After moving from BCH, where I had been a patient since the age of 4, I was nervous and concerned that the 'Adult hospital' wouldn't fully understand my history (it's been complicated) yet I shouldn't have worried at all ! Meeting with Dr Petal, I'm beyond happy that my heart health is in safe hands. Dr Patel puts me at ease, gives me all the information I need and has already made a huge difference to my heart function by changing my medication. He has settled my mind regarding my future. I appreciate that he speaks to me on the level, in a language I can understand; he explains things to me In such an accessible way. And I'm grateful for this and I feel secure in the knowledge that if I need help, I will be well looked after - only a phone call away. Dr Patel has given me peace of mind... Thank you Dr Patel!

Dr Grosser was professional in all our meetings. He was willing to take time to explain things clearly and give appropriate additional resources for my own learning. His personalized advice for my procedures was much appreciated. I was very reassured by his manner and management of my condition which reduced my anxiety considerably. At initial consultation I was advised that eventually I could be medication free if the newly introduced medication worked as there was a procedure that I was a good candidate for. When I returned for second consultation I was no longer eligible for the procedure because the medication had worked!! I am signed off on more medication than I was on before with a horrible cough/congestion.

Dr Balerdi is very thorough and reassuring. He arranged for various tests etc. He is easy to talk to and has a very friendly bedside manner which quickly puts you at ease.
