Mr Panos Liantis is a renowned Consultant Spinal Surgeon with HCA Healthcare at London Bridge Hospital, and also at the independent charitable hospital, The London Clinic. He also works as the Spine Fellowship Director at Guy's and St Thomas' Foundation Trust. Mr Liantis treats clients with neck and low back pain, sciatica, spinal deformities, spondylolisthesis, infections, disc protrusions, trauma, and tumours. He has extensive experience in all types of spinal surgery, with a particular interest in minimally invasive surgery (TLIF, ALIF, XLIF, OLIF), navigated spinal surgery, robotic spinal surgery, deformity correction, spinal injections for pain management, kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty for osteoporosis, decompressions, and discectomies.
Mr Liantis completed dual fellowships in orthopaedics and neurosurgical spine surgery at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital, Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital, and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery at UCLH. He has a PhD in Orthopaedics and a Bachelor's Degree in Education. He is also a member of the teaching panel at King's College Medical School.

I came to see Mr. Liantis with a lower back pain and had an excellent experience with him. He has a friendly and calming manner. He explains things methodically and is generous with his time. As a patient you feel like you are in save hands with Mr. Liantis. My MRI results did not show anything of a concern but it was reassuring to hear a detailed explanation from Mr. Liantis and look at the scan together. I would recommend this doctor.

Mr Liantis has been extremely keen to listen and understand my view and personal experience of my issue and extremely thorough and professional in explaining and making certain i understand the situation, its causes and the different treatment options i had. And all these in a very friendly and empathetic manner making feel safe and reassured at all times.

After a stressful back injury Mr Liantis has looked after me brilliantly from diagnosis to recovery. He is very knowledgable and informative and always makes time to answer my (many!) questions. He is very generous with his time and never rushes an appointment, even when late on an evening. He is also so warm, charismatic and funny that it turns a medical appointment into a pleasant experience! He has a great bedside manner. I can get nervous about dr appointments and I’m so glad I close Mr Liantis as my consultant. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone suffering from back pain.
