Dr Arif Hussenbux is easily one of the best gastroenterologists I have ever met. From the very first consultation, he showed a rare combination of deep medical expertise, genuine compassion, and a calm, reassuring manner that immediately put me at ease. He took the time to listen to my full history, understood the complexity of my symptoms, and explained everything in a way that was clear and easy to understand. He reviewed all my scans, tests, and previous investigations in detail and connected things that other doctors had overlooked. During my procedures (gastroscopy and colonoscopy), he was extremely professional, gentle, and thorough. His explanation of the results afterward was outstanding — he made sure I fully understood what was happening with my health, why I was feeling the way I do, and exactly what the next steps should be. What stood out the most was his honesty and clarity. He didn’t rush me into unnecessary treatments. Instead, he created a structured, sensible plan and reassured me at every stage. When an adrenal nodule was found, he immediately arranged the correct referral to ensure nothing was missed. He genuinely cares about his patients, and that makes all the difference. I feel safe in his hands, confident in his plan, and extremely grateful for his care. Highly recommended — a world-class doctor and a true professional.

Mr Keenan was very helpful and clarified all of my concerns about what I should or should not be doing. He appeared to be genuinely interested in how I was progressing. He showed me an x-ray of my hip and told me there was a small amount of wear on the other hip, to keep an eye on it, and, if it bothered me, then I should get on the waiting list sooner rather than later. In view of my advancing years I believe that was very good advice. Personally I believe I was very lucky to have been a patient of Mr Keenan, he was extremely professional in every way and I could not be any more happy about the operation, the care and the outcome, though I must admit I was quite fearful right up until the mask was put over my face! I feel a million percent better as a result of the hip replacement and there was no pain whatsoever. I walk better now than I have done for many years. Thank you Mr Keenan.

My father was seen short notice on Wednesday the 5th of November which was very much appreciated. Unfortunately he did not have a good experience on his visit. The consultant came to see him in the waiting room and made him roll up his trousers and examined him in front of other people in the waiting room. He made him walk across the room with his trousers rolled up and as my father's hearing is not good he began to talk really loudly to him in front of these other people. I was with him and to be honest it was very degrading and embarrassing for a 79 year old man. He more or less told my father to get on with it and stop taking any antibiotics that were prescribed by his GP. My father ended up having an infection in his knee but unfortunately this man was very dismissive when my father said the knee was sore and had a lump on it and made us feel like we were just bothering him.

As a cameraman that relies on driving for my job , it was crucial that I had my cataracts procedure performed at the earliest opportunity! It wasn’t straightforward because I had previously had laser eye surgery and an infection on one of my eyes that left a scar, so Rohit and his team had a challenging task having to work with that and having to do the refractive procedure ! Not only did he and his team fit me in promptly , the whole experience was stress free and I felt relaxed and comfortable throughout , they did everything they could to help! The end result is incredible and I am so overjoyed and can now return to work and drive! I highly recommend Mr Jolly and his wonderful team’

Better signage would help. We wandered around looking for the appropriate location. There are two car parking 4 areas which doesn't help. Luckily we found a helpful Doc who took us to where we needed to be. Once there we were welcomed. I couldn't eat anything after the op, the restaurant didn't have anything for gluten, dairy and egg free patient. I feel sure they could have products on standby for the future, most vegan products would suffice.

Dr Cockbain explained everything in detail regarding my surgery and making this horrible cancer journey a lot better, the sensitivity and compassion he has for his patients is second to none. 8 months now since I’ve had a partial gastrectomy and you wouldn’t even know, I’m back to being healthy. I cannot rate Dr Cockbain and his team highly enough.

I had a raised spot on my arm which was diagnosed as actinic keratosis- precancerous cells. GP recommend cream but didn’t want to use due to side effects. Dr Gupta was very professional and had a very caring and kind disposition. She used cryotherapy on the area which was only mildly uncomfortable for a few seconds and then checked the rest of my body for me. Thoroughly recommend and have booked my husband for a body check! Thank you ☺️

The facilities are top tier (and the food is truly excellent too….a big thank you to the catering staff!). In short, my stay was very comfortable and I felt safe and well looked after throughout. For private treatment it was very disappointing. The overall building and facilities were shabby and rundown. There was no reception or anyone to direct me as where to go. If your Trust is to offer private treatment, it has to be more professional and provide better quality facilities otherwise it is taking money under false pretences. It is not want private treatment should be.

Had MRI scan had to wait c30 mins later than booked time. Person after me was c50 mins after booked time. This was immediately in the morning (8:45am) as well so something went wrong. Perhaps need to stagged appointments and leave larger gaps between clients to give some slack other wise can get big delays down the line (me 30mins next person 50mins)

Once I had the surgery, the pain had gone and movement restored almost immediately. I even attended a routine Hospital appointment 6 days after the surgery.
