Dr. Yasith Edirisinghe, also known as Dr. Yas, is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with expertise in a wide range of adult and paediatric orthopaedic conditions and surgical procedures. His comprehensive scope of practice covers various areas within orthopaedic surgery, including:
- General adult and paediatric orthopaedic surgery
- Limb and joint revision, reconstruction, and replacement
- Arthroplasty (joint replacement surgery) and arthroscopy (minimally invasive joint surgery)

Dr. Yas Edirisinghe is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association. He has undergone subspecialty fellowship training in hip/knee arthroplasty, arthroscopy and reconstruction. He currently has a busy private and a public practice delivering advanced joint reconstruction for complex trauma, arthroplasty in Adelaide, North Adelaide regions. He particularly has an interest in finding joint care solutions for difficult reconstruction challenges.
Currently, Dr. Yas serves as the Director of Orthopaedic Surgical training North Adelaide Local Health District and actively involved in advancing orthopaeding education and training new surgeons.
