My experience from start finish was excellent. I was thoroughly given all the information prior to surgery and very well looked after during and after. Before meeting Mr Akula I had a herniated disc L5-S1 and I was in constant agony. I'm now 9 weeks post op and i already feel like I've got my life back.

I was very disappointed. While I appreciate that I hae no basis on which to make a judgement of Mr Seel's clinical skill, I found his interaction with me cursory. He seemed disinterested in my experience and I await with interest what happens when we meet and he has the findings of the clinical tests to discuss with me.

My daughter has scoliosis and the curve in her spine was severe. Mr Lucas has straightened her up nicely and we are extremely pleased with the result. The care she received throughout her operation was outstanding. Mr Lucas was very kind and put us all at ease. Although we were apprehensive about the surgery he made us feel confident that everything would be ok and it was! My daughter was walking the next day and within a few days she was also managing to take the stairs. I would happily recommend Mr Lucas to anyone seeking a spinal surgeon.

Mr M did an absolutely fantastic job with our daughter Edie. She had corrective scoliosis surgery that was a complete success. Mr M talked us through every stage, explaining the risks clearly. After a warning from the neurosurgeon & oncologist who had been monitoring the regrowth of my meningioma in September 2023 that it required surgery & as it was a second operation it was at high risk of stroke, bleeding, bone infection, going through old scar tissue, the tumour was pressing against a large vein. My daughter suggested I sought a second opinion, we chose Mr Shoakazemi who also specialises in my type of brain tumour.  He confirmed…the risks were very high indeed, the brain tumour had grown too big for fractionated radiotherapy and surgery through the old wound of some 20 + years ago was the only option. We found Mr Shoakazemi to be extremely approachable, professional, calm, warm & informative.  I feel incredibly lucky to have had the faith on a date said to be the unluckiest day in the yearly calendar …Friday 13th October to undergo surgery with such a gifted neurosurgeon. I am (thankfully to Mr Shoakazemi) walking straight, talking straight & feeling fully blessed.
