During his training he developed his expertise in complex gynaecological pelvic surgery and advanced laparoscopic procedures, including robotic surgery.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Kuswanto is a Proctor for the da Vinci Robotic System in Australia where he guides and mentors fellow gynaecologists in adopting this innovative technique into their clinical practices. He is also a trainer for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, as well as a Tutor and Examiner at the University of Melbourne and Monash University.

Highly recommend Dr Kuswanto. Excellent bedside manner, explains everything well and you don’t feel like you are getting rushed through the appointments. I had Robotic Hysterectomy, my recovery has been fantastic. Well worth the 3hr drive to Melbourne! Clare is absolutely brilliant and very helpful.
