I was going through chronic pain which has been for 2 years.finally met with the very specialist Dr and physio whose hard work paid off. The way they handle my case was outstanding and worth the wait. Where I didn’t even thought about getting better as normal but the sydney pain management did it the pain from 7-8 out 10 came down to zero with the treeament,exercises and support during visit and making everything possible with a positive mindset. Dr. Taraneh has treated my mother for poor circulation which was causing ulceration in her leg that would not heal. Where another specialist effectively gave up on the case, Dr. Taraneh was able to give detailed advice on correct dressings, monitored weekly photos from the nursing home staff and gave feedback and suggested the use of a pneumatic cuff. As a result, the ulceration has finally healed and my mother has regained mobility and is in better spirits. This treatment took some time but Dr. Taraneh was always available for further advice and would call me with updates during and after hospitalisation. She was also very patient with my mother and explained the situation and options at every step of the process.

This is my second hip replacement. The first, in 2024, was for the right hip via a posterior entry with a different surgeon . The surgery was great, the recovery was quick and my experience was terrific. This surgery with Dr Schwarz was for the left hip via an anterior entry. The experience with Dr Schwarz before and after the surgery was excellent and the recovery has been incredible so far, an even better outcome than the previous surgery in terms of ability to return home, function of the new hip, recovery from the surgery and pain levels.

Overall, I had a great experience with the service provided. However, I found the specialist fees to be significantly higher than I expected. The Medicare rebate is comparatively low when measured against GP fees, which makes the out-of-pocket cost quite substantial. For someone with limited income and managing a diagnosis such as diabetes, these costs can be very difficult to afford. I believe more consideration should be given to patients who require ongoing specialist care but face financial constraints.

I was asked to come in at 0930 for a 1015 procedure. According to another patient the Dr was caught in traffic and she was given a call to delay her admission by 1 hour. I didn't get a call, resulting me sitting on a hard chair for 1 1/2hrs (with nothing to read) before seeing the nurse and getting changed at 1105. After that, everything moved quickly and I was discharged at 1245.
