I have been a patient of Dr Dan Krishnan's for over 3 years, initially at his rooms at Sydney Private Hospital Ashfield. He has now moved to his own practice at Inner West Women’s and Children. Finding Dr Dan has been a revelation as I have found a specialist who is genuinely warm, empathetic, caring, and highly knowledgeable. From my first appointment I felt truly listened to. My pain and experience wasn't dismissed. I finally felt heard. I have never felt rushed and our appointments are so relaxed. Over the past few years I have had investigative and surgical procedures performed by him in relation to endo and adenomyosis. My stage 4 endometriosis surgery could not have gone better and he came to visit me early the following morning post surgery and chatted to me at my bedside and showed me video of my surgery on his ipad (at my special request!). My condition progressed requiring a total hysterectomy which Dr Dan performed with his team of passionate and skilled professionals. He was in constant contact with me after the surgery checking in with my pain and comfort levels. Everything is clearly explained and all treatment options were presented to me stating the pros and cons of each and taking my life stage and preferences into consideration. Dr Dan only deals with gyno issues - no obstetrics so you aren't going to be delayed like the ob/gyn specialists that are off delivering babies and leave you waiting at their practice for hours. I did feel initial reluctance seeing a male gynecologist, but this was unfounded. Dr Dan has a way of making you feel immediately comfortable and is very personable. The administration staff - Francine and Amisha are outstanding. Always friendly, understanding, and highly skilled at their jobs and go out of their way to be flexible to your needs. The practice is located in Dulwich Hill on the southern border of Ashfield. There is a lot of free parking available around Yeo Park. There is an accessible toilet within the practice. Buzz at the door to gain entry to the reception area.

I saw Dr Karen for my first pregnancy, and from the very first consultation I truly felt as though I was in good hands as she immediately put me at ease with her calm, reassuring manner and clear communication. Throughout my pregnancy, she was always available to answer any questions or concerns I had. On the occasions when I was worried, she often arranged to see or speak to me on the same day, which gave me peace of mind. She communicates exceptionally well, always providing prompt updates on any results and keeping me fully informed every step of the way. Dr Karen is a highly skilled doctor who performed a procedure for me during my pregnancy as well as my C-section both of which went well. I felt completely confident in her expertise and care. At every appointment, I left her office feeling well informed and equipped with all the information I needed to make informed decisions about my care. She creates such a comfortable and welcoming environment in her office, and I always felt like I could ask her anything without hesitation. I would absolutely recommend Dr Karen to anyone seeking compassionate and expert obstetric care, and I will definitely return to her if I am fortunate enough to have a second child.

The interaction from start to finish was amazing. The young lady with the long hair was instrumental in fitting us in on short notice to have the urgent imaging that the doctor requested done that day. Upon arrival all staff were extremely busy but attended to patients as quickly as possible despite it been meal break time. We moved through the process with ease and without complication. All staff that attended my procedure were extremely professional courtesy and accommodating the care provided was exceptional. As a self paying customer I would expect an invoice upfront with costs to be paid as an estimate is not a tax invoice. The estimate must be paid to go ahead with procedures in my personal opinion this is not how a business runs and believe this should be revised for better customer services. I have yet to receive a break down of my hospital costs for the amount paid.
