There was just one incident that marred my visit. When I arrived - after a long 3 1/2 hour drive from East Gippsland - I had expected to find a cafe nearby to have a late breakfast. (I had deliberately arrived 45 mins early.) I asked one of the receptionists if there was somewhere I could get something to eat. Her response was polite but, unfortunately, no food was to be found close by, so some locals I spoke to outside the clinic guided me to a nice cafe a 5 minute drive away. When I returned after a very rushed breakfast, and intending to pay a quick visit to the clinic facilities before my appointment, I was a bit shocked to see the sign that told me there were no toilet facilities in the clinic - not at all what I expected. So I said to the receptionist "You could have told me there were no facilities available here. I could have gone at the cafe". Admittedly I could have phrased my comments better but I was taken by surprise and also felt bad that I would be late for my appt as I now needed to find out where the toilets were. The receptionist could also have replied along the lines of "Oh, don't worry, the toilets aren't far away." Instead she let me have it; told me quite sternly that she could only be expected to advise me there were no toilet facilities if I had told her previously that I needed to "go". This person knew I'd had a very long drive. I think her irate response was rude and unkind under the circumstances. Aside from that, and a wait of about 30 mins for my first procedure (I needn't have rushed my breakfast), my visit was perfectly fine and the rest of team really lovely.

Our dr was late but that’s ok. We get the time sensitivity and the amount of appts you have to fit in. But just wanted to share that we don’t find some of the receptionist staff that welcoming for our last visit, and I recommended a friend fertility north in the last month and she told me she rang two fertility practices and ended up going with the other one because they were far friendlier and welcoming. I just felt disappointed because I think your practice is really excellent but in regards to first impressions sometimes it misses the mark a little bit. I know generally as clientele we are often stressed and hormonal and probably tricky to deal with but that prob makes it even more important because it is a financially and emotionally huge investment to choose a fertility clinic and it would be nice to feel nurtured all the way through. To my friend the abrupt/ business like person she spoke to, that was the impression she now holds of fn which is a real shame.

Originally with a different OB, I had a chance encounter with Dr James over halfway through my pregnancy and was so impressed with his calm and caring nature that I switched over to him for the remainder of my pregnancy. I couldn’t recommend Dr James and his team more highly, including Chris and Kim at reception who were always warm, welcoming, and helpful. Dr James took the time to understand my idea of a dream birth and explained the pros and cons of what I was thinking. I trusted his guidance completely, and even when things didn’t go exactly the way I’d hoped during birth, my mind was instantly at ease when he entered the birthing suite. I’ll always be grateful for his role in the safe delivery of our beautiful daughter. If you want an OB that is not only a master of their craft but also an all round great human, look no further.

I had an incredible experience with Dr. Kent and his team. His service, care, and surgical skills were absolutely top-notch. I had a large fibroid, and thanks to his expertise, he made a quick and confident decision to perform a C-section rather than making a horizontal incision. I truly felt I was in the hands of a highly skilled technician. His team was amazing throughout the entire process, and the follow-up care was thorough and reassuring. Dr Alice is a dream OBGYN. She is so calming and charismatic. She helped me feel prepared and heard in both my pregnancies and did everything she could to make sure both my baby boys and I were safe and sound. I adore having her on my care team. Even though we’ve decided that two kids is perfect for our family… getting to see Dr Alice again is almost tempting enough to go back for a third. She’s the best. She was also so gentle with my IUD insertion. I honestly didn’t feel anything! What a super star.

He presented options for treatment and post op recovery which helped me to feel involved and empowered in choosing the strategy, instead of being just a package on a conveyor belt. Post operation follow up was excellent and Roshan ensured I had the right support throughout the healing process. Highly recommended.

Krishna explained the outcome of the operation on the heart that was easy to understand. He gave me lots of comfort on the status of my heart and the healing process …. what activities I can do and what to avoid. Thrilled that I could return to playing golf a lot quicker than the booklet indicated because of the technique he used on my chest bone. Thanks Krishna

I had a Hiatus Hernia Repair and I couldn’t walk more not be happier. Hamish was excellent and his theatre team were great. Cabrini Hospital are so caring and attentive. Recovery has been very good and I put it down to the skill of the surgeon. I no longer have any symptoms of acid reflux and I’m off all medication. Would highly recommend Hamish Shilton.

Lovely staff, can't really fault the experience. To make it easier for the reception staff you could note to new patients that there are steps at the practice entrance? They had to help me with the pram and it was quite awkward. If I'd known I would have just used the carrier instead and saved them some trouble. Not a big issue, just an idea!

Had a good meeting with the doctor and have since had a procedure on my ankle. I'm pleased with the result and the speed of recovery. The excision of the soft tissue ankle lump (angioleiomyoma) has eliminated the regular, significant pain that I was experiencing. Overall it has been well handled with a very good outcome.
