I saw Professor Kochhar in August 2025 following a injury to my shoulders. He had reviewed my MRI prior to my visit and was ready to explain the extent of the injury. Fortunately, I had not torn anything. However, Professor Kochhar explained that due to the inflammation (bursitis and tendonitis) I had restrictions in my arm movement and pain in my shoulders. He suggested cortisone injections but I continued with physio with the hope of being able to resolve the episode. I went back for ultrasound-guided cortisone injectionsin Oct 2025. They were administered extremely well by Dr. Gajan Rajeswaran. I am really happy to report that after 3 days I stopped having any pains. After just 3-4 weeks, I am now swimming and gym training 3X a week. I highly recommend Professor Kochhar, a true professional with extensive knowledge and experience in his specialty with excellent bedside manners.

I am Betty's daughter. My mum has mobility issues. Getting her from the car park into the diagnostics centre was incredibly difficult. We borrowed a wheel chair from the helpful car park attendant. But it was raining so heavily that by the time we got inside my 87yr old mum was soaked to the skin. She had to sit in wet clothing for 4.5hrs until I got her home and changed. Luckily the car park attendant helped us back to the car at the end of her procedure. You REALLY need a drop-off right zone at the door to the centre, with seats inside to help relatives get their lives ingress in safely.. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, but even with their help, this was a very stressful visit fdue to lack of access and horrendous weather conditions.

I had a facelift and blepharoplasty under twilight anaesthesia a week ago and want to share how delighted I am with the whole experience. I do not react particularly well to general anaesthetic and sometimes my blood pressure drops dramatically , but this was actually quite pleasant. I got to lie down under a nice warm blanket and drifted into what I felt was a short nap. In reality it was 4 hours later and Mr Britto had done his magic. I was soon able to eat a light meal and to go home a couple of hours later. There was no “hangover “ feeling . It is a pity that this type of anesthesia is not used more widely. My dressings were removed today and I am looking forward to seeing the final result once the swelling has subsided.

Having had the need to require two replacement hips I could not have had better treatment and success from Mr Patco and his team at Spire. They made me very at ease on both occasions and explained the benefits that would be made in the long term. Although quite nervous at first the anethetist was super and helped to alay the fears I had from the start to completion I can highly recommend their expertise in the orthopedic field. Dilligent exercise to help muscles recover is a must as advocated and explained by the physio team, especially as I was so unfit prior to my operations. I cannot rate my experience highly enough. Mr. Thakur and Dr. Richard the anesthetist were extremely professional and supportive and took time to clearly explain the procedure and process and answer all of my questions. The nursing staff, Steph, Brian, Natalie and Til were fantastic looking after me post op and were very friendly and supportive. The pharmacy team took great care in explaining my medication and advising on the pain relief regime to follow. Gary from the Physio team was great at explaining the rehab exercises and putting me through my paces to make sure I started my recovery in the best way. A great team, please pass on my thanks.

The clinic gives a luxurious atmosphere making you feel at ease the minute you walk through the door. Mark Norton met me at the appointed time and explained that the Xray showed osteoarthritis in my left hip. Although not critical he recommended a hip replacement before the pain I was experiencing became worse. He said he could fit in the operation in early January if I was wishing to proceed. I said that time would suit me. He examined my legs which confirmed the problem and then passed me paperwork and consent form to enable him to proceed. I was then introduced to a Nurse who dealt with the initial preoperative tests. All together everything was conducted in a efficient and professional manner.

Absolutely amazing, I cannot fault the care and support I have received. I may not be able to climb mountains, but I can carry on with my walking, taking care of myself at the same time. I couldn't have wished for a better Consultant to carry out the surgery and the follow up consultation enabled me to verbally express my gratitude for what he has done. After years of hip pain and multiple operations from my mid-late 20’s through to late 30s, and after previously undergoing a POA operation under a different consultant, I am finally pain free thanks to Mr Holton performing a hip replacement. It wasn’t straight forwards due to previous procedures and in-situ metal work, but Mr Holton planned around the issues to deliver a successful hip replacement. Reasoning behind decisions were always clearly explained, and he genuinely cares about the well-being of his patients.

I had an injury last year on my left calf alongside recurring main in my right foot so wanted to get them checked. Dr Lord effectively assessed my calf, showed a very small tear, and then looked at my feet and told me there’s minor thickening in one of the tendons, which wouldn’t require any intervention but recommended physio for both including some effective stretching. Now I’ve got my report I can give to my physio and monitor it more effectively ACTUALLY knowing what’s wrong.

Dr Cockbain is an amazing man, from first meeting him i felt reassured things would be ok. Dr Cockbain explained everything in detail regarding my surgery and making this horrible cancer journey a lot better, the sensitivity and compassion he has for his patients is second to none. 8 months now since I’ve had a partial gastrectomy and you wouldn’t even know, I’m back to being healthy. I cannot rate Dr Cockbain and his team highly enough.

I walked up 12 floors as there were no lifts available.Only 14% capacity.I got to the Thames view suite via the cardiac lift because a cardiac unit staff member took pity on me and put me into lift 14 to complete my Access Path to the private patients unit. What on earth is going on and why does the lift maintenance contract not have a 50% minimum functionality profile as a term for service?
