I had a private care with Dr Kenga Sivarajah (my Obstetrician) at King’s College Hospital, Denmark Hill and Central Health clinic for the delivery of my baby, and I cannot recommend the experience highly enough. Dr Kenga is truly a brilliant obstetrician. Her expertise, calm reassurance, and decisive leadership throughout my pregnancy and delivery made me feel completely safe and confident at every stage. She combines exceptional clinical skill with genuine compassion, which made an enormous difference during such an important and emotional time. I am also incredibly grateful to Adrian Dubrowicz, the anaesthetist, whose professionalism, clear explanations, and calm manner put me instantly at ease. His care was outstanding and contributed hugely to a smooth and positive delivery experience. A very special thank you to Keira Willis and Amina Muhommad who were absolutely amazing midwives during our two-day stay. Their kindness, attentiveness, encouragement, and tireless support — both clinically and emotionally — made the entire experience feel personal, caring, and reassuring. They went above and beyond to ensure both my baby and I were comfortable and well cared for. The standard of care under Dr Kenga’s leadership at King’s College Hospital was exceptional, and I will always be grateful to this outstanding team for the role they played in bringing our baby safely into the world. I would highly recommend Dr Kenga and her team and the private maternity service to anyone seeking expert care with a truly human touch.

I am an international masters hockey player , which normally involves playing 5 full games over a 10 day period. Eighteen months ago I got constant pain in my left knee. During a tournament last year I was really struggling to play as was in constant pain from game one and it only got worse over the tournament. I got an MRI and had a consultation with a specialist knee surgeon, who stated that the pain was mainly due to wear and tear. The cartilage had thinned and there were signs of osteoarthritis and inflammation. We tried a cortisone injection which did absolutely nothing for me. I was reluctant to get a partial knee replacement but was not keen on the recovery time and also how successful it would be. After finding out about arthromacid and doing some research I decided to give it a go as it is much less invasive than surgery. The procedure was very straightforward and had a bit of stiffness and a bit of constant pain for about 10 days. Since then I have had bit of constant pain but the majors thing is that I don’t notice it when playing and even managed to play 5 games in 10 days with only a very slight degradation in performance and no significant increase in pain. I am very pleased with the outcome of the procedure and am hoping to be continue playing into the future.

We went today for our gender scan. The waiting room was lovely and was nice to have a drink and biscuit whilst waiting. We were early and went in not long after our appointment time. Once in the scan the two ladies were lovely and so friendly. Our baby was being difficult and didn’t want us to see what gender they were. They checked everything else for us and did all the measurements and checks which we were grateful for. The ladies did everything they could to not have our journey wasted. I first was sent for a wee, then a walk and a hot drink. Baby was still sitting cross legged whilst cuddling the cord so told us to go shopping and then come back. Once arriving back the lady told us to sit and wait and she’ll come get us once she could. Wasn’t waiting long and went back in. Finally was able to see our babies gender. The Ladies loved seeing our baby, laughed with us about their movements as they were active and couldn’t reassure us more that our baby was happy and healthy. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. We didn’t have the best first experience with NHS but this had made up for it. Will forever recommend this place to friends and family.

My experience with CP&R…. has been fantastic…. everyone involved has been so very helpful…Becky….. Angela… Tom…. and my trainer Paddy….. (Patrick)…. he has been beyond amazing… from the start…. nothing but encouraging… always supportive…. I have had quite a few bumps along the way and he has always been so kind…. I feel so much stronger… and more confident…Paddy has a wonderful attitude…. full of kindness and nothing but encouragement…. he works you hard but understands one’s limitations… I cannot praise him highly enough…. and I shall never forget this experience…. he has become a lifelong friend…. and I wish him all the luck in the world going forwards…. I reckon CP&R are very lucky to have him!…. I would also like to say a thank you to you all but to Tom who stepped in a few times and was also so encouraging… and I always loved his texts of support…. Thank you!… Becky and Angela .. thank you too for all your support… although it’s been a much longer journey than I had realised…. out of hard times…… has come a lot of good …meeting you all!…. so a huge never ending thank you….

We chose Fitzrovia Suite as its part of big NHS hospital in case of any unexpected emergency, it made us feel comfortable being just 1 floor away in case anything happens. The team is wonderful and professional able to create a sense of safety and calm in those moments before and after birth. They were supportive during one of the most vulnerable and delicate experiences a woman can go through, offering practical tips, guidance, emotional support and truly personal care at any hour, for any question or request we had. Midwifes supported us looking after our baby so we can get some sleep waking us is time for feeds, meds and breastfeed support. The midwifes were also available on WhatsApp after the birth, which was incredibly helpful. There is so much information to process when you’re discharged home, and having the ability to ask follow-up questions and get quick clarifications made a huge difference for us. Facility itself is clean, catering is nice, rooms were comfortable, branded toiletries are provided -great experience.

I was going to e mail anyway to pass on my thanks so it’s nice to be able to leave a review. How lovely all the staff were that I met on NY eve. Dr Aziz was amazing! What a kind, considerate, empathetic and professional individual. I felt really unwell that day and concerned about some test results. She was so thorough, talked everything through with me in such a kind and understanding way. I left feeling so reassured. I want to thank the two lovely ladies on reception for helping with a couple of issues, a lovely lady who advised about which tests/appointments to approach first and another lovely lady who took my blood tests. I am sorry I did not get any names. But I want to say a huge thank you to all five individuals I met that day. You really helped me so very much. Five star rating all round from me! From the friendly welcome on reception on my first\every visit, through the countless appointments with orthodontics, prosthodontics, hygiene and x-ray, everyone and everything was spot on. The coordination and communication between the different departments through the course of my 17 months of treatment was super professional and the outcome is nothing sort of exceptional. Special shout out to Chris for getting my teeth in fantastic shape for the prosthodontics and to Photini for the wizardry she demonstrated with the rebuilding work. I was honestly lost for words when I seen my renovated smile for the first time. Additional thanks to Michaela in hygiene for the whitening, to dental nurse Lucy and to Rachael and Gemma for coordinating it all.

I got to the hospital early due to the known parking issues. I spent 20 mins going around the hospital car parks without success. I made receptionists aware that I was there and had parking issues. I was advised that I couldn’t use your car park as I am an NHS patient. I don’t appreciate 2 tier management of patient's needs. I was informed that I could park directly outside on yellow lines without fear of receiving a penalty. I was worried while in Spencer’s as I wasn’t totally happy with where I was parked. As I was early, I was seen 15 mins before my appointment. I was made to understand that because I had difficulty uploading my medication the nurse had to complete this task. Staff were friendly and clearly experienced. I was given a reserved date.

From the moment I met Mr Karamanakos he was he was very attentive to my needs, explained every aspect of the procedure to correct my hernia. He went into great detail of my options as to which procedure would be best for me and that would produce the best results. After the operation he came and saw myself and my wife and spent time explaining what had happened during the procedure and what I should and should not do to ensure a good recovery. In the follow up appointment he again spent time with us on how I should proceed over the next 1 month. His explanations were very clear and easy to understand. Mr Karamanakos was very professional and was very easy and approachable throughout the whole time I was under his care.

I had been considering eye surgery and attended Cathedral Eye Clinic to get a second opinion, having already spoken with a consultant in Dublin. Putting it simply, my experience in Belfast was far superior. The team at Cathedral ran a more comprehensive range of tests, assigned more time and personnel to my case, and were far better at talking through my options. In particular, I was very pleased that they were willing to give me their honest perspectives based on what they felt was best for me in the long run. Ultimately (based on their guidance), I decided not to go forward with any additional procedure at this time, but should I need treatment further down the line, I will not hesitate to go back to Belfast.

I went at 11 weeks for a scan and for a NIPT test. The booking process was excellent, the members on the phone were so helpful and considerate. My appointment with Dr Desi was on time and extremely thorough. She was so compassionate, caring and kind throughout the appointment, explaining everything each step of the way and being extremely thorough through the scan and explaining our NIPT options. It’s the best consulting experience I’ve had throughout my pregnancy. Reception staff were extremely helpful too. I would really recommend LPC to any expecting couples. I have been a patient of Dr Rahman for over 20 years. He always takes time to see one and one never feels rushed. He explain's your condition and treatment. Although I have seen Dr Rahman due to a respiratory condition he takes a holistic approach and has saved my life when I had kidney failure and a rare auto immune illness. I have the utmost respect for Dr Rahman and have been so lucky to have him treat me. I would highly recommend Dr Rahman to anyone. I should also add his PA Emma is also exceptional and she has helped me dealing with hospitals and my medical insurers.
