Dr Dan Krishnan is professional and caring, making patients feel listened to and understood. He demonstrates surgical expertise in laparoscopic, robotic, and hysterectomy procedures for complex gynaecological conditions. Patients highlight his clear explanations, thorough diagnoses, and exceptional pre and post-operative care, which leads to successful patient outcomes. This surgery truly changed my life. For years, I suffered from ongoing pain and was repeatedly told by male GPs that my symptoms were self-induced or “all in my head.” If you’re a woman experiencing persistent pain, please trust yourself and get it properly investigated. By the time I was referred to Dr Krishnan, I had already progressed to Stage IV endometriosis. From my very first consultation, Dr Krishnan was exceptional — he took the time to thoroughly review my results, clearly explain my diagnosis, and walk me through exactly what to expect from surgery. I felt heard, validated, and genuinely cared for. During my endometriosis surgery, Dr Krishnan noticed that my appendix looked abnormal, with visible endometriosis lesions. He made the critical decision to remove it — which ultimately led to the discovery of cancer. I truly believe this decision saved my life. The surgery itself was a success, and my recovery was far smoother than I anticipated, with minimal pain and discomfort. Post-operatively, Dr Krishnan continued to provide outstanding care, taking the time to explain my results in detail and outline a clear, thoughtful plan moving forward. I cannot recommend Dr Krishnan highly enough. His expertise, attention to detail, and genuine compassion made an incredibly difficult experience manageable — and ultimately life-changing.
Dr Krishnan provided outstanding care throughout my treatment for a recent hysterectomy. After my initial scan, he clearly explained my results and walked me through all available options, taking the time to answer my questions in a way that was easy to understand. The surgery and my recovery went extremely well, despite being somewhat complex. Post-operatively, he was attentive, responsive, and even accommodated a quick follow-up appointment when needed. His caring and empathetic approach made a real difference to my recovery, which was smooth and positive. The clinic staff were also consistently friendly and helpful.
Dr Krishnan was very caring and had very clear communication with everything. I really appreciated that he came in to see me the day after my procedure and went through everything with me and also came to see me on the day of my discharge from the hospital. He also took the time to look into my partners firtility and did pathology for him and explained everything. Dr Krishnan and his team are amazing and I'm very lucky to have been a patient.
Dr.Dan is very very helpful, he makes everything very easy to understand and as well with all the explanations, he helps you plan and gives the best solution that really makes us at ease, he takes care of his patients genuinely and very professionally. Very very happy with his service.
I had an excellent experience under the care of Dr Dan Krishnan for my laparoscopy. From the very beginning, he was professional, reassuring, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made me feel completely at ease going into the procedure. The surgery itself went smoothly, and I felt confident I was in very capable hands throughout the entire process. Post-operatively, his care and follow-up were just as thorough and attentive, which made a big difference in my recovery and overall experience. The hospital stay was equally outstanding. The nurses were absolutely amazing—kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. They checked in regularly, managed my pain well, and made sure I was comfortable at all times. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble for them, and their warmth really helped me feel supported during my recovery. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’m so grateful to Dr Krishnan and the entire hospital team for their exceptional care and professionalism. Highly recommend.
Dr. Dan Krishnan is a truly gifted and compassionate surgeon. I came to him after a long struggle with pain and heavy bleeding. I was dealing with constant pain, exhaustion, and symptoms that were affecting my work, my energy, and my emotional wellbeing. There were many days when I felt completely drained. The hysterectomy he performed has truly given me my life back. Dr. Krishnan and his team are professional, kind, and supportive throughout the whole process. His team was also wonderful and compassionate, and most importantly—they truly listen. I felt completely safe in their hands. Thank you for the incredible care and for helping me feel healthy again. I will always be grateful for the care and support I received.
I had endometriosis surgery back in December, Dr Dan Krishnan was one of the best surgeons I could have asked for. He was very patient with me, any questions or concerns my parents or I had, were quickly answered with confidence. Post surgery was much better than I expected due to the care Dr Dan took when performing my surgery. Post surgery he called me in his free time to make sure I was doing okay. I just had my first surgery check up and everything is as good as it could be. It made me very relaxed with how much Dr Dan cared that I was doing well. One of my favourite things about Dr Krishnan is his happy personality, he doesn’t make it stressful as if you are at the hospital or a doctors office. He creates a calm environment where you feel comfortable to discuss anything that may be worrying you.
I was very well taken care of at the hospital and the procedure was managed very smoothly with no issues. I felt that my concerns were addressed and pain relief/nausea well controlled too
I have been a patient of Dr Dan Krishnan's for over 3 years, initially at his rooms at Sydney Private Hospital Ashfield. He has now moved to his own practice at Inner West Women’s and Children. Finding Dr Dan has been a revelation as I have found a specialist who is genuinely warm, empathetic, caring, and highly knowledgeable. From my first appointment I felt truly listened to. My pain and experience wasn't dismissed. I finally felt heard. I have never felt rushed and our appointments are so relaxed. Over the past few years I have had investigative and surgical procedures performed by him in relation to endo and adenomyosis. My stage 4 endometriosis surgery could not have gone better and he came to visit me early the following morning post surgery and chatted to me at my bedside and showed me video of my surgery on his ipad (at my special request!). My condition progressed requiring a total hysterectomy which Dr Dan performed with his team of passionate and skilled professionals. He was in constant contact with me after the surgery checking in with my pain and comfort levels. Everything is clearly explained and all treatment options were presented to me stating the pros and cons of each and taking my life stage and preferences into consideration. Dr Dan only deals with gyno issues - no obstetrics so you aren't going to be delayed like the ob/gyn specialists that are off delivering babies and leave you waiting at their practice for hours. I did feel initial reluctance seeing a male gynecologist, but this was unfounded. Dr Dan has a way of making you feel immediately com...

"We make a living with what we get, but we make a life with what we give." – Winston Churchill. My recent experience at the newly designed Perich Centre for Robotics and Health Technology in Liverpool was nothing short of remarkable. I had the honor of sharing the stage with distinguished surgeons—Dr. Tanushree Rao, Dr. Cherynne Johansson, and Dr. Dean Conrad—who are all at the forefront of their fields. Together, we devoted an entire day to inspiring and shaping the future of robotic surgery. Teaching is not just a passion of mine; it’s a calling that fuels my enthusiasm and commitment to the next generation of surgeons.
