Miss Rajni Jain is a Consultant Opthalmic Surgeon specialising in oculoplastic surgery. She graduated from Guy's and St Thomas' Medical School in 1995 and has completed 10 years of ophthalmic surgical training, making her highly experienced and skilled in her field.
Miss Jain's specialist interests include eyelid reconstruction following tumour excision and burns, children with eyelid abnormalities, and aesthetic oculoplastics including blepharoplasty, endoscopic brow-lifting techniques, anti wrinkle injections and facial aesthetics including dermal fillers.
Miss Jain is a passionate educator and is a surgical trainer. She is part of the faculty for ‘training the trainers' at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. She has several research interests and has presented on numerous occasions at national and international scientific meetings.
Miss Jain is active in research and is currently a principal investigator in a multi-centre randomised trial looking at treatment for thyroid eye disease.
Miss Jain sees both general ophthalmic and oculoplastic referrals and is available for emergency advice and consultation at other times.

Ms Jain was referred to me by one of her colleagues who was not dealing with chalazions. From the first consultation, she was efficient, professional and showed that she cared about my discomfort. I felt at ease after that and knew that she would take care of the issue and assist me. The procedure itself was tough for me (from a discomfort point of view and nothing to do with Ms Jain or her nurse - I was terrified), but she and her nurse were so caring, understanding and everything went well. The nurse held my hand, and both spoke to me and tried to keep me calm and distracted. Thank you both for your caring way. I would refer Ms Jain to anyone else as her expertise exceeded my expectations and my eye is so much better now.

She knowledgable in the field of cosmetic facial surgery and urgent eye care and is the lead for advice to GP's in Ophthalmology at Imperial. She is highly recommended!

OphthalmologyI have been working with Rajni within the Thyroid Eye MDT clinic at Imperial, which is now very well established, for a number of years. Rajni was my teacher while I trained as an endocrinologist and my first port of referral for complicated thyroid eye patients ever since then. It has been an absolute pleasure to look after these patients together since I joined the Consultant body at Imperial myself. Rajni is exceptionally quickly responsive to seeing my patients and offers treatments and solutions in a bespoke manner, whilst utilising the environment of our multi-disciplinary working to support safe patient care.
