Dear Team, I would like to provide feedback, as my experience at Harley Street Specialist Hospital has genuinely changed my life. I want to say how incredibly grateful and eternally indebted I am to my surgeon, Mr Luke Cascarini. He has given me a completely new lease of life. He is not only an outstanding surgeon but an exceptional human being, and I cannot thank him enough for the care, precision, and compassion he showed throughout my entire journey. I would also like to express my heartfelt thanks to Janet, Dr Bosh, and all the nursing staff, as well as every member of the team right down to the wonderful ladies on reception, including Marianne. There are too many to name individually, but every single person played a role in making this experience extraordinary. The hospital itself does not feel like a hospital at all — it feels more like a health retreat where you leave as a better version of yourself. The environment, the warmth, and the standard of care are truly exceptional. For anyone suffering from sleep apnea, as I was, or dealing with any of the conditions treated by your specialists, I could not recommend HSSH and Mr Luke Cascarini more highly. Arrived early Saturday morning for a small knee operation. Taken to my room by a lovely friendly porter. Was invited immediately by catering to make a choice of food from an excellent menu. Then seen by nurses, anaesthetist, surgeon, who all explained exactly what was going to happen, in a relaxing manner, giving me complete confidence in their care. I was soon taken to theatre by the lovely chatty nurse & porter, that had been with me from my arrival. They obviously had a happy working relationship, including me in their chat to make me feel more relaxed. The anaesthetist was lovely, chatting about Christmas whilst calmly letting me drift into sleep. I woke up feeling well & refreshed, taken back to my room for a cuppa & delicious sandwich. The nurses continued their careful monitoring of me & I was soon seen by the physiotherapist who explained about the importance of my post-exercise sheet & use of crutches. Then a visit by Mr Slack, my amazing surgeon that had previously done my hip replacement, who explained what he’d done, that all had gone well, discharging me to go home & it’s only early afternoon. My painkillers arrive, my home instruction booklet is completed, I can go home. What fantastic care from all the staff & medical team, many thanks to you all.

Mr Shekhar arranged to see me at short notice when I was terribly suffering from lower back pain/ right leg pain. Initial consultation was efficient whilst still taking the time to understand the background of what happened. He also took the time to explain what his initial thoughts were but arranged an MRI scan to confirm his thoughts. MRI scan results were shared with me very comprehensively and Mr Shekhar gave me a list of options with realistic outcome possibilities for each including success rate, details of how the procedure would take place etc… I opted for a nerve block injection which Mr Shekhar performed himself in theatre. I’m never sick and don’t get injured so all this was a first to me but his explanations throughout (including during the procedure) made me feel at ease. Whilst the pain is not fully gone (which I knew was a risk), it has improved in the weeks following the injection and I am now hoping time will do the rest.

Dr. Izquierdo was welcoming and professional, setting me at ease from the very outset of the appointment. I had a concern that it had been a while since the incident that had caused me to need to visit a doctor, and as such, I thought explanation and initial diagnosis would be more difficult. Dr. Izquierdo, however, was accomplished at not making me feel like that and the technique he used to explore my view of my full health and lifestyle enabled us both to understand not only the injury but how I had reached this point in the context of a multifaceted life. Even before we reached the point of diagnosis for the actual injury I felt the visit had been beneficial. Dr. Izquierdo's proposal for further investigations was exactly what I had hoped for and set me on the path to focused and appropriate further treatment.

We chose Montrose as they appeared on a lot of ‘Right to Choose’ websites and were rated by the CQC and as soon as I called Mollie and the team’s support has been superb. The charges and plans were shared upfront and were explained well. We paid to have a private Adult ADHD assessment and the speed of the booking / assessment/report/ treatment plans and meetings were quick. Communication was excellent and most of all the support was top notch and expert. We have felt very supported and very secure that we are getting the best life changing support. Marwan was superb. Even though he was fully booked, he went out of his way to find a slot for me. During the consultation he listened carefully to how I sustained my injury and, using his ultrasound scanner, explained the structural issues involved and likely healing time. He also provided my physio with the detailed information needed to create an effective rehab plan. Marwan is clearly an expert in his field, and I felt comfortable and well-informed throughout the entire process, which was incredibly reassuring.

I had a great experience at this practice. The hospital was exceptionally clean, well-structured, and very well organized. There was hardly any waiting time, and I was called in for my appointment surprisingly quickly. The facilities were also outstanding. Both the hospital itself and the X-ray department were equipped with modern, high-quality technology, which made the whole process smooth and efficient. Overall, it was an impressive and reassuring experience.

I brought me 4-year-old daughter to see Mr Siau because of concerns about her breathing at night. The wait for an NHS appointment was too long and not many private hospitals are able to see or treat children. I was able to get an appointment within a week with Mr Siau at Leigh Infirmary, and my daughter is now booked in for surgery. The consultation was straightforward and the process was made clear and I am glad we don't have to join the long waiting list!

They are a very clear and straightforward doctor. However if you need any follow up, or want a correct follow up letter detailing your appointment/diagnosis or need to contact their secretary I would advise seeing another doctor especially if you are paying privately or else you will be chasing for weeks with no answer and being promptly ignored. It's a real shame that the aftercare was so poor.
