I have had previous procedures performed at Maryvale Private Hospital and on these occasions I have nothing but total confidence and trust in the nursing staff and support staff. For my latest procedure ( hip replacement) I have once again nothing but praise for the nursing and support staff. In particular the nursing staff's concern about my lack of sleep and pain control was quite amazing, which I was particular grateful for. The selection of meals was very impressive but unfortunately I was unable to take full advantage of due to sleep and pain issues but what I was able to eat was wonderful. My only "complaint" was the inappropriate use of mobile phones by other patients. By inappropriate I mean using a mobile phone at 6.07 am on speaker which by the volume would have been on full volume. A total lack of consideration for other patients in the ward. I also had a mobile phone which was on silent and definitely not on speaker which I considered a courtesy to other patients.

Our dr was late but that’s ok. We get the time sensitivity and the amount of appts you have to fit in. But just wanted to share that we don’t find some of the receptionist staff that welcoming for our last visit, and I recommended a friend fertility north in the last month and she told me she rang two fertility practices and ended up going with the other one because they were far friendlier and welcoming. I just felt disappointed because I think your practice is really excellent but in regards to first impressions sometimes it misses the mark a little bit. I know generally as clientele we are often stressed and hormonal and probably tricky to deal with but that prob makes it even more important because it is a financially and emotionally huge investment to choose a fertility clinic and it would be nice to feel nurtured all the way through. To my friend the abrupt/ business like person she spoke to, that was the impression she now holds of fn which is a real shame.

Overall, I was very satisfied, especially with the nurses, who provided attentive and warm service. However, your receptionist lacked understanding of the differences between the Healthcare card and the Pensioner concession card. My Healthcare card had just expired, but my Pensioner concession card was still valid. Furthermore, I had just asked Centrelink a few days ago, and they told me that the Pensioner concession card was better than the Healthcare card, but your receptionist said you didn't accept Pensioner concession cards, which is inconsistent with government policy. I hope you can improve your service in this area.

Greeted warmly at reception thank you 🙏🏼 I was nervous! All nursing staff were kind, positive and welcoming making me feel instantly at ease and tended to my every need from start to finish. Facility was clean, immaculate and extremely comfortable. Anaesthetist was so professional yet kind and considerate making me feel even more at ease that I am taken care of. Surgeon was also very confident in nature but also direct and professional and kind and thorough. I feel extremely thankful to have attended to such a well run facility and will return should any further investigation be required! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10

Jeremy was very professional, and explained everything in great detail. The whole process from start to finish was easy to navigate for both myself and husband. I have had excellent results so far from the MVD for Trigerminal Neuralgia. 7 weeks Post Operation. The pain has subsided from my face, and only have mininmal numbness in bottom jaw which is decreasing each week. I have no headaches and are able to go back to normal duties. I highly recommend Jeremy, and Sasha his reception went over and above to help.

Had a good meeting with the doctor and have since had a procedure on my ankle. I'm pleased with the result and the speed of recovery. The excision of the soft tissue ankle lump (angioleiomyoma) has eliminated the regular, significant pain that I was experiencing. Overall it has been well handled with a very good outcome.

All staff were extremely respectful & helpful at all times. Only suggestion is better signage as to exits following a procedure - I found it a bit confusing. You are escorted to the procedure room but I was not given directions to exit. Staff did however help me when they realised I was unsure of how to get to the exits.

Great practice, just realise even if you are booked, there are occasional emergencies that may causes you to wait. But great team. Made an unpleasant experience quite relaxing. And I'm pensioned off for PTSD, so that's song something.
