Professor Datta is highly professional, he immediately puts on at ease with his warm and reassuring manner. It’s refreshing not to feel ‘less than’ because of obesity as so often happens when interacting with health professionals. I found Dr Griguer to be very approachable and empathetic as well as professional. She listened carefully, ensuring she answered all my questions (even though some might have been silly). She explained, in non-medical terms, all the tests that would be done and was as thorough and clear in explaining the results, which came through very quickly. All suggested documents, nutrition plan etc were received speedily by email.

I had a brilliant consultation with Dr Mbagaya. He gave me plenty of his time and took his time to explain a complex medical condition. I feel heard and supported. I would highly recommend him.

Pleasant and helpful with good understanding

Dr Sarev was exceptionally helpful, he did not rush me at all and answered my many probing questions to help me understand my problem. He drew diagrams to explain further, offering detailed explanations. His explanations really helped me understand what was happening and why. I was very impressed at his helpful approach to ensuring I understood what was happening.

AS a doctor myself, it is always a little strange being the patient. However, Prof Leeson was an obvious choice based upon hid expertise. He listened to my history and symptoms, asked me what I wanted to achieve, arranged investigations there and then, and explained how we should and should not proceed. It was clear and any questions were answered. This was a very good consultation. I have also had follow up visits, including one urgent one which we slotted into his tight schedule.
