​This is more of a Community Service Announcement than a review. If you're stressed, have sinus problems, and/or suffer from a tight neck, shoulders, or back, you really should book an appointment with Dr. Amelia Flynn. ​I am affected by all those, and to be honest, Dr. Amelia has been able to give me more sinus/ear pressure relief than months of medication and recent surgery were able to achieve. And ​In the same appointment, through gentle manipulation and some dry needling (which I could barely feel, but Dr. Amelia visually noticed twitching and release before I did), she sorted out all the other ailments. ​About 20 minutes after my session with Amelia, my ears, sinuses, and throat completely drained and cleared. ​For someone with chronic conditions, getting this sort of immediate benefit is like having a central nervous system reboot. ​When you start getting to an age where you're having more Doctor catch-ups than friend catch-ups, Im very glad I found a skilled professional like Dr. Amelia to add to my ever expanding care team list.

Reception staff were great, polite and helpful. Building is not accessible for prams or wheelchairs which is pretty alarming for a paediatric clinic. Reception staff were often having to lift prams up and down, they did a great job but it’s very inconvenient. On this day our appointment was just over 25 minutes late with no acknowledgement or apology of it being late by the doctor, which I find rude. Other experience have been online and with another specialist which I can’t fault. Appointment wait times aren’t to long which is great.

Always friendly staff. Initial checks usually completed in a timely manner, however there is often a longer wait to see the specialist themselves. (More than enough time to maximise action of those eye dilation drops) I actually don’t mind the wait, as when you do see the Dr you don’t feel rushed, and they take the time to fully explain everything, and answer any questions. That focus on service and care in the appointment makes up for any extra waiting time.

Mr Liang Low

General Surgeon

Mr Low (Liang) is a true gentleman, who is very approachable and easy going. Most of all I have complete confidence in his knowledge, experience and his surgical skill.. My own experience of Hernia surgery I would rate as “First Class”. I was given plenty of information to put me at ease, and the hospital experience was altogether painless and also post-op my recovery has been fast, it’s great to be back to normal. Life changing. Dr Malcolm Godfrey

Dr Godfrey and his lovely team have guided me through two pregnancies and also losses. He is always calm, knowledgeable, and I believe the best at what he does. I always felt safe and cared for. I chose Dr Godfrey because I wanted a skilled surgeon and someone who was experienced in all areas of fertility and obstetrics. He is supported by a lonely administration team and midwife. Nothing was ever too much trouble and no question too silly.

Wait time was minimal. Procedure went well, although I did wait, what I thought was, a long time motionless which was very irritating for my tennis elbow which I am suffering with at the moment. I believe there was an unforeseen event which delayed my procedure, which I fully understand needed to be attended to. The lovely staff did come back a couple of tlmes to check on me which I appreciated

The staff and doctors were so friendly and happy to answer any questions and never made me feel like I was just another number. The cleanliness was next level and having been admitted to a few different hospitals lately I have to say not any of the others came close to the cleanliness at Maryvale Private Hospital.

I always find the staff at the Glen Endoscopy Centre friendly, professional and very efficient. Over my several visits to the centre, this has been my consistent experience. The procedures go smoothly and in a timely. The specialists are very helpful before and after the procedures and the staff are also. I experienced chronic abdominal pain. Dr Jimmy decided to do a colonoscopy and endoscopy. These procedures are embarrassing but Dr Jimmy was professional and reassuring in his approach, I felt comfortable and confident in his care. Afterwards Dr Jimmy spoke to me about the results. He was respectful and kind. I think he is one of the best not only in his field also in his profession.

Had a cholecystectomy early last week. Another surgeon was initially scheduled, but as upper gastrointestinal is Dr Niruben’s specialty, he was recommended to take the op. From first contact Dr Niruben was professional and personable. Op went well and recovery is progressing well. Follow up appt scheduled for Jan with Dr Niruben. Can highly recommend.

Appoints we’re running behind schedule but the doctor was apologetic and in turn, thorough with my appointment. My condition and all options were clearly explained and follow up treatments planned and booked in.

Unfortunately didn't hear anything until my Dr rang on the 20th November asking why I hadn't heard from them. Apart from that very satisfied with the team on the day. Thank you.
