Her calm presence, thoughtful explanations, and genuine care made every appointment reassuring. I always felt heard, valued, and cared for as an individual, not just as a patient. I also want to express my heartfelt appreciation for her team(Amy). They were always ready to help, consistently kind, and incredibly patient. Whether it was answering questions, arranging appointments, or offering reassurance during anxious moments, the team’s warmth and professionalism made a huge difference. Their support created an environment where I always felt welcomed and looked after. Together, Dr. Karen and her team provided a level of care that was truly extraordinary. I will always be grateful for their dedication, compassion, and the way they stood beside me throughout this journey. Dr Evelyn Chia

I had an incredible experience with Dr Evelyn Chia and her team. From my very first enquiry, Christine was outstanding — she replied quickly, sent through everything I needed, and handled it all with such professionalism that I was immediately impressed. I’d gathered several quotes and found prices were all fairly similar, but Christine’s service genuinely won me over. Evelyn herself is amazing. She’s warm, funny, supportive, and made me feel completely at ease throughout my pregnancy. She respected all my choices and my birth plan, and I loved that when my partner joined a couple of appointments, we could all have a bit of light-hearted banter together. I opted for an elective caesarean, and my scar looks fantastic. I joked with Evelyn beforehand to bring her A-game, and she absolutely delivered. We didn’t have insurance as our little one was a surprise, so we paid out of pocket — and it was worth every cent. I wouldn’t hesitate to do it exactly the same way again. We also paid to stay at North Shore Private and had a brilliant experience there. Every staff member we encountered was warm, professional, and exceptional at what they do. Highly recommend Dr Evelyn Chia and her team. They made the entire journey such a positive and memorable one!

Fertility North

Our dr was late but that’s ok. We get the time sensitivity and the amount of appts you have to fit in. But just wanted to share that we don’t find some of the receptionist staff that welcoming for our last visit, and I recommended a friend fertility north in the last month and she told me she rang two fertility practices and ended up going with the other one because they were far friendlier and welcoming. I just felt disappointed because I think your practice is really excellent but in regards to first impressions sometimes it misses the mark a little bit. I know generally as clientele we are often stressed and hormonal and probably tricky to deal with but that prob makes it even more important because it is a financially and emotionally huge investment to choose a fertility clinic and it would be nice to feel nurtured all the way through. To my friend the abrupt/ business like person she spoke to, that was the impression she now holds of fn which is a real shame.

Dr Gabriel James

Originally with a different OB, I had a chance encounter with Dr James over halfway through my pregnancy and was so impressed with his calm and caring nature that I switched over to him for the remainder of my pregnancy. I couldn’t recommend Dr James and his team more highly, including Chris and Kim at reception who were always warm, welcoming, and helpful. Dr James took the time to understand my idea of a dream birth and explained the pros and cons of what I was thinking. I trusted his guidance completely, and even when things didn’t go exactly the way I’d hoped during birth, my mind was instantly at ease when he entered the birthing suite. I’ll always be grateful for his role in the safe delivery of our beautiful daughter. If you want an OB that is not only a master of their craft but also an all round great human, look no further.

I had an incredible experience with Dr. Kent and his team. His service, care, and surgical skills were absolutely top-notch. I had a large fibroid, and thanks to his expertise, he made a quick and confident decision to perform a C-section rather than making a horizontal incision. I truly felt I was in the hands of a highly skilled technician. His team was amazing throughout the entire process, and the follow-up care was thorough and reassuring. I’ve also recovered so quickly, which I credit to his precision and care. I couldn’t be more grateful for the outcome and the level of care I received. Highly recommend Dr. Kent and his team.

Initially it was good & friendly however I rang the practice the following day to ask a very quick question & was told that I have to make an appointment ! I explained to the receptionist that I attended the rooms yesterday & Dr. Hartin said to me if I had any ?s then contact me ! After explaining that to the receptionist she again said “you’ll have to make an appointment “ ! I explained that I’ve just paid $360 & I’m not about to pay another fee just to ask a VERY simple question ! She did finally say, well you can send an email if you want to ! Her attitude was cold & blunt. I have since sort another surgeon. Thank you. I.G.

WOW!! A colonoscopy is an embarrassing procedure and i felt quite concerned and nervous when i entered the hospital but I can say unequivocally, that all concerns were immediately allayed by the professional and diligent manner of all of the staff at Southern Endoscopy Centre. They were just fantastic. All the lead up to admittance was managed wonderfully. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I just felt safe and in good hands from the outset to the finish. I really want to thank Dr Ganesh and all of the nurses who attended to me doing a job most of us may not want to do first thing in the morning 🤣🤣

She didn't send the results to family doctor and i called the reception twice and they confirmed that they sent it but in deed they didn't when i came to the hub to pick the results they refused to pass it to me so i had to argue with them badly at the reception until they have me the results So, i don't recommend this doctor to any one and i told the family doctor not to send people to get again, there vests to get and she did nothing and until now my daughter is the same and didn't get better

I was 82 at the time and this operation was the most serious one in my life so far. The hospital and surgeon were caring and helpful. I subsequently suffered a bad reaction to the painkiller I had been given, and it has taken many months for me to even partly regain full use of my foot. The surgeon has been very helpful with his long-distance advice, as I have not been able to return to the Sunshine Coast so he could see me in person. I think the care will be on-going for some time yet.

Dr Shady was so lovely, he eased my nerves instantly and made me feel so comfortable. He went through everything thoroughly and made sure all my questions were answered. He even came and checked on me after my surgery in recovery. My mother in law even said after the surgery how lovely he was. Thank you so much for making the process so easy :)

All staff were extremely respectful & helpful at all times. Only suggestion is better signage as to exits following a procedure - I found it a bit confusing. You are escorted to the procedure room but I was not given directions to exit. Staff did however help me when they realised I was unsure of how to get to the exits.

Great practice, just realise even if you are booked, there are occasional emergencies that may causes you to wait. But great team. Made an unpleasant experience quite relaxing. And I'm pensioned off for PTSD, so that's song something.
