The CP+R team are a professional and thorough outfit, full of friendly and expert staff and utilising a convenient app to structure and manage post-cardio recovery and training. After a double bypass, I've had excellent support from the CP+R team to get me moving. Very personalised from first contact all the way through. My thanks to Rebecca Price for her enthusiasm, willingness to manage my late diary changes and infectious positivity. Particular thanks to Joe Channer, my coach, for getting me to 6k runs and feeling great in 11 weeks. Kept me in check and safe, listened to my daft questions and gave me good advice on technique, diet and has a catalogue of grim exercises. Great fun, I've lost some trouser sizes, resting heart rate around 50 bpm and VO2 max 40.5 in 11 weeks. Many thanks to all.
Having the advice from the coaches and trainers has been invaluable. After the assessment you have your results clearly explained to you and with your coach your work to improve this. I have just had another assessment and can now really see the value and the training from the coaches has really paid off. Having had the surgery and feeling worried about next steps everyone at CP&R help you get your confidence and fitness back. Arianna, Amy and Angela have helped me so much on this journey.
I attended upper wimpole street today and patrick undertook assessment. All very professional and friendly. Assessment report is always an interesting read with lots of metrics that give me targets to improve. Coaching with James Horne always fantastic also and sessions with Jacob and now rebbeca engaging and inspiring. All in all a wonderful service and look forward to continuing with CP&R.
A professional and structured approach gave me the confidence to do strength and cardio exercise following various cardiac procedures. Staff and trainers are excellent - patient, understanding and very knowledgable around cardiac issues.seeing great results after 12 weeks. Special shout out to Phoebe, Lois and Amy. Would definitely recommend.
Training with CPand R has had a major effect on my energy levels,my strength and stamina, and because of this, my confidence, not only while exercising, but also in just moving through life. After having had a takatsubo heart incident some years ago after HITT training, I was very nervous about resuming exercise but the stepped program, monitored by my trainer renewed my confidence. Frequent evals give me a real sense of progress. Izzy and before her Sophie have been marvelous trainers. Patrick at the Eval and James going over things have made it very educational. I am grateful that I am with this group.
Expert support that has rebuilt my fitness to be better than ever, and most importantly given me fabulous confidence for exercising in the future. Jamie Wilkinson in particular has been a top top coach, along with all the team and the assessment teams are very expert too.
Following undergoing open-heart surgery in November last year, I was kindly offered a complementary cardio rehab programme through CP+R, which had been recommended by my amazing surgeon, Cha. Despite being slightly apprehensive, I decided to give it a go. I was initially asked to take a physical assessment at Bath UNI, which resulted in me quickly receiving a very detailed and thorough report of the results from Matt. These results were then kindly explained to me by David in a dedicated session. The CP+R team then used this information to build a rehab programme for me to allow me to exercise, but to a safe level without putting too much stress on my "new plumbing". This was invaluable to me, as it gave me a way to recover without the worry of injuring myself or putting myself at risk. I have been on the programme for 12 weeks now, and cannot speak highly enough of the team I have been working with at CP+R. Everyone I have met is highly knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about their jobs. My weekly sessions are held through VC, and my trainers (was Lizzie, now Beth) are professional, but also fun to work with and their motivational skills are second to none. For anyone who is unfortunate enough to have to undergo major heart surgery, I would highly recommend CP+R as they have had a major, positive impact on my recovery :)
very helpful guide how do the work outs and their benefits
My experience with all the instructors and assessors have been excellent. To be able to have CP+R has been a very good support to me. it helps me to focus, to change habits, it has changed me in some ways for the better. I am also more confident.
