For years, I contemplated breast enhancement and even attended a consultation before having children. I met with several surgeons, but from the moment I met Dr McLean, it was clear he was a cut above the rest. His knowledge and experience truly shone through, and his personal approach and guidance made the decision easy. The most daunting aspect wasn’t the surgery itself—I knew I was in safe hands—but the general anaesthetic, I had never been under anaesthesia before. However, I was thoroughly reassured by the anaesthetist and the entire team led by Dr McLean. They all provided a personal touch, which made a huge difference and gave me the reassurance I needed. Even though I had wanted this for years, it was still a big decision. The aftercare from Dr McLean has been nothing short of outstanding. He makes everything feel easy and straightforward, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience and more importantly the result. I love my new additions and wished I met Dr McLean years ago! I’ll be forever grateful.

Overall it went well. Manon has a very good communication, fast, clear and efficient. But when she was away, there were issues... These were the problems we've faced when she was away. On our first attempt, we got the results in 3 steps : - email with no attachment - then attachment without password - then we finally could see the result When you're awaiting the result badly, that really gets on your nerves! Then the biggest issue : on our second attempt, we didn't get an email telling us if we should start the triggering drug. We had to do researches ourselves, and gambling if we should to take it or not. We decided to take it, and we were right. To learn on the next day thatt Manon's substitute wrote the email, but did no send it; it was still draft. Great, almost a full cycle lost, with the expenses going with it!!! You definitely need more employees like Manon.

Our 7-year-old daughter had to go through surgery to repair a hole in her eardrum, and from the first visit to the last (just had the all clear on her successful operation), Mr Manjaly was exceptional. He guided us through the various options ahead of the procedure, including the potential implications and challenges. Still, he was also clear and reassuring about what he would do and what he expected as an outcome. All in all, he and his team were fantastic with our daughter’s experience, which was so good that she was never fearful of the operation or recovery. As always friendly, helpful and professional team. Had to wait for my appointment which was a little frustrating as had a taxi waiting. I understand there was an emergency that came in before me, but would have been nice to have been told so I could re organise my taxi. But that said the whole experience is great from start to finish. I would say though that filter coffee in flasks is not the best option for a good hospitality service for private patients? Bean to cups are so good these days I would suggest the flasks are replaced by these. The coffee each time I’ve been have been undrinkable.

Friendly staff at Main Reception who gave clear directions to Imaging Department. Department staff were friendly, professional and efficient. Radiographer was great - clear with his questions and explanations. Changing room was a good size, but would benefit from redecoration and coat hooks/hangers would be useful. Overall, a good experience, but would have liked the report to have been sent to the referrer quicker.

My recent experience with Freedom Vision was great. From moment of contact the staff were very attentive, efficient and very professional. I was out at ease straight away. The operation for both eyes went very smoothly and all the details were explained fully. I now can see perfectly and do not need to wear glasses at all . I would recommend Freedom Vision to anyone who is looking at corrective eyesight.

North Wales Eye Specialist Centre

My whole experience at the North Wales Eye Specialist Centre was positive. My initial phone calls were handled by friendly and knowledgeable staff; There were helpful directional signs to the centre itself and once inside I was greeted warmly and offered a beverage. Again, the clinical staff were friendly and I came away with a tremendous amount of relief and hope for my future vision.

I cannot praise the Horder Centre highly enough; the quality of the care and staff are beyond compare, always someone around to look after you, operation itself seems to have been excellent (four and a half weeks so far). This is the second hip I have had replaced here, the first was completely recovered in a couple of months, so anticipate something similar this time.

I would have no wish to see any one else but Dr Kumar. Certainly would recommend him to any patient needing a cardiologist. Such empathy from a very top cardiologist.

The 2 and half hour waiting time for a 5-minute test was severely dissatisfying. The endoscope tube was much too thick, thicker than it is necessary perhaps. Nowadays the medical technology is much advanced and I truly believe a thinner tube can do the job sufficiently as well as improving patient comfort.

I thought the care and the way the proceedure went smoothly was excellent. Please thank the staff Recovery has exceeded expectations, very little discomfort and no real need for pain relief. I was a bit concerned that because recovery was so good I might undo something !
