Dr Ziggy Yeh

Dr Ziggy (Zeigfeld Yu-Ting) Yeh is a General and Colorectal Surgeon with a special interest in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery. He completed his general surgical training at Westmead Hospital and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2012.

Dr Yeh pursued subspecialty training in Acute Care and Emergency Surgery, followed by advanced Colorectal Surgery training at Nepean Hospital and Blacktown Mt Druitt Hospital. He then undertook a prestigious overseas colorectal fellowship at Singapore General Hospital, where he gained expertise in robotic surgery and pelvic exenteration for complex colorectal cancers.

He has held consultant appointments at Blacktown Mt Druitt Hospital and Hawkesbury Hospital. He remains actively engaged in professional societies including General Surgeons Australia, the Society of Colorectal Surgeons (Singapore), and the World Society of Emergency Surgery. Dr Yeh also contributes to surgical education as an honorary clinical lecturer at Macquarie University.

His clinical expertise spans open, laparoscopic (keyhole), and robotic techniques for conditions such as rectal bleeding, haemorrhoids, anal fissures, perianal fistulas, diverticular disease, and bowel cancer. He provides gastroscopy and colonoscopy services for the diagnosis and management of digestive tract disorders. He also treats a range of general surgical conditions including skin lesions, ingrown toenails, carpal tunnel syndrome, gallstones, and abdominal wall hernias.

Dr Yeh also collaborates with gynaecologists to perform combined procedures for complex cases of grade 4 endometriosis, offering multidisciplinary surgical care for patients with advanced pelvic disease.
