We opted for private care at UCLH because we wanted the birth experience to be as positive as possible. As a medically uncomplicated patient I felt that I may not receive much attention or time on an overstretched NHS ward. I also had some anxieties around birth (as a healthcare professional myself) and felt reassured to be receiving consultant-led care, from a clinician with whom I was able to build a trusting relationship. Shalini provided exceptional care from 32 weeks pregnancy and after delivery. She got to know me and my partner, and understood our priorities and concerns. I had previously found it hard to make decisions around birth. Shalini provided us with evidence, data and her experience - this empowered us to make our decisions. She spent a lot of time with us and brought great care, empathy and kindness to her practice, as well as her excellent clinical skills. When we had questions, fears or anxieties Shalini was able to reassure us, both with her kindness and her experience and expertise. The care she provides is holistic and individualised - she advocated for me in many ways and empowered me to advocate for myself too. We had an elective caesarean at 39 weeks. The surgery was pain free and crucially for me, I felt confident and safe - something that was not natural for me in approaching birth. Shalini was close at hand to care for us before and afterwards. I made an excellent recovery and have healed extremely well. I recommend Dr Shalni in the strongest terms to mothers and families looking for private care at UCLH. Shalini is passionate about obstetrics, her patients and practising medicine. It is a great privilege to be cared for by a clinician at the top of her field, who clearly cares deeply about her patients.

Very professional experienced physio. Nahor set clear goals from a holistic standpoint - focusing on regaining confidence, reducing pain and improving movement & feeling in the foot. He gave thorough explanations with many variations and tailored each session to address any concerns from the previous week. When I began physio with Nahor I had no movement in my toe and severe swelling in my foot as a result of starting physio 4 weeks later than recommended post bunion op. At this point I did not believe I would be able to get back to my previous active lifestyle. 6 weeks later I am back to regained movement and am back to gym, yoga and almost able to perform a lunge. Throughout the process Nahor created a calm, motivating environment which helped me progress further than I imagined.

It was such a brilliant experience. I had treatment for my frozen shoulder and the staff from the receptionists to the consultant to the assistant to the nurses were absolutely brilliant. As a business owner, I strive for this type of customer service and your staff are the best representatives of perfection in their offering. I recently returned to Spire Hartswood Hospital for my post-hip replacement follow-up, and I was once again very impressed with the level of care. The staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely caring throughout my visit.. Everything ran smoothly and on time , and I felt well looked after from the moment I arrived. The facilities are spotless and comfortable, and the aftercare support has been excellent. I would very highly recommend the Clayton ward. We have had two babies there and were really well looked after by kind, happy staff (doctors, midwives, assistants, catering and reception) who taught us a huge amount about how to care for a newborn. Having access to 121 support from midwives anytime day or night is just invaluable. The food was very good (for hospital food) and we genuinely looked forward to it each day - it really helped us recover as sleep deprived parents.

Was overnight stay at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, all staff were very polite and courteous to myself and the other 5 people within the ward during my stay. The team were very attentive to each individuals needs, which made for a pleasant stay. Asked all questions (clearly from script/list of qs), even when already discussed and known as irrelevant, or already covered the answer. Exercises provided in technical terms only, hard for lay person to remember and understand. Zero follow up even though it was promised.
