Very chaotic administration after the initial consultation (errors and delays in invoicing, typos in the written opinion and delays in providing price information for surgery). I felt that the staff couldn't be bothered to get things moving and I had to keep chasing them. The package price quoted on the website for cataract surgery also turned out to be very misleading because the consultant wanted to charge an extra fee for fitting a toric lens, in addition to the extra cost of the lens itself. This pushed up the cost considerably. This extra, hidden, consultant's fee had not been made clear on the website and I felt that I had been induced into paying for a consultation on the back of misleading information about the cost of the surgery. The consultant may well have been an excellent surgeon (I don't know because I chose not to proceed) but these issues made me very uncomfortable and led me to lose complete confidence in the hospital. Going to Moorfields Private was a complete waste of time and money and the hospital ought to refund the consultation fee.

I saw Alex Townsend for a running injury on my foot/ankle via Bupa. He was very professional, provided great care, and was excellent at communicating his thought process as he inspected my injury. He was efficient and determined in getting me the necessary follow ups booked timely when I told him I had an upcoming race. He referred me to Dr. Burdon who was also very professional and provided great care. After our follow up, Alex provided me with useful training resources for foot taping and running. He performed walking and running gait analysis on me. It was insightful to hear his analysis, and it formed the basis for him to refer me for additional foot physio appointments to strengthen my foot and minimize chance of future injuries.

Catherine was absolutely fantastic and was incredibly helpful during a vulnerable period of time in my life. I was a few weeks post bowel surgery and struggling to eat. There was so much anxiety around what was safe and what wasn't so after several consultations with various practitioners, I chose Catherine. She was friendly, persoable and instantly made me feel at ease. Through her in depth knowledge and phased plan, I was able to regain confidence in enjoying my meals again. Since working with her, I have completely changed my diet and feel great as a result of doing so. I recently returned to Spire Hartswood Hospital for my post-hip replacement follow-up, and I was once again very impressed with the level of care. The staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely caring throughout my visit.. Everything ran smoothly and on time , and I felt well looked after from the moment I arrived. The facilities are spotless and comfortable, and the aftercare support has been excellent. I’m extremely pleased with my recovery and grateful to the entire team at Spire Hartswood for their continued professionalism and kindness!

Overall, I was very happy with the hospital, especially with our stay in the PICU. The nurses were exceptionally friendly, professional, and compassionate. During such a difficult time, their kindness and dedication made a huge difference. They not only cared for our child after surgery but also supported us as parents, showing patience and understanding throughout. We checked in early, due to traffic, 20 minutes early at 13.10 for an appointment at 13.30. At 14.05 I returned to the reception desk to ask why a large number of customers had arrived after us and been seen before and the Team Lead stated that she would check for me. She came back 3-4 minutes later to notify us that the reception staff had not booked us as arrived. We were told that they were sorry and that we would be moved to the front of the line. We did not have a very good experience with you.

From the consultation to the end results, Mr Mohan was professional and responsive. He has a skill of recognising what needs to be done for my frame and body shape. I no longer have loose skin and have a flat tummy (wearing size 8-10!). The opportunity to have two consultants operating in their expert fields meant I got the best results. I would strongly recommend the Abdominal Wall Clinic.

I love coming to the clinic. The stuff is very friendly. The waiting room is bright and the decor is very tasteful with a clear feminine touch. It is a space designed by women for women which I appreciate. I have come many times and I haven't waited for more than a few minutes to be seen. Coffee and tea available if you arrive early.
