She later relocated to Australia, working across Western Australia, Tasmania, and New South Wales, and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) in 2023.
She has undertaken advanced training in hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery and colposcopy allowing her to provide comprehensive and minimally invasive treatment options for women. Her araes of special interest are fertility treatment, superficial endometriosis, fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, postmenopausal bleeidng and colposcopy for abnormal cervical screens
Fluent in English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, and Urdu, Dr. Hakeem is passionate about delivering high-quality, culturally sensitive care to women from diverse backgrounds. Outside of medicine, she enjoys painting, crafting, cooking, and spending time with her family.
