Dr Kitchen is the consummate professional as a surgeon. The manner that he communicated with me regarding all facets of upcoming surgery he had to perform (my second complete knee replacement in seven weeks) was second to none. Dr Kitchen again provided me with the detailed information of what was required pre operation and post operation in layman’s terms ensuring it was fully understood and easily complied with. His friendly manner relieved any anxiety regarding the operation (which was extremely complicated due to the degeneration of the knee joint and surrounding bones) making it a bearable (can’t say enjoyable) experience. I am in the age group now where a number of my associates/friends are heading towards having knee replacements, and I would not hesitate recommending Dr Davi Kitchen as their surgeon.

I left my appointment feeling extremely dismissed and unheard. No plan was put in place to find the root cause of the issue, seemingly was really only interested in suppression of symptoms with steroids and moving on despite my communication about concerns of why symptoms occured in the first place. After seeing multiple other caring and perplexed doctors about my symptoms I was referred to Dr Cornish on the promise I was seeing one of the most capable people in the field. I did not receive treatment or a care plan that reflected this unfortunately. Everyone has bad days, but this experience has led to me delaying my next visit out of sheer anxiety and almost not wanting to receive medical care in the future for my symptoms.

Unfortunately my procedure took place at Latrobe hospital instead of Maryvale due to renovations at Maryvale. This meant difficulties with parking on arrival and a long wait sitting in a waiting room where the air conditioning was very cold. I was very cold. My appointment time was 12.30 but I waited sitting in the waiting room until 2.45 before being called for my procedure. Not nearly as pleasant an experience as in December at Maryvale for the same procedure. Also the nurse had difficulty disconnecting the cannula which has left me with a badly bruised wrist still evident 10 days later. The oral prep prior to the colonoscopy was so much better than the drink which I found nauseous.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Alyousif From start to finish of my egg freezing process, he was the kindest, most gentle, and genuinely caring doctor I’ve ever met. He has so many years of experience, and it shows in every step — I felt completely safe and confident under his care. He took the time to explain everything clearly, always checked in on how I was feeling, and treated me with compassion and respect. It’s rare to find someone who combines incredible medical expertise with such warmth and empathy. I recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone considering egg freezing or fertility treatment. Truly an amazing doctor and human being.

I can’t rate Professor Jo Rimmer more highly, she has changed my life! I was without taste and smell and had more than 20 years of blocked sinuses, runny nose and sleep apnoea. Since my operation 7 months ago I‘m now able to taste really well, my sense of smell has returned to around 70 percent, and I’ve done away with the compressor beside my bed and the “romantic” face mask. I now breath freely through my nose to sleep, with my mouth closed and don’t snore at all. Thank you, Professor Jo Rimmer, you’ve changed mine and my family’s lives.

Proff Hensman it brilliant & i am sorry to see him go but he deserves family time after all the time & help he has given to all of his clients. I had a really good experience with Dr Gray. He was kind and easy to talk to, and explained everything in a way that actually made sense, which really helped me feel comfortable going into surgery. Everything also moved pretty quickly, which I appreciated. I had a few issues come up with insurance, but he and his team sorted it out without me having to stress about it. Overall, I felt really well looked after and supported the whole way through. I’m very grateful and would definitely recommend him.

The doctor himself told me he was running late for our appointment which I thought was very nice, it meant he knew I was there and that my time also is valuable. I also thought that having a representative from Kieser in the consultation was most beneficial for all parties. Dr Barmare was congenial and very welcoming and he put me at ease and listened to my future plans and my treatment is mindful of those future plans and challenges.

Was impressed with the efficiency of the place, and the knowledge and approachability of the Doctor. He re-assured me during a difficult diagnosis of AF and offered to manage the correspondence with my GP. He even gave me another ECG test when he noticed, by feeling my pulse, that my heart seemed to have reset spontaneously. The ECG did indeed confirm it! My cardiologist was Dr Bernard Thomas who does not appear in your list.

I thought the food was great, nurses were friendly and attentive. However the communication in handover was poor as I had my stay extended and was forgotten about. So no food, no pain meds, no observations, drip ran out. Luckily I twigged on and thought mmm it’s nearly 8pm and I haven’t seen anyone since lunchtime. Apart from that it was very good.

We had such a lovely experience at Paedicare. The admin staff were welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived, and the doctors were incredibly kind, helpful, and caring.
