Professor Sanjiv Jari is clear and professional in his interactions with patients. He achieves successful results in total knee replacement, ACL reconstruction, and arthroscopy. Patients report minimal pain and quick recovery, crediting his skilled use of Maco Robotic Surgery and advice for rehabilitation. The main themes cover successful orthopaedic procedures and significant relief from chronic discomfort.
Such a talented gentleman, Professor Jari is extremely professional, explains procedures in great depth, caring, considerate. Thank you
I attended for a follow up appointment following surgery. I have had a very good outcome due to the skill of Prof Jari during surgery and his very clear instructions on my rehabilitation.
I have recently gone through ACL reconstruction surgery with Prof Jari at The Alexandra Hospital. The entire process from my first consultation to being signed off has been amazing. Prof Jari has been incredibly clear and supporting throughout the entire process. We discussed all available options, treatment routes, and graft options and he allowed me to understand each route and helped me make my decision. The treatment I received at the Alexandra Hospital was brilliant. The staff were lovely and really helped me feel comfortable before and after my surgery. Post surgery I have been seeing Prof Jari regularly to check my progress and following his advice and guidance I have recovered well. Each milestone for recovery we have met on time or sooner than expected. The wider team that work with Prof Jari to organise consultations and share information have also been great. Whenever I needed to reorganise anything, they were very accommodating and always happy to help. I would absolutely recommend Prof Jari to anyone who has suffered an ACL injury. He and the team have helped make a positive outcome from my injury.
Re-knee Arthroscopy Nov 2025 at Spire Manchester I had a left knee meniscus tear, I went to see Professor Jari for an initial consultation at the end of October where everything was explained, I had the surgery at the end of November, everything went really smoothly from admission to discharge. I would highly recommend Professor Jari if you need knee surgery he was easy to talk to and explains everything to put your mind at ease.
I had a total knee replacement by Professor Jari at the Alexandra Hospital in July. I was treated with kindness and compassion throughout and I am delighted with the results. Six months later and my knee is pain free and has healed beautifully. I would have no hesitation in recommending Professor Jari and his team, they have been exceptional.
This is my second knee replacement under Professor Jari at Spire Hospital and I am highly delighted with the result. I had my left knee replaced in 2021 and my right knee replaced in November 2025, both under Professor Jari using the Maco Robotic Surgery technique. I understand Professor Jari has performed many knee replacements using this Maco Robotic Surgery. I have had no issues with healing or infections following my surgery and the recovery is going very well. After just three weeks in recovery I am no longer using crutches for support and my Physio Therapist has signed me off as I have full mobility in my knee. Professor Jari does set a strict exercise programme which in my opinion is the key to full mobility and a quicker recovery time. I would strongly recommend anyone who is thinking of having a Knee replacement to consider the Maco Robotic Surgery under Professor Jari at the Spire Hospital. This surgery is more accurate, less painful and a quicker recovery time. I have friends who have had knee replacements done via a surgeon and they have taken much longer to recover and in some cases suffered issues following their surgery. I can only speak from my own experience but both my knee replacements are perfect. The icing on the cake for me is Professor Jari has managed to straighten both my legs so I am no longer bow legged, perfect! Stephen W
I recently had a right meniscus repair done by Mr. Sanjiv Jari and I’m genuinely impressed. The whole process was smooth, straightforward, and he explained everything in a way that instantly put me at ease. The best part? The recovery has been amazingly quick — my operated knee now feels better than my so-called “good” one. I didn’t expect to be back on my feet so comfortably and so fast. Professional, confident, and easy to talk to , I couldn’t have asked for a better operation. If you need knee surgery, he’s the person you want and worthy of the title ‘The Knee Doc’
Please see the below brief testimonial based around my recent experience regarding my knee arthroscopy key hole surgery, performed by Professor Jari at the Alexandra hospital Cheadle . My operation took place approx. 7 weeks ago as a day patient at the Alexandra hospital Cheadle ,from admission to discharge it ran like clockwork, patient care was second to none ,as was my operation performed by Professor Jari and his Theatre team , nurses and Anesthetist ,I have since been back to the Alexandra to carry on with rehabilitation via physiotherapy ,I am pain free gaining improved mobility day on day ,back working my only regret was not involving professor Jari sooner hoping things would just improve which they never do . To finish I cannot recommend professor Jari highly enough he's a brilliant surgeon ,and a nice genuine guy who actually cares . Regards E I MHurley
Having heard several accounts of traumatic experiences, I have to admit, I initially approached the decision to have kneed replacement with trepidation. The kindness and reassurance of Professor Jari and his team reassured me and helped me to make the decision to go ahead with surgery. Throughout my short stay in the Alexandra Hospital care was thorough and professional and latterly, having followed the professor’s comprehensive post op advice, I am amazed (as are my friends and family) that the recovery has been far less painful and much speedier than ever anticipated. The improvement to my mobility was instant, even during the early days of recovery I was aware of the transformation. I cannot thank the very kind Professor Jari and his team enough, the golf buggy is now a thing of the past.
