After my procedure, Dr Nwaba gave me a brief explanation for my symptoms. The explanation was alarming to me so I asked more questions. Dr Nwaba was eager to get to his next patient and didn’t answer my questions. He put me on medication in the meantime while results came back. At my follow up appointment, I explained that I was experiencing symptoms I had never had before and thought it may be the medication. Dr Nwaba dismissed my concerns and still did not give me a definitive diagnosis. After another 5 days I was extremely unwell. I stopped taking the medication and less than 24 hours later I started to feel much better. I contacted Dr Nwaba’s office and they forwarded my concerns to Dr Nwaba. Dr Nwaba then contacted me and was quite aggressive in the way he was speaking. He told me to stop taking the medication and that he would see me in 2 weeks. At the next appointment, my inflammation had not resided (perhaps due to not taking any medication for the inflammation due to it making me unwell). I was placed on new medication. This appointment seemed like a completely waste of time and money. I’m unsure why I couldn’t have been placed on the new medication without another appointment.

I have been seeing Dr Vigh for well over 10 years since being diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease. My last visit was via tele-health as I live outside of Brisbane. During this video phone call, we discussed how I had been feeling and what problems I was having. She sent a new pain relief prescription to my phone. She also organized my special PBS medication prescription and arranged to send that to my pharmacist. In addition, we agreed that I should have a follow up colonoscopy and she organized for her staff to call me about setting my next appointment date. Dr Vigh never rushes through my appointments with her and I feel very comfortable in trusting her with my well being.
