I cannot praise Professor Winter highly enough. He is an excellent ENT surgeon with a warm and reassuring manner. I felt supported through every stage of my treatment from initial assessment, through surgery, to final review. I had been unwell for some time before finally seeking help privately and, following surgery, I now feel so much better. The procedure I had was a FESS for a blocked and infected sinus. I would have no hesitation recommending Professor Winter. He is an outstanding doctor and a safe pair of hands.

I know Mr Gibbins for a while now, but not as a patient, until yesterday when I have had my initial consultation. After a series of heavy nose bleeding and lots of worries which came with these episodes, I have contacted his secretary, Sharon, who managed to book me in in a couple of minutes. The lever of professionalism offered by his secretary was second to none and the high expectations I had were more than exceeded. Mr Gibbins answered all my questions very clear, had a warm approach towards my problem and offered a reassurance and a treatment plan during the appointment - professional and very on point. His level of expertise and accuracy, made me feel very comfortable and washed away all my worries. I would personally recommend him to any person who is struggling with any ENT problem. I was extremely nervous before I saw Mr. Modayil for the first time, but he put me at ease and was very clear when it came to explaining what needed to happen next. At my second consultation, he was equally reassuring and clearly understood my stress levels and the need to address the problem quickly. He explained my test results and the procedure I needed and took great care to manage other health issues that might have affected a good outcome. The procedure happened exactly as he had described and my follow-up appointment was again reassuring and informative. I had no adverse effects from surgery and can't thank him enough for all he did. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family with ENT problems.

Fantastic and thorough care

I can honestly say, Mr. Stephen Derbyshire has hands of gold!!! He did a wonderful job for me. I feel so blessed to know him and have Stephen as my doctor. He explained everything to me in a very clear manner. He was also kind, caring and friendly. All of the staff were great – they were helpful and kind. I am so glad I chose Mount Alvernia hospital and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Miss Cheang listened to my vocal issues and asked many questions, which was so much more than my own Dr did, and immediately referred me to a speech therapist. The speech therapy has started, and I can now be heard when I speak, the whole process was quick and easy. Very happy with my experience.
