The kindness and reassurance of Professor Jari and his team reassured me and helped me to make the decision to go ahead with surgery. Throughout my short stay in the Alexandra Hospital care was thorough and professional and latterly, having followed the professor’s comprehensive post op advice, I am amazed (as are my friends and family) that the recovery has been far less painful and much speedier than ever anticipated. The improvement to my mobility was instant, even during the early days of recovery I was aware of the transformation. I cannot thank the very kind Professor Jari and his team enough, the golf buggy is now a thing of the past.

It was a pleasure receiving care at Nuffield Health, the clinic is calm, modern and spacious and functions very well plus all the staff are very friendly and professional. I underwent a coronary CT angiogram which on the whole went smoothly. Perhaps some minor suggestions concerning the fact that due to a previous mastectomy my veins on (useable) only one arm required a bit more skill regarding inserting a cannula & taking blood. And although I researched the procedure beforehand to explain it in detail in person then and there would have been good. The doctor who dealt with lowering my heart rate did not introduce himself or explain his role. Yet overall it was a very good experience.

From the initial consultation to the follow up appointments, the care I received was very good. Dr. Aziz explained the procedure thoroughly, addressing all my concerns with patience and expertise. Check-in process was confusing. Tried to use the check-in kiosk which did not work. Went to one desk, and told to go to another which was for private patients. I was then asked to complete another registration form. I had already sent one electronically a few days before my appointment. It was frustrating to have to do this all over again. Surely this could be streamlined. Perhaps my expectations were unrealistic, but I did expect to be seen at the time of my appointment but was kept waiting, albeit for a short time only.

I was welcomed by the reception staff on entering and was taken on time for my height and weight. The nurse was very friendly and informative as were the radiologists. Mr Changulani welcomed me and was extremely professional and thorough during my appointment explaining that I would be put on his list for surgery on my right knee. I was given a booklet on Guide for patient before during and after my joint replacement. The duration of time in was 40 minutes in total …….. an excellent experience overall

I am so grateful that I did. 2 years post op, I am the fittest I have ever been - not knowing that I had a bicuspid aorta until the age of 65 had severely impacted by aerobic ability throughout my life. I have been nurtured, encouraged, pushed and praised by the wonderful folks at CP+R. Plus the regular check ups have helped to track my progress.
