That clarity and reassurance made an enormous difference to my confidence going into surgery. The aftercare was equally superb. He explained what was happening at each stage of my recovery, what the expected outcomes were, and made me feel genuinely supported throughout. His communication was outstanding, and I always felt listened to and cared for. The recovery itself has been the best I’ve ever experienced, and the improvement to my quality of life has been remarkable. I am incredibly grateful for his skill, expertise, and compassion. He is truly exceptional at what he does, and I feel so fortunate to have been under his care. Thank you so much for helping me, for fixing the problem that had affected me for so long, and for doing it with such professionalism and kindness. The general experience was excellent - all the staff readily on call any time of the day or night. Although I had some blood pressure problems, it was dealt with efficiently. I would like to identify Aiden as a particularly lovely person who made me feel very relaxed in a stressful situation. The physios were also very good. I would have liked a more detailed discharge plan for exercises to aid my recovery. The pain killers given on discharge seem to be only mildly effective and my pain level remains quite high. I have a lot of bruising on my thigh, which l wasn't told as a possibility. I wasn't given any information about ways to help with the stiffness. Overall, I would recommend the hospital to anyone

Dr Michael Wilson I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Michael Wilson and the care I received for my hernia repair. From my first consultation through to post-operative follow-up, Dr. Wilson was professional, reassuring, and extremely thorough. He took the time to clearly explain the procedure, answer all my questions, and put me completely at ease. The surgery itself went smoothly, thanks to his skill and attention to detail. I felt genuinely cared for throughout the entire process, and the results have been excellent. Dr. Wilson is an outstanding surgeon who combines expertise with compassion, and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing hernia repair or surgical care.

I’ve been with Medical Prime for 4 years and I can’t recommend Dr Theodora Kalentzi highly enough. Menopause symptoms can creep up on you,. It’s easy to ignore if not extreme but over time you can lose your former self. It doesn’t have to be that way. Dr Kalentzi offers a highly personalised approach to finding the right type af HRT for each patient. Visits for me are a time to focus on me and my overall health and wellbeing. Dr Kalentzi makes her patients feel at ease and truly delivers life transformation results for women going through the menopause.

Mr Alistair Balfour

I saw Mr Balfour regarding a persistent long term balance disorder. He listened very attentively and took the time to carefully review my past medical tests and reports. He was then able to suggest the next step forward to find the root problem looking at my symptoms from a different viewpoint which was quite refreshing as I felt no one had considered what I had been explaining in the past. Whether the tests will reveal the problem or not I am very grateful to Mr Balfour for his knowledge and professionalism.

During my appointment, I was recommended a series of creams, and I did purchase them. I was a bit taken aback by the total expense at checkout, as the cost wasn't explicitly mentioned or discussed during our consultation. I was simply asked if I wanted to purchase them here today. It would also have been helpful for me as a patient to understand if there were any alternative products available through NHS, even if they weren't the primary recommendation.

From being referred by someone who knows him well, I was predisposed to like him and respect his expertise, but hadn't expected to find such a a courteous, thoughtful, kind man who engaged with every aspect of me as a patient. Mr Lambert answered all my questions and was patient and understanding. I felt listened to, for the first time since I had my injury.

My knee has recovered very well and it has not been a bad experience at all. I was terrified before the operation but I was reassured by the anaesthetist that I would be fine. I had a large incisional hernia operation that ran a full length of my abdomen, Dr Bhardwaj was excellent, very professional very approachable, and kept me fully informed of what was required and how he was going to operate. I’m now 5 weeks post op and have healed up beautifully with a very neat scar, his needle work is worthy of Savile Row! I can’t recommend him enough.
