The team at Newmedica from the receptionists to the optometrists, nurses and Mr Anjari my consultant were so welcoming and made me feel at ease from the moment I arrived. I was quite anxious about having cataract surgery, but the team made me feel relaxed each time I visited. Mr Anjari was very reassuring and spent time helping me decide which lenses were right for me. The surgery was quick, and painless - so efficient., I had no need to worry about going back for the second one. The aftercare was excellent too with a phone check up and another thorough appointment. Mr Anjari helped me choose Galaxy lenses … I can’t believe how clearly I can see near and far ! It is nothing short of miraculous after living in a blur for years! I am now able to read the smallest print yet look across a field and identify birds in the trees. I’ll be forever thankful to Mr Anjari and his team for the transformation of my sight.

I went in for total hip replacement on 2nd December with Mr Cusick. Form beginning to end I was made to feel very welcome by all of the staff. The main day nurse dealing with me was Caroline Leddy who was exceptional both before the op and then during the after care. Mark was the main night time nurse and again he couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. The physio, Heather, also deserves a mention for her lovely manner and clear instructions and advice. The procedure went very smoothly and I was surprised at how relatively little pain there was post op. Both consultants, Mr Cusick and Dr McCaffrey saw me before the surgery and again the next day. Both were friendly and reassuring and helped to keep the mood stress free. The catering was also fantastic. I was discharged the following day and, sitting at home barely 24 hr later, it was hard to believe what had just happened! Thank you All!

From the initial consultation to the procedure itself, she was incredibly professional, empathetic and understanding. She too the time to explain every detial clearly, ensuring I was fully informed before I signed Andy consent forms. During the procedure, she and her team were reassuring and friendly, which put me at ease. Afterwards, she provided clear aftercare advice and confirmed the next steps for my follow-up. I had an acute pain in my right leg and had difficulty walking. Having had IDD treatment at Osteopath West before for sciatica I called and was given an appointment later that day. On arrival i was given a thorough examination and it was decided that I most likely had a pulled muscle as well as a nerve issue. I had some deep massage on my back and leg followed by an IDD session. The result today is that the pain is considerably better and i can now walk mush better than before. I am grateful for the prompt appointment and the service I received and would recommend Osteopath West to people in a similar position.

When I telephoned to make my appointment - during early afternoon -your receptionist was amazing! So many times since pandemic, in my experience businesses seem to have cut back on providing that so important first line of contact with a person who is friendly, welcoming and listens making intelligent comments and is really helping the caller. This was one if the best experiences I have met with lately - I can't praise the young lady enough - she's a real asset to the Practice. Mark was also amazing - but I've had treatment from his before some years ago so I knew what to expect and wasn't disappointed!

He explained what i had understood / been told what Surgery I would need / wouldn’t need and what I needed to assuage pain . He made a diagnosis clearer He ordered 2 injections fir 2 different regions . As it was a holiday time , it was distressing to learn I would have to wait almost a fortnight for injections as there was no skeleton staff available
