Admitting staff were very professional and caring, the procedure started just about on time, everything was explained clearly and in a soothing manner so there were now worries on my side UNTIL the Anesthetist started to dig into my right arm trying to put in the catheter, I told him my left arm was best because I had deep veins and the left was the easiest BUT he still kept digging needles in first in the back of my right hand then a jab into my inner wrist which hit a nerve and pain shot up my whole arm, then he tried the elbow, finally he moved to the left arm and after about 3 tries he finally got it in but it was extremely uncomfortable the whole 2 days I was in hospital. The doctor Yanez who did my procedure was great explaining what happened during the procedure (Colonoscopy) everything else was fine.. After 6 days out of hospital my right wrist is very sore and I get a shooting pain up my entire arm whenever I straighten it, whatever he has done it will have to be further investigated!

I Sincerely believe that Dr (Ano) Anojan Navaratnam, is a highly skilled Urologist, and as per my recent surgery (29-07-25) at St Andrews War Memorial Hospital, a unique Specialist RARP Surgeon. I am a 72-year-old male that was found to have a possible prostate cancer, after Dr Ano organized an MRI Then a biopsy to confirm, the MRI findings and give a Gleason Score. Next was a PET scan to see if the cancer was within the Prostate, confirming for me that a Prostate Removal was the best outcome in my case. After the painless surgery, and the 8day catheter removal, (also painless) I went home, only to find that I had no incontinence issues, like most people can go through, that I had read so much about. In my case, I now know, this was a result of Dr Ano's skill during the RARP surgery. If you are lucky enough to be considered as a patient of his, grab it. I am so glad I did. P.S. All his staff are well organized, and efficient as well.

Despite arriving 30 minutes early, I didn't get seen until 40 minutes after my appointment time, so ended up waiting over an hour. Both the assistant and the Doctor I saw were fantastic, and would be very happy to return to see them again. They were friendly and appeared interested when I engaged with them. It did feel a little rushed, likely because they were running behind on appointment times, but otherwise I was reasonably happy. What would be great is to have what you discussed summarized in writing or sent via email afterwards so you have your own record of the treatment plan. The most difficult part was remembering exactly what you needed to do, despite their being a prescription for treatment using the medication. Perhaps the use of AI to record and translate the entire session would be beneficial to both the practice and the patient.

Absolutely amazing staff here, and the very best caring doctors We are treated like a person here not a number, everyone is so polite so caring so considerate and just make sure your ok, they show that they care about you I wouldn’t go anywhere else, I don’t get this care from other surgeries it’s just the best service here for anyone and everyone I spend just over 5 hours travelling to come here once a month but I wouldn’t if it wasn’t so great, but it is so that drive to visit a doctor is a pleasure to me not a chore Sometimes I’ve got real stress and worries but when I get here I feel so welcome it’s all left at the door and for a half hour while I’m here nothing worries me and then I drive home so happy feeling like I just saw my “family” and glad I get to come back next month.

Appointments were always on time and feedback immediately after the operation to myself via a video link and a phone call to my wife was very well handled. Procedure and stay at St Vincent’s Private Hospital was another positive experience. Staff at his office were extremely friendly and helpful on any inquiries that I had. Follow up with my referring doctor was also very prompt. Overall a five star experience.

After having a pain in my left side for a while, I was a little nervous and a tiny bit scared about what Dr Syrrakos would find in my recent colonoscopy. Shortly my procedure, he put me at ease and gave me the results. Two days later, he personally rang me with the results of biopsies that were taken during the procedure of my stomach, and gave some advice to help with that problem. I have always found Dr Syrrakos to be a kind, caring doctor, highly trusted and recommended as he also treated my mother with the highest respect while prolonging her life. We cannot thank him enough!

Everything seemed very streamlined. At every stage, I was explained about the process of what was to happen. It was a nice touch receiving a personal message from my surgeon about the procedure and what had happened. Good to have a visit from the Physio to understand what exercises I needed to concentrate on. When I needed an extra prescription for pain medications that was addressed in a very timely manner, which made me more at tease given it was over a long weekend. I cannot fault the process thus far.

Off to a bad start waiting more than ten minutes for an elevator. Building maintenance dominated this morning’s proceedings. As it turns out I shouldn’t have been concerned as this was trumped by a 45 minute wait time in the surgery. I understand that there needs to be some allowance but this is ridiculous. Can’t imagine that the doctor would be too pleased if I walked in an hour late

Admin staff were so friendly and kind. Dr Ryan was very thoughtful, discussing all options and working with me to develop a plan moving forward. I just had some confusion as to which side of the desk to check in on - I’m not sure if this could be made clearer with wall signs or overhead signs, just so that if staff are busy and you are queuing, you know you are in the right line.

There was some confusion over the CT scans. The second appointment I had with the Radiologist to have scans of the adrenals didn't happen in the end and the Radiologist could not get hold of anyone from Complete Surgery to clarify what was meant to happen. I was very anxious and was asked a few questions I could not answer. The gastrocopy & colonoscopy went well.
