Although the male Dr was completely professional I will ask specifically for a female Dr next time for the whole appointment. Dr called in female Dr in to check genital area which I appreciated. But I felt the overall skin check was not as thorough as usual. Face, hair not checked, under underwater not checked. I come once a yr for a full skin check, because I’ve come for over 6 yrs now I know how thorough they usually are. if spots missed I could be in trouble. As I was thrown by male Dr, I didn’t insist for a more thorough check, as it’s a little awkward. I have a spot on my eye (previous BCC removed) I’m concerned about, but I forgot to highlight it, as thrown. If thoroughly checked it would have been seen as drs in past have seen concerns before me. Now I’m in dilemma of paying $260+ more to come back to check this eye spot only 3 weeks later & if I can get an appointment. Everything else was excellent.

I found the staff extremely friendly, however the experience was negatively impacted by the wait time to be admitted. On the day my admission time was scheduled for 3.15pm. I arrived at the admissions desk at 2.50pm to be told to take a seat and they were calling people up in order. It wasn’t very busy in the waiting room at the time. At 3.35pm I received a call from the admissions desk asking where I was, I could see her from where I was sitting and waved and headed to the desk. She asked if I had let someone know I was there as they were urgently waiting for me to be admitted. I’m unsure how I was forgotten about but feel this did impact my surgery admission and pushed me back to end of the list. I was not taken in for my procedure until 5.30pm.

Dr Hamilton was a pleasure to meet and had incredible bedside manner. He was thorough, clear, and informative; always ensuring I understood and frequently checking in if i had any questions. He maintained supreme professionalism while simultaneously being personable and friendly, with a genuine warmth to his presence. I was treated with the utmost care and respect. He ensured he was well informed of my condition, ensured I understood each step, and still managed to fit a few jokes in there to create a comfortable atmosphere. It would be a pleasure to continue being a patient of his.

I arrived at reception 5 minutes before my scheduled appointment and checked in with the Receptionist. She noted my arrival. I sat there fore 20 minutes until receiving a phone call, asking where I was and seeking an ETA. However, I was sitting in the waiting area. This was disappointing as it caused me to be late for a later engagement. I found Dr Fidock to be pleasnt and helpful and he provided very clear directions and suggestions for the way forward with my treatment.

Dr Andrabi is the best surgeon. After 6 years if not being able to eat he took me on and has changed my life forever. I had a botched bariatric surgery by a different surgeon and no one would help me till I was referred to Dr Andrabi.
