I visited Dr Shoakazemi for a skull base meningioma. He was extremely understanding of my anxiety and worries, and explained the route forward. I followed up with an email of worries, and he called me back ASAP and helped calm my nerves. I would not hesitate to recommend him for similar needs.
Many thanks for your review.

Mr Shoakazemi has been a shining light in a dark Glioblastoma storm for my family and I. When there were no other desired treatment options on the table for my father (who did not want to undergo Chemotherapy) he sought quality of life. Mr Shoakazemi has greatly improved his quality of life by performing excellent surgery to reduce symptoms and mentally through clear and respectful communication. Mr Shoakazemi has gone above and beyond to try to help us by picking up the phone himself to explain results/treatment and even make appointments. He has been accessible to us when we have concerns and questions and has tried to expedite treatment when a Covid cloud of closed hospitals was looming. Best of all, Mr Shoakazemi has treated my father like an equal and like a human being which was not the case with other consultants.
Many thanks for your very kind review.

From my first consultation with Mr Shoakazemi, I knew immediately that I had made the correct choice in deciding my consultant who would be my guide through a very difficult time. He took the time to understand me and my personal circumstances, explaining things to me in as basic a way possible considering the complicated nature of my diagnosis. I knew on that first call that I would have absolute faith in him performing my craniotomy - bearing in mind this meeting was via video, not even face to face - his offering of a personal contact number too shows me his level of decoration and aftercare is a totally different level to other consultants. Reassuring, calm, totally unflappable, efficient, highly skilled and knowledgable. I couldn’t speak higher of this gentleman. I consider him to have saved my life.
