I was recommended Mrs Khaja from a previous consultant I had had a number of years ago. I had a prolapse for about 4 years. I was told pelvic exercises wouldn’t alleviate the problem. So I saw Mrs Khaja in the March of this year. She was very understanding and talked me though the various options available to me. I chose to have a vaginal hysterectomy which meant an overnight stay and a quicker recovery as I had a wedding to attend at the end of August. The operation went really well and Mrs Khaja came to see me in the morning. She was really happy with how the hysterectomy went and she was more than happy to answer the questions I had. I have now been to my 6 week check up which went really well. My experience of this whole process is of a high standard of care by Mrs Khaja and I would highly recommend her to any woman who is going through the choosing of consultants from a long list of names.

Where can I start-my case was transferred from Kettering General Hospital to ROH Birmingham with JS as my new consultant. I was in a really low place in my life with the possibility of loosing my leg. Jonathan was a revelation- he not only gave me hope but saved the leg, and my sanity, and gave me confidence in the NHS again. He is exceptional. A wonderful human being. Such a talented surgeon who I feel lucky to have met.
