Mr Ramesh Nadarajah

Mr Ramesh Nadarajah is an Adult and Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Spinal Surgery. The focus of his work is to improve the diagnosis, management and long-term outcome for patients with spinal disorders. He strives to provide the best care possible for all patients, regardless of age. He is skilled in a wide range of treatments, such as Brachial Plexus Surgery, Cervical Discectomy, Cervical Spine Surgery, Epidural for back pain, Lumbar Laminectomy, Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgery, Scoliosis Surgery, Lumbar Microdiscectomy and Anterolateral Foraminotomy.

After graduating from the University of London with his primary medical qualification, Mr Nadarajah trained on the South East Thames Orthopaedic Rotation. Subsequently, he spent four years training on spinal fellowships in the UK, and then went on advanced visiting fellowships in France, Austria, Turkey and Japan where he gained specialist training in minimally invasive surgery, spinal tumour surgery and paediatric deformity.

Mr Nadarajah is also highly active in training and teaching undergraduate students and postgraduate doctors, being a faculty member of several national spinal courses. He has published numerous times in peer reviewed medical journals, as well as having been an invited speaker at prominent national and international meetings and conferences. He also has numerous professional memberships and affiliations, including the British Medical Association, British Scoliosis Society, British Orthopaedic Association, British Association of Spinal Surgeons and the Medical Protection Society.
