I have been a patient of Marc Laniado for more than 10 years now with a considerable number of sizable bladder and prostate related issues and can hand on heart say that Marc is undoubtedly the best doctor and surgeon I have ever met in my life. And due to a number of other health issues over the years I have met quite a few. His knowledge, skills and surgical expertise are second to none and he is always at the forefront of all of the latest proven new advanced in procedures and is an absolute expert in his entire field in my opinion. Additionally I can tell you that Marc is the most dedicated and committed man to his work and also more unbelievably supportive and committed to his patients that you could possibly imagine. He is unquestionably an extremely kind , patient, understanding and tolerant man and without him over the years I would have struggled very very much indeed, both physically and phychologically. He is so totally supportive at all times and puts his patients at the top of his priority list to an extent I have never ever witnessed before nor I believe am likely to ever see in anyone else again. Marc is also supported superbly by his P.A. Zoe who once again is very kind, patient helpful and understanding, quite apart from being absolutely superbly efficient . Which really compliments the entire superiority of a completely faultless service that Marc Laniado provides to his patients. My advice to anybody would be if you have any problems at all relative to Marc's wide range of expertise, Marc should be your one and only point of call. I promise you you will find none better and again in my opinion you will find none better... because there just isn't anyone better. An all-round wonderful doctor and surgeon and also a wonderfully kind and truly supportive man. I consider myself extremely lucky to have been recommended to Marc all those years ago and truly feel that Marc's many other patients would feel exactly the same way as I do. Speaking from a man's perspective ,urinary, bladder and prostate issues I feel can be very worrying indeed and also quite embarrassing and very stressful as they can bring considerable concern and disruption to normal life. So in summary I would say to anybody suffering with problems, Marc Laniado is your man ! You will need no other and I would stake my life you would never regret it. His undying support and understanding for his patients along with his superior knowledge, tremendous surgical expertise, and complete all round skill set is truly amazing I can honestly assure everyone who may read this. Mental State Examination - of the psychiatrist Pleasant on interaction, quickly establishes a warm rapport and puts you at ease. His questions are structured but feel natural, and he allows you to go off on tangents while gently bringing you back on track when needed. He explains his thinking clearly, checks your understanding, and comes across as calm, grounded and genuinely interested. Throughout the assessment he was fully present, respectful and kind, while still being appropriately thorough and evidence-based. Impression Dr Athanasios Tsoumpris is a highly competent and compassionate Consultant Psychiatrist with real expertise in adult ADHD. I felt listened to, taken seriously and never rushed, and I left the assessment feeling understood and hopeful rather than judged. I am very happy with my diagnosis and the way it was reached, and I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone seeking an ADHD assessment or ongoing care.

I recently had my gallbladder removed due to having chronic cholecystitis, and chose to have this done by Professor Rob at the Spire hospital due to his outstanding experience and reviews. This was my first ever procedure/surgery, so I was feeling quite anxious about it. From start to finish, Rob made me feel super comfortable and at ease. He explained my condition thoroughly at the initial assessment; even drew me a lovely diagram! He answered all my questions and reassured me how straight forward it would be. The whole experience was excellent and impressive, including the short stay at the hospital. I told my family/friends, if I had another gallbladder to lose, I would do it all again tomorrow! I had my suspicions as to what was happening to me. However, going down the general NHS GP route was not getting me anywhere. They kept treating each symptom individually rather than looking at me as a whole. A few years of going backwards and forwards. Stress! With Dr Nikki, within the 30 minute consultation I felt heard, all symptoms were put together and a treatment plan was formed. It all made sense and everything was explained. Medication prescribed and ordered, report received and a report sent to my own GP, all within a few hours. Future follow up already booked. That is what you call professionalism, efficiency and having very knowledgeable doctors who understand the female body. Wish I had booked them sooner. I would highly recommend them.

Due to my individual circumstances there was some confusion in relation to payment and that spilled over onto me personally as well as causing stress across the whole procedure at the outset. This was resolved but exposes the fact that some attention needs to be paid to the way things are looked at and handles when the circumstances fall outside of the general conventions of the service provided. In the end it was all sorted out but the initial confusion and stress could have been avoided. I have no complaints but was a bit surprised at the apparent chaos at the outset. I have no idea if any one aspect was to blame, I think it was probably general confusion in relation to gaps in communication between the parties involved in payment etc.

Nobody knew how I would receive the X Ray results. The radiologist asked if I was seeing a consultant at the clinic - I wasn’t scheduled to see one. The guy on the first floor desk didn’t know how images could be shared with me and suggested I talk to the reception desk on the ground floor to get a CD burnt - I wanted images to be sent as I don’t have a CD reader. The ground floor desk confused too until a senior person stepped in to let me know about the app. I was told that I would receive images via the app but I cannot see appointments or images in the app. The experience was very confusing. Suggest more staff training on the app

Dr Treagus went above and beyond to ensure the best possible outcome for me and my tooth. He was very direct in explaining my options, what could and will likely go wrong in the future. He persevered in very challenging circumstances to complete the work he started, which in this case was drilling through a metal lined crown to address a failed root canal treatment and clear up an infection. His warm and humorous manner helped me to feel calm and take my mind off the seriousness of what was being done. A very professional, empathetic and great dentist.

I had a very positive experience visiting the menopause doctor. The only criticism relates to payment policy. I was required to pay the full amount for my next appointment six months in advance, which I felt was a little harsh. I completely understand taking a deposit to secure the appointment - perhaps 50% would be more reasonable - but paying in full so far ahead of time does feel quite steep.
