely nurse Marianne who was very caring and jolly which made yhe appointment a very pmeasurable experience.

The Cystoscopy department was the height of professionalism from the receptionist right down the line too Mr Bhat and his team. I was kept in the loop on my procedure by Mr Bhat at all times and felt like my opinion counted. This is one if not the best team it has been my pleasure to have been under in the NHS. I received ultrasound guided injections for osteoarthritis and a meniscus tear in my left knee by Dr Rahul .The care and treatment from the receptionist to the Dr was outstanding .The clinic is clean , welcoming and has a very high standard of care to its patients.
