Excellent bedside manner with a true desire to get to the bottom of a problem. Free from the often occurring "I am so brilliant vibes" that I at times got from other consultants. Refreshing down to earth, approachable, very friendly. Most importantly, excellent listening skills, does not try to convenience you of a diagnosis after only hearing a quarter but appears to be thorough before making up his mind. Excellent communicator, who gets a patient fully involved, showing pictures to explain and explaining what he sees on a screen. I initially was a bit apprehensive thinking, hmmm has not got 3 decades of experience like some practitioners I saw in the past. On reflection, a good thing, still greatly motivated to make a difference and passionate about what he does. Deos not leave you feel watching the clock (he went over time, thank you) or rushed. Overall so far a positive experience (first consultation). I usually don't leave long feedbacks but if someone "goes the extra mile", so will I. Most importantly, if you had negative experiences before with consultants causing you pain/flare ups in the night and following day(s) due to handling you roughly during an examination, then give Dr Raiman a try. He very carefully moved my limbs with utmost consideration during the necessary examination, which helps building trust.

I had a very good experience with Visio Health when I had recent laser treatment following cataract surgery on both eyes with Ms Sandhu. The cataract surgery, which took place in hospital in July and October, has been very successful. I no longer need glasses after having vision corrective lenses. And I hadn’t realised quite how blurred and sepia my sight had become. My vision is now very clear and bright. It really has positively impacted my life. Everything looks like it did back when I was young. It’s so much more cheerful than that blurry, yellow sight that I had grown so used to. And I am so much more confident when driving. No more night glare. I was really apprehensive and anxious about cataract surgery. So much so that it was decided that I would have the procedure under general anaesthetic. But I can honestly say that despite all the worry the end result is better than I could have imagined. The laser treatment at Visio to improve my sight further with one session of laser treatment was totally painless, very straightforward and uncomplicated. The clinic was very well organised and the staff were all lovely. A very good experience.

I recently saw Mr Shanmuganandan for investigation of bowel issues and couldn't be happier with the care I received. From the initial consultation through to follow-up, Arun was clear, thorough, and reassuring. He explained the endoscopy process in detail beforehand, so I knew exactly what to expect. The procedure itself at Shirley Oaks Hospital went smoothly. There was a slight delay to the start time—understandable given it was the first session after the Christmas break—but this was communicated and didn't affect the quality of care. The procedure was efficient and went as well as you could hope for something that's inherently not pleasant. What I particularly appreciated was Arun's approach to communication. He was keen to give me feedback immediately after the procedure, which I valued, and the follow-up has been thorough with clear next steps. Highly recommended for anyone needing colorectal investigation or treatment.

Attended for a blood test. I’ve had multiple bad experiences with blood tests over the years. This is primarily because I have very small and narrow veins which disappear with the touch of a needle..☹️ I find the whole experience extremely painful and distressing … I explained all of this to Debbie, the wonderful and kind nurse who attended me. She was brilliant! Totally put me at ease and was incredibly supportive and gentle. I was definitely a challenge for her as my veins were completely uncooperative per usual. But she took her time and used the smallest needle possible to minimise any discomfort. She succeeded in the end and managed to get enough blood for a full blood count!! Miraculous! I am so very grateful to Debbie for turning a potentially very upsetting and negative experience into a positive outcome. She has helped me to regain a little more confidence in having my blood taken again. Thank you Debbie! 😊

I had a really great experience at this private GP appointment and couldn’t fault it. From the moment I arrived, the staff were absolutely lovely, welcoming, and professional, which instantly put me at ease. The whole appointment felt calm and well organised, with no rushing at all. Dr Owen Weeks was fantastic — very kind, reassuring, and took the time to listen properly. He explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made me feel genuinely comfortable and cared for. It was such a refreshing experience compared to feeling rushed elsewhere. Overall, it was a great doctor’s appointment and well worth going private. I left feeling reassured and confident, and I would highly recommend this service to anyone considering it. I wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future if I ever need to — a truly positive experience from start to finish.

Having waited for an appointment for approximately two years, I felt nervous and apprehensive the morning of my appointment. Despite this, after a few moments speaking with Doctor Pirjamali, I felt more calm. Although we discussed some difficult topics such as grief and an eating disorder, he maintained an easy-going, nonjudgemental, professional and informative manner. Our chat was thorough and after the appointment had come to a natural end, I felt relieved knowing that no stone had been left unturned. Doctor Pirjamali came across as kind and extremely knowledgeable in the areas of ADHD and ( although he referred me to speak further to the titration team regarding this) ADHD medication. I I highly recommend him as a Doctor, especially if you are nervous.

When I entered the premises I couldn’t believe the transformation that had taken place as I was familiar with the building when it was a hairdressing salon. It was spacious, immaculate and tranquil. Having been quite anxious before my appointment, I quickly relaxed as all the staff were extremely friendly and kind. All the tests were performed swiftly and smoothly with every concern for my comfort and my understanding of the procedures involved. Mrs. Matthews explained my forthcoming cataract surgery clearly, comprehensively and reassuringly and I was very pleased to be offered the surgery I such a short space of time. All in all I couldn’t have wished for a better experience with North Wales Eye Specialist Centre.

The waiting area had few chairs and not enough for the people waiting. The people around there that gave me paperwork and told me where to wait, were polite and helpful. The appointment with the consultant was really distressing, I couldn't ask questions and didn't discussed with me the plan, just set up steps without getting me involved on her treatment plan. This experience was very negative from what I expected when you go to a professional asking for advice and reviewing if your body is working well. He was excellent in every way. He had a superior knowledge of the issue I was presenting with, did a thorough physical exam and ordered further tests to pinpoint the problem. He was courteous and approachable and an excellent communicator. I feel as though I am in good hands, finally, w/ this orthopedic issue (for which I've seen several doctors in the past), and I am confident that a surgery performed by him on it will result in success and alleviate the pain I have been living w/ for too long.
