Dr Joel Rabindran

I first met Joel in holding bay during an emergency visit at box hill. I had extreme pain and had no idea why. Turns out my appendix needed removal. Joel was sooo lovely when I met him and his anesthetist. I honestly felt a state of calm in his tone and presence. I’m a nurse myself so I feel I can gauge medical professionals pretty well. He explained all possible outcomes and also was honest that he won’t know exactly what’s happening until I’m in theatre. Post surgery he came to the bedside and showed me a picture of what my appendix looked like. He visited daily until discharge to check on me. I cannot fault Joel, he’s amazing and I’m grateful to have met him despite the circumstances. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dr Joel Rabindran played a major role in my bariatric surgery and successfully completed my gastric bypass. From the beginning of my journey, Dr Rabindran was professional, compassionate, and highly reassuring. His calm and confident approach gave me complete trust in the care I was receiving, and I always felt I was in exceptionally capable hands. Now, 12 months on and having lost over 60kg, I can genuinely say this surgery has changed and very likely extended my life.
