The team at Newmedica from the receptionists to the optometrists, nurses and Mr Anjari my consultant were so welcoming and made me feel at ease from the moment I arrived. I was quite anxious about having cataract surgery, but the team made me feel relaxed each time I visited. Mr Anjari was very reassuring and spent time helping me decide which lenses were right for me. The surgery was quick, and painless - so efficient., I had no need to worry about going back for the second one. The aftercare was excellent too with a phone check up and another thorough appointment. Mr Anjari helped me choose Galaxy lenses … I can’t believe how clearly I can see near and far ! It is nothing short of miraculous after living in a blur for years! I am now able to read the smallest print yet look across a field and identify birds in the trees. I’ll be forever thankful to Mr Anjari and his team for the transformation of my sight.

The receptionist and the nurse were lovely. However, the consultant made me feel like I wasn’t heard at all, I didn’t really get to talk about anything I wanted to talk about because every time I tried to I was cut off and told I would have to speak to someone else about that but I was confused as I was speaking about the issue I was there for. I also felt like I was penalised for my gp making a mistake and did feel very uncomfortable by the end of the consultation. Which made me quite sad as this is an issue I’ve been dealing with for a couple of years and I feel like I’m still getting no where with it.

I was seeking a progress review as I was 6 weeks into a 12 week treatment plan and wanted to know that things were on track. I was offered a catch up appointment or a tel con review, either to occur within the hour but I agreed to send in some photo's via email. I received a call back from Mr Sidloff within 10 minutes of emailing him in which he was able to reassure me that all looked fine and there was no need for me to see him before the end of Jan 2026, unless I had a concern. So, 10 out of 10 for the speed and helpfulness of his response.

Very good initial consultation and diagnosis with clear explanations of my back and hip issues and prognosis. James suggested injection therapy to block the nerve and reduce inflammation. I went forward with the procedure with great help from James’ secretary and office who organized all the arrangements and made it easy. The procedure went well and I am very happy with the results, and my back and leg pain has been cured with no issues 6 weeks afterwards. Mr Fitzgerald has a friendly and caring approach, backed by many years experience. I have also found him very responsive, his explanations clear and his suggested approach always geared to my best recovery. I would not hesitate to consult him again should I need the services of an orthopaedic specialist.

Dr Azam talked me through the procedure and had a warm manner and listened well. The procedure was done carefully. I had an injection which I barely felt We moved my shoulder afterwards which was sore but Dr Azam allowed me to feel in control of the process which meant I felt I could tolerate it. The morning after it already feels like there has been improvement. Thank you.

I highly recommend the clinic I had the O shot done about 12 weeks ago for my LS condition which at the time was a very sore and angry I now at present experiencing no symptoms of LS apart from a small patch of white skin. I highly recommend anyone with LS to go and give elite a visit to get a symptoms under control.

I'm happy with Albion Dental, my only feedback would be that I have spoken to a few friends who also use Albion and none of us like having to pay £50 upfront for future appointments, I don't mind paying a deposit but £50 feels too much. As a result I know people that don't book 6 months in advance. Thanks
