A Life-Changing Experience – Thank You My wife is 62 years old and has battled alcoholism for 27 years. She had been to rehab three times before, but this time was different. She is beginning to embrace sobriety in a genuine, lasting way. She speaks openly when she feels low or has a difficult day, instead of turning to the bottle. That openness has been life-changing for the whole family. I will always be grateful for their understanding, dedication, and wisdom. I can’t believe I have been sent a message asking how my appointment went and asking to rate my experience I attended my appointment to have my procedure done, the doctor went through details that had already been disgusted and proceeded to tell me that I wouldn’t be able to get the arranged procedure done as she was leaving and from a professional point of view she could not do it as she would not be there for my follow up appointment. So I’m still wondering where the professionalism was when no one contacted me to inform me of this only to be turned away after I drove an hours journey to get to my oppointment and an hour home again. A simple phone call would have been professional. This was not that the doctor was off sick or something last minute, she was leaving and was very blasé about it. Absolutely no professionalism here at all

Following a scan Mr Moxey was quick to diagnose my problem (Peripheral Artery Disease in my aorta and leg arteries) and to identify where the blockages were and the degree of severity. He clearly explained the options for treating it and the risks of each approach. Together we decided that surgery would be the best option. At the time I was only able to walk 20 metres without having to rest, despite the fact I am normally very active. The results of the keyhole surgery were way better than I expected. I can walk for an hour or more without any difficulty, I can play fast, hard games of Padel and I can do my full gym workouts with multiple leg exercises. The operation was far from routine. It lasted 6 hours, during which time several techniques had to be tried to clear the blockages. I am absolutely delighted with the results.

My follow-up appointment showed that the bilateral cataract operations on 3rd Sept had a better than expected result. My distance vision has improved so much that my driving glassss actually reduced the clarity. My near signt is improving by the day, proved by being able to read the time print here! I just may not need glassss. As for the colours: wow! They are now so viberant. The daglow hue of gas will wow me for a very long time. My deepest thank you to Mr Ratnarajan, Sally and everyone else who made this possible for me and so many others. I could write so much more, that actual operation, so slick, no pain just in awe of the whole proceedure, the hospital, staff, unexpected welcome light meal .. etc. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

I arrived at the appointed time, checked in with the receptionist given forms to complete which I completed & handed back to the receptionist, after waiting half an hour passed my appointment time I was still waiting to be seen, eventually my partner asked a male nurse if Mr Patel was running late, and we were told that we were the next to be seen, when we were invited in to see Mr Pater he was very apologetic for keeping us waiting saying that there had been an administrative error whereby he had been told that I hadn’t arrived for my appointment, Mr Patel commented that he thought that was strange as the paperwork I had compieted on my arrival was on his desk. So he realised that I was there but nobody had apparently bothered to check.

I have only had an initial interaction with one of the doctors at the female health doctor MK, so far I've fiubd the service to be very quick with a variation of cost affective options for the first conversation. I personally have been met with finally feeling heard from a professional in the medical field after a year and a half of constant GP appointments and being on referral waiting list for over a year. I have been advised about a test package to help me further with my specific issues, and have had nothing short of polite communication and quick responses. I would so far 100% recommend any female to reach out to this company for help with their health.

I was referred to Mr James Langdon for sciatica and lower back pain. I was very nervous about having any back surgery. James’s conservative approach to treatment was very reassuring with a no ‘gung ho’ attitude for a quick fix. Surgery was decompression and bone removal. On the day of my surgery James again explained the operation and the risks. The anaesthetist and nurses at the Spire Harpenden were excellent. Pain management and post op physio was also excellent. One month after my surgery I have no pain for the first time in many years and am walking about without any aid of any kind.
