I came to see Mr. Liantis with a lower back pain and had an excellent experience with him. He has a friendly and calming manner. He explains things methodically and is generous with his time. As a patient you feel like you are in save hands with Mr. Liantis. My MRI results did not show anything of a concern but it was reassuring to hear a detailed explanation from Mr. Liantis and look at the scan together. I would recommend this doctor.

Mr Rai has performed a miracle in the relief of my persistent sciatic nerve pain due to nerve compression in my spine. The relief is significant to total. Mr Rai took time to fully explain my condition including recording a video sp that I could articulate to my family clearly what he was going to do. I could not recommend Mr Mokawem enough after the treatment and care he has given me for my scoliosis. Every appointment we had, we are always approached with a reassuring and calm manner, and feeling fully informed on our possible options. We were meant to go ahead with surgery, yet after the Multi-Disciplinary Meeting took place, we were told that in my current position, they should not operate until further investigation had taken place. This just shows how incredible this team is, willing to postpone the surgery as something was not quite adding up. However, after thorough investigation, the surgery went ahead. He always left me choice throughout this process, listing all of the benefits and drawbacks of each stage. I was operated on at the RNOH, and almost every day, Mr Mokawem would come and see me. On around day 3, he came in and asked me if I wanted to stand and go for a short walk. I didn’t as this was one of the days I felt the most sore, but after some time chatting with him, he reassured me and supported me to push myself. I could not be more grateful for Mr Mokawem and his team’s care, and would highly recommend him to anyone! He has been hugely reassuring both to me and my parents.

Saw Mr hamid after long period of pain with my back, after sadly long NHS waiting list, I was not able to function daily life. He was open and honest about the options and procedure and risks and took time to listen to my views and worries. Unfortunately surgery was needed but the procedure was life changing. The procedure has changed my day to day, pain before the procedure was a score of 10/10, after the procedure my pain score is 0/10. The procedure was quick, and after the local anesthetic at the site the procedure was relatively painless, a little discomfort when the injection of fluid took place.

My experience from start finish was excellent. I was thoroughly given all the information prior to surgery and very well looked after during and after. Before meeting Mr Akula I had a herniated disc L5-S1 and I was in constant agony. I'm now 9 weeks post op and i already feel like I've got my life back.
