Dr Rashida Hakeem

Dr. Rashida Hakeem is an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 18 years of experience in women’s health currently practicing at Fertility North within Joondalup Private Hospital. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-focused care, with special interests in fertility, gynaecology, and minimally invasive surgery. Currently, she is completing her Master’s in Reproductive Medicine, further expanding her expertise in reproductive health and fertility management.

Dr. Hakeem completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in Mumbai India, followed by postgraduate specialist training at KEM Hospital, Mumbai, earning multiple diplomas in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She later relocated to Australia, working across Western Australia, Tasmania, and New South Wales, and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) in 2023.

She has undertaken advanced training in hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery and colposcopy allowing her to provide comprehensive and minimally invasive treatment options for women. Her araes of special interest are fertility treatment, superficial endometriosis, fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, postmenopausal bleeidng and colposcopy for abnormal cervical screens 

Fluent in English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, and Urdu, Dr. Hakeem is passionate about delivering high-quality, culturally sensitive care to women from diverse backgrounds. Outside of medicine, she enjoys painting, crafting, cooking, and spending time with her family.
