Dr Gong and his team were professional, empathetic and went the extra mile, from when I first booked my initial consult through to the aftercare I received post-surgery. I felt my needs were listened to and understood, and was provided with opportunities to ask questions at every step. Dr Gong took the time to thoroughly describe my condition so I understood what was happening and why. He then explained the proposed surgery, risks and expected outcomes. Upon admission I was again asked if I had any questions or concerns around my upcoming procedure. After surgery, Dr Gong and his registrar explained how the surgery had went, including that he had removed a significant amount of internal adhesions/scar tissue during the surgery. My laparoscopic wounds healed up without any complications or infection. When I had questions around some concerning symptoms after my follow-up appointment, these were responded to, and Dr Gong sent me for was additional bloodwork to check if anything else needed to be done. I appreciate being referred to Dr Gong for gallbladder removal surgery. I highly recommend his patient-centred approach to care and am really pleased with my care and the outcome.

My healing journey began in late 2024 following gallbladder removal surgery. Unfortunately, my body rejected the sutures used, which resulted in three additional surgeries over an extended period lasting until April 2026. Throughout this challenging time, I saw Dr Reza regularly, and the care he provided was truly exceptional. Dr Reza was always accessible and accommodating. I was consistently offered appointments on the same day or the following day after contacting his office. He is honest, compassionate, and up front. Having a very low pain tolerance, I deeply appreciate the care he took in considering this when discussing treatment options. During my most recent surgery, I was treated with a VAC machine and required follow up care with a wound specialist at community health twice a week for six weeks. Dr Reza remained closely involved throughout this process, receiving regular updates and personally maintaining communication with the wound specialist. I am also extremely grateful to Charlotte, who managed my appointments, coordinated out‑of‑hospital care, and maintained detailed records throughout my healing journey.

I can’t overstate how pleasant it is to deal with Cardiologist Dr Trivedi. After previous dismissive and rather unpleasant experiences with Cardiologists in the past, I felt that Dr Trivedi had both excellent knowledge and treated me like a person and listened to my points without any disrespect. I really appreciate how accommodating they are with my preferences of appointment venues. I live in a regional area and work full time. Having appointments closer to work and home makes it easier to get to them. The staff are just super friendly personally and over the phone. Dr Swati is also so good to have. She's very professional but not "scary" professional.

Sending an operative summary almost straight away, in case it's needed by other medical staff, is an excellent idea. But I don't think it's appropriate for Doctify to send a survey and ads from Partners on the first post-surgical day, when the patient is up to the eyeballs on Oxycodone.
