Dr. Cole is a consultant obstetrician at the Royal Women's Hospital, where he is also head of one of the four Obstetric Units and the Multiple Pregnancy Clinic. He has been involved with foetal therapies for over 12 years and is currently the director of Maternal-Foetal Medicine training at the hospital, preparing specialists to care for women with high-risk pregnancies. He is a Fellow of the The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and is a member of the Victorian Foetal Therapy Service (VFTS).

Dr Cole has been extremely supportive throughout my pregnancy. He has a really calm demeanor and takes care to address all my questions and concerns. My C section scar has healed really well and his midwives have also been super helpful during my breastfeeding journey.

Our experience with Dr Cole was amazing from start to finish. He was incredibly professional, supportive, communicative and understanding throughout the whole pregnancy. Dr Cole was thorough and responsive to all our needs and queries. He treated us with compassion and kindness and we felt safe and secure at every stage. Dr Cole and his team are super efficient and great at what they do. Our pregnancy journey became so comfortable, thanks to Steve and his team. They became more like family. Everyone is just so sweet & caring. Highly recommend.

As a first time mum pregnant with twins I was nervous! Dr Cole reassured me all the way if I had any concerns. I felt supported and could always call and ask questions if I had any. My experience was totally positive and so glad I chose Dr Cole as my obstetrician.

We were so grateful for the care and skill provided by Dr Cole during my pregnancy, delivery and post partum. We felt assured at all stages that we were in the best possible hands and he involved dad in the consults equally which we really appreciated. Having the opportunity to pull my son out is a moment which will be with me always. Could not recommend more highly.

Dr Cole has help delivered both of babies most recently a baby girl in February 2024. After years of heartbreaking IVF and infertility. Dr Cole was extremely compassionate and caring. A fantastic obstetrician who is very knowledge and reassuring. I went on to have two wonderful births.

We were introduced to Dr Cole back in 2019 when I was pregnant with our son and I couldn’t rate Dr. Cole more highly. He was a wonderful obstetrician who is very knowledgeable, compassionate and kind. We loved our experience with him so much that we went back to him for Baby No. 2 in 2023 for a 2024 delivery date. We were living overseas back then but I was adamant to see Stephen again for our second bub, thus we made the effort to fly back and forth to Melbourne for our checkups and stayed at a temporary accommodation for the delivery. He helped me deliver my Baby 2 in February 2024 and I'm grateful it was him as my doctor. He was always calm and reassuring during our consultations all the way to the end. I would also like to thank the midwives that was with us throughout baby 2’s journey, Wendy and Linsey, as they were absolutely phenomenal. They answered all my queries and concerns throughout the pregnancy and made me very comfortable throughout my sessions with them. I would also like to thank Eliza and CJ from the office. They have been amazing in helping me secure the bookings for my scan appointments and also accommodating me with any urgent appointments when needed. Dr. Cole and his team are the best team I could have hoped for my two pregnancies. We sincerely thank everyone in the team for treating us so well and giving us the best experience possible.

We have high regards for Dr. Stephen Cole and his entire team. Dr. Cole is very knowledgeable and spends enough time with you, listening to you patiently and ensures you don’t leave the clinic without having any of your questions unanswered. The best part about him is that he has a proactive approach and he listens to our concerns, acknowledges them. Truly, he is one of the best doctors we have experienced. We are also very thankful to Linsey and Wendy for the extraordinary support and warmth they provided to us during our anxious times. Olivia’s advice as a lactation consultant was of great help to me. Last but not the least, CJ, Eliza and Anisha at the reception are so lovely to talk to. They have great level of empathy. We have a lot of gratitude for this wonderful team. Our experience with them was worth it. We highly recommend Dr. Cole.
