Overall this has been a life changing experience. The workouts were tailored to my condition and I felt very safe to start working out, and over the months my fitness and strength have returned and I can't thank Cory Wilkinson and the CP+R team enough. I'm now working on building my fitness beyond what it has ever been. I feel very supported, with the workouts constantly adjusted to meet my changing lifestyle and improvements in my fitness.
Very well-structured assessment building on my existing health profile and limitations caused by certain conditions. Got to meet my coach in person after the better part of a year and there was zero disappointment!
David and the team were instrumental in my recovery after surgery. They were kind, professional and they led me to a much better fitness level than I ever expected. I fully recommend!
Leah was absolutely marvellous. Patient, clear, commanding, empathetic, informed, fun, decisive. We established an excellent relationship. Her advice was both well-placed and practical. Amy too was an excellent facilitator
I had a very good experience with the whole team but especially with Imogen who put up with this winging old man extreamly well. A very skilled young lady. The whole experience was very helpful especially nurse Angela who talked through a change of medication to positive effect. Thank you all. Bruce
i believe the CP&R process, people and results are indispensable for recovery after a heart operation. It would be bordering on impossible as your average patient post op. to know what to do to accelerate your heart health recovery without the expertise of CP&R and their people. Talking of people everyone is an expert in the field of heart related exercise and the step by step training sessions required to retrain the heart to work with the brain as it did before an operation. Chloe my personal coach bring energy and joy to every one of the 5 sessions we do every week. Then the whole team with Amy, Sam and Angela 'the nurse' who runs an excellent weekly learning session for all patients. Finally the technology and the 12 week data driven evaluations means that the whole process is information and measurement led, with nothing left to guessing. This service is one of the best kept secrets that needs to be a secret no more and be available to everyone in rehab.
The CP&R post recovery service was recommended by the medical team. I decided to take up the 4 week free offer to assess whether this would work well as part of my rebuilding health and wellbeing post op. Post assessment in London, Leah White, my Coach was introduced via Zoom and I had the pleasure of her guidance and support over 12 * 1 hour sessions from a couple of weeks after the operation for a month. The CP&R program is a very well thought through structured package designed to ease one into exercise and good diet practice after what is a pretty major life changing operation. Leah delivered very high quality guidance and support and communicated support and enthusiasm throughout the exercise regardless of whether it was my allocated hour or not. My recovery has been enhanced by CP&R's good practice and care. I may well be back for more. Thank you.
Following my Quadruple heart bypass, I was put in touch with CP&R for a complementary 4 week Rehab programme. I have found this experience to be extremely helpful, and beneficial. My instructor, Phoebe, has been a great support, guiding me through the 4 week process with great expertise. I now feel fitter than I did before my heart attack, even though I was a regular in the gym. I have learnt so much from Phoebe, and I have so much more confidence going forward.
It is rare to encounter a team whose outlook is so consistently positive and encouraging. From the outset, the atmosphere was supportive, professional and full of constant good humour, which makes a real difference during cardiac recovery. A special thank you to Ben for his encouragement and steady guidance. In a relatively short time I have seen clearly measurable improvements in my strength, fitness and confidence. Thank you for putting me firmly on the road to the best possible rehabilitation. I am genuinely grateful for the care and expertise shown throughout.
