Mr Ahmed Ibrahim is described as professional, clear, and friendly in his patient interactions. Patients praise his expertise in spinal surgery, specifically for endoscopic lumbar discectomy, minimally invasive keyhole spinal decompression, and cervical spine surgery, often leading to quick recovery and significant pain relief. He is also commended for detailed explanations, providing confidence and reassurance throughout treatment, with his team facilitating excellent pre- and post-operative care. Patients frequently report positive outcomes regarding slipped disc problems, with significant improvements in lower back pain and overall mobility.
Mr Ibrahim was professional, patient, kind, and understanding from the first day we discussed my injury until after the spinal fusion. He explained, using images, where the problems were, presented me with treatment options, respected my opinions, answered numerous questions, and recommended the type of procedure. I never felt rushed and am appreciative of his follow-up phone calls during the early recovery days. His knowledge and leadership instilled full confidence and faith in me, reduced my stress levels and ensured successful recovery. I recommend him without any hesitation.
My previous surgeon referred me to Mr Ibrahim for an urgent endoscopic lumbar discectomy. I was in a really bad way before my surgery, with extreme pain and loss of movement in my foot and leg because of a prolapsed disc. I was referred to Mr Ibrahim on the Monday evening, he saw me Tuesday evening and operated on the Thursday…despite being fully booked for three weeks. Amira and Mr Ibrahim moved mountains to quickly fit me in, which was much appreciated given my situation. I woke up from surgery having recovered movement in my leg and foot and finally out of pain. It was nothing short of a miracle and I felt the most momentous sense of relief. Aside from some stiffness and needing a crutch, my recovery from surgery was quick and comparatively painless. I was off the crutch in ten days and even managed to go on holiday two weeks after. I’ve finally started my longer term journey to recovery and am looking forward to eventually being able to get back to doing the activities I love thanks to the surgery. I never felt nervous or unsure about the process thanks to the both of them and the wonderful staff at the London Clinic. I’m just so thrilled, thank you so much!
If you find yourself in the unfortunate position of having herniated a disc, you would do very well to consult Mr Ibrahim. Having reviewed my case, he presented me with options to treat a severely compressed nerve, including ultra minimally invasive surgery. Despite some trepidation, I opted for the operation, as this offered my sciatic nerve the best chance of a full recovery. I need not have worried about the surgery. Mr Ibrahim and his team were superb — his calm assurance a clear reflection of the countless times he has performed this procedure. After the operation I was back on my feet within a couple of hours. In the three weeks since, I have had minimal pain and the small wound on my back has healed well. Throughout, Mr Ibrahim has been kind, patient and generous with his time, answering numerous questions with care and professionalism. I have now started physiotherapy, and I am grateful to Mr Ibrahim for putting me in the best possible position for a full recovery.
I would like to share my experience and express my sincere thanks to Dr Ahmed Ibrahim for the excellent care I received. I had been struggling with significant back and leg pain due to an L3/L4 disc problem, where a disc was compressing on a nerve, which severely affected my mobility and daily life. During my consultation, Dr Ibrahim clearly explained my condition and the treatment options in a way that was easy to understand. He was professional, friendly, and very approachable, and took the time to answer all my questions, which really helped put my mind at ease. It is also worth mentioning that I had previously undergone open spinal surgery for a different area of my spine (L4/L5), which was carried out at a different hospital under a different consultant. That procedure was also successful, however the recovery period was considerably longer and more demanding. Because of that experience, I was understandably quite concerned about the possibility of needing another open operation. Dr Ibrahim reassured me and explained his experience with minimally invasive keyhole spinal surgery, and how suitable it was in my case. I proceeded with a keyhole spinal procedure (L3/L4 decompression), and I am very glad I did. Compared to my previous open surgery, I found this approach much more reassuring and the recovery significantly smoother, with reduced discomfort and a quicker return to mobility. I also felt it carried less overall risk of complications and made the whole recovery process much easier to manage. The operation itself was a success. I was able to stand and walk sho...

Thank you for your kind words. I agree, Amira does a superb job.. I am glad we were able to help.
I had a horrible back pain that was getting worse after 7months. Mr Ibrahim chose to action quickly and arranged MRI to find the root cause of the pain. And that’s when I was diagnosed with herniated disc.
