I cannot thank Dr Noushin Attari enough for the incredible care she provided to my 5-year-old son at Weymouth Street Paediatric Dental Care. My son has always been extremely anxious about dental visits — even routine cleanings have been a challenge. But Dr Attari immediately put him at ease with her calm, kind manner and child-friendly approach. Other dentists had told us that a decayed back baby tooth needed to be extracted, but Dr Attari took the time to assess it thoroughly and explained that it could be saved — and why preserving baby teeth is so important for the proper development and alignment of adult teeth. She managed to numb the area with local anaesthetic (something I never thought my son would tolerate), clean out the decay, and place a silver crown — all while keeping him calm and cooperative. Her behaviour management skills are truly exceptional. The entire team was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt supportive and caring from the moment we walked in. My son left smiling and already asking when he could come back to play in the lovely play area! As a mother, I’m beyond grateful. Dr Attari is a rare gem, and I highly recommend her.

In all, I attended at 3 different site for 1) original consultation, 2) operation and follow up check and 3) final follow up and discharge. The only common factor was Miss Gemma Manasseh, my Consultant. In all 3 locations the staff were very welcoming and friendly, making sure that I was informed of all that was going on, and making sure that I understood everything. Miss Manasseh was very pleasant, friendly, but professional. She led me through all the procedures and made sure I understood what was going to happen. She was very caring throughout the procedure and put me at ease, ensuring a good operation and recovery. I would like to commend and thank all of the staff I came into contact with particularly Miss Manasseh. I would highly commend Newmedica to anyone requiring anything to do with their eyes.

Attended for an SVT ablation by Prof Lambiase. Blood and MSRA tests done evening before, very convenient after short wait. Early check-in at 06:30, a short wait and then taken up to 5th floor for procedure. All extremely clean, staff very competent and helpful. Pre-op visit by Prof and anaesthetist, who were both extremely caring and gave full explanations and advice. Procedure went smoothly, comfortable and attentive in the theatre. Apparently went well! Follow-up overnight very comfortable, appropriate meals, even if breakfast order got scrambled! Spacious room with TV and shower. Thorough medical attention and full explanations, cannot fault either the professionals or the clinic. Visitors made welcome and unlimited access.

I had a laparoscopic myomectomy performed by Ms Eleni Mavrides, and I couldn’t be more grateful for her care. She was kind, supportive, and attentive throughout the whole process. I had undergone the same type of surgery before with another doctor, but my recovery this time was remarkably faster. Thanks to Ms Mavrides’ skill and precision — especially placing the laparoscopic incisions very low, below the navel — I was able to move freely and comfortably soon after the operation. She combines true professionalism with empathy and warmth, and made me feel safe and confident from start to finish. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional and compassionate consultant.

The girl who took me to where to get changed wasn't very friendly. Was vague about where to leave my belongings, ledt me in ine with no locker and had no idea if she was coming back or I should go somewhere and got me to go into three different rooms. She forgot to tell me to take my watch off. She asked if i had had an mri before i said yes but i didnt like them. She wasnt then friendly or anything. She was going through the motions. The same when she took me back. Didnt smile or anything really poor and forgot to remind to take my watch

Incredible team! Attentive, professional, kind and always making sure my recovery was uneventful and with the maximum comfort as possible. Facilities are excellent, food is delicious and rooms well equipped, with TV and Netflix to help us pass time in those ‘more difficult’ days after surgery. Special mention to nurse Ganga whose professionalism and friendliness really stood out. I would recommend the Lindo Wing to any friend or patient that requires professional and attentive medical help.

The treatment received at Spire hospital was excellent. The booking procedure however was not. Booking via Vitality led to my details not being set up and me having to call a central call centre (which did not have a clue) to arrange follow up treatments. I actually raised a separate complaint about this as the process was clearly not working as well as it should which is a shame as the hospital itself is good.

I had two consultations with Dr Sana Hassan, on both occasions she was extremely helpful taking time to listen and explained the procedures clearly. Blood test results, follow up call and referral within 24 hrs. Excellent service.

Dr Shadrad has been seeing my daughter since her coeliac disease diagnosis and we are really pleased that he is her doctor and with all of the support he has offered us over the years. He also reviews her asthma and coordinates well with her other medical professionals. He is very kind, both of my girls love visiting him and he has always provided patient, holistic consultations.

The consultant at my ultrasound was cold and uncommunicative. I had a biopsy but she never told me why or what was happening. I received no support even though I told her I was scared. The experience was rushed and cold. The consultant I saw at the start and end was also very non communicative, it was difficult to get any information and I just felt rushed.

My appointment was at 4.30pm but I arrived at the hospital at 2pm. I was delighted that I was called in to see Mr. Ijaz Ahmad at 2.30pm. He listened to my concerns and was very thorough with my treatment. He also arranged for me to have a hearing test while I was there. Everything done and dusted by 3pm and I was home by 4.30pm. A wonderful experience.

Spire is a lovely hospital, the service has always been excellent. My only feedback is the parking situation, why is the car park always so full?! I think there needs to be a system where you check in your vehicle registration in reception, otherwise a lot of people in the area likely use it as free parking
