I had previously had a partial knee arthroplasty and this time, because of arthritis, needed a full knee replacement. I researched and found what I believed to be an exceptionally talented and dedicated professional in Dr Tulloch with extraordinary experience in surgical practice, including using the Mako Robotic system which I understood, because of its accuracy, avails a speedier recovery, of course dependent on the patient's condition and fitness. Other factors in my decision were his preponderance for research, teaching and training of peers, the latter point convinced me of my decision. And I was not disappointed. Dr Tulloch is exceptionally caring, giving time to explain intricate procedures and putting up with mundane "run-of-the-mill" questions I had over the course of our pre & post op consultations. I was in hospital for four days for which he followed up every second day to assure me of the success of the procedure and arranging for the recovery support needed through associate GP's and in-home rehabilitation. After six weeks I dropped the morphine pain killers and was able to drive again, after 8 weeks was walking without pain, and began pedalling with an inhouse exercise bike and hopefully heading back to my mountain bike cycling by week twelve! I mentioned to Dr Tulloch that I am eternally grateful and highly recommend him to anyone needing any orthopaedic surgery.

We have been using FertNorth for close to 5 now. Some appointments we leave positively encouraged and some less so but have found we are consistently, probably every visit given wrong information which we then have to spend a considerable amount of our own time to rectify. I.e ringing around to find places that provide specific blood tests, forms not signed by doctors, wrong test requested, wrong information that generally significantly prolongs our IVF process wasting months we had planned for the process of becoming pregnant. We have faced a lack of understanding and awareness surrounding being a sam sex couple. We found that the nurses are by far the most reliable and knowledgeable and most of our issues faced have stemmed from Admin staff not having the correct information but primarily the specialist giving us wrong information, forgetting vitals steps in the process or giving us contradictory Information since the advice given in the previous visit. We leave feeling confused and deflated every visit.

Mr. Craig Timms and his wife, Pauline, have been exceptionally helpful. I underwent a major spine surgery on my L2-L3 vertebrae, which included the fusion of rods and screws to provide support to my back. The entire surgical procedure was a success, and my family received constant reassurance throughout the process. Right from the outset, Dr. Timms provided a comprehensive and detailed explanation of the entire procedure to both my wife and me. Moreover, he personally met my wife immediately after the surgery and ensured that she was well-informed about the successful outcome. Dr. Timms can truly be described as a lifesaver, an angel in human form. It's impossible to overstate just how skilled and proficient he is in his field. His expertise is unquestionable, and he consistently demonstrates a deep understanding of his work.

Efficient but lacking attention to detail. Gluten free sandwiches prepared at a local cafe aren't acceptable for celiacs. Nurse said they'd be safe because they were packaged in a wrapper, which ignores preparation and cross contamination concerns. Disappointing level of care for an endoscopy centre that must cater to celiacs fairly frequently. MWEC was advised through my doctor in advance of my reaction to adhesives but on the day I was told they only had 2 options available and "they'd have to use something". Now I have an allergic contact dermatitis reaction. Please get an alternative to 3M adhesives that contain colophony, it's a common irritant.

I cannot recommend Dr. Hamilton highly enough. I saw him today regarding a hernia repair, and I left the appointment feeling incredibly reassured. He took the time to walk me through every single step of the surgery in great detail. What impressed me most was his attentiveness. When I mentioned my connective tissue disorder, he immediately pivoted to explain how that would factor into each stage of the procedure and recovery. He is articulate, professional, and quite frankly, just a lovely human being. I am so grateful to have been referred to him.

I had to wait over 6 hours for my procedure. They let taking people through before me who had been waiting less time than me. My sister called to check on where I was because my phone was flat and they said they checked on me and I was fine, except no one had checked on me. When I raised concerns about the wait time and lack of communication, I felt the theatre nurse was patronising towards me. It showed really poor patient care.
