Delamere has been a godsend to me. From the first moment I contact them to the final day of my stay, they were warm, professional and caring. Each and every member of staff, from the cleaning teams to the senior leaders has the best interests of guests at heart. Delamere is a caring and friendly community which focuses on the needs of the individual, but in such a way that the programme does not feel over-medicalised. The care and attention given from the nursing team is second to none and nothing is too much trouble. They explain everything to you in a way you can understand and always have time for questions or queries. The guest liaison team are approachable and helpful as well as supportive and kind. The quality of the group session is excellent and well-thought through to support you on you recovery journey. This is exemplified by the outstanding quality of therapy and mentoring I received throughout my time at Delemere. The chefs are excellent and proved a nutritious and balanced diet which is excellent quality. The team as re also friendly and welcoming. What was special about Delemere is the personal touch. Every member of staff knew your name and was happy to chat about any issues you might have at any time of day. I cannot thank the staff enough for the opportunity they have given me to get my life back on track. I wholeheartedly recommend Delemere for anyone needing their expertise and support.

I first saw Mr Arora in 2023, for help with my sinuses and nose. From the first appointment, Dr Arora was welcoming and keen to properly understand my situation. In particular, I never felt rushed. Opting to exhaust non-surgical options before committing to surgery, I saw Dr Arora a number of times over the following year. Each time, he would take time to assess progress and walk me through options and explain what was actually happening in my nose/sinuses. Ultimately, we opted for surgery and in November 2025 I had a septoplasty and some work on my sinuses. The surgery went very well, and the care before and after was really appreciated. I am now breathing a lot better and have a notable reduction in sinus pressure (which should hopefully continue to decrease over the following months) I would highly recommend Dr Arora and am very grateful for his treatment over the last few years. His office, notably Emma B, is also very helpful and responsive. Thank you!

I am currently undergoing treatment at Bourn Hall. At every single step the members of staff have exhibited amazing customer service. Every single nurse, receptionist, doctor, anaesthetist, embryologist, pharmacist and everyone there has been respectful, kind, gentle, reassuring, calm and knowledgeable. In particular, Nurse Dawn at Cambridge has gone above and beyond to support me as an autistic patient. She has patiently answered all my questions, made adjustments for my comfort, and reassured me over and over again. She even popped my teddy from my bag onto my bed for me when I was recovering from general anaesthetic which was so touching and thoughtful. I am also particularly thankful to the embryologist team who also have found ways to adhere to my special requests. I'm also thankful to the anaesthetist who held my hand as I fell asleep under general anaesthetic because I was so frightened. I cannot fault our experience at Bourn Hall.

My entire experience with Dr Gamble and the staff has always been outstanding. My appointments are greeted with polite and friendly staff and everything is on time. I find Dr Gamble very friendly and easy to discuss my health matters with. He explains everyone very well and I always receive his report very shortly after my visit. It's nice not to have to try and remember the details of our discussions. I definitely that Dr Gamble listens and understands my feelings when we do discuss my health condition. I feel personally attended and not like the "next patient".

It was a relief to finally be referred to Mr Shetty after struggling elsewhere with diagnosis. He explained the problem, answered my questions, and in a way in which I felt comfortable, reassured, and not at all rushed. Although late as unavoidably held up by traffic he made time for us beyond his practice hours. He was extremely pleasant, and regarding the necessary treatment, I had no doubt I was in excellent hands. Should I need to see an orthopaedic spinal surgeon again, I will be contacting Mr Shetty again for his care and his skill

Mr Rob Bethune

I met mr Rob Bethune at a preliminary meeting to discuss having a hernia repair. He explained everything very clearly and I decided to go ahead and have it done. On the day of the procedure I was escorted to a room to await my turn. The procedur was done under a local anesthletic and took about an hour and I was conscious all the time and then taken back to my room. I was allowed home after about an hour. I was a bit uncomfortable for about a week but have been 100 percent since with no repercussions. Mr Rob Bethune is a great surgeon.

Mr Ahmed explained to me what he had done in my procedure and showed me pictures of where the endometriosis was and I was very impressed by his skills to remove the endometriosis as was so close to my some of my organs and im grateful as didn't have any problems healing and very happy with the way my scars have healed. Every one I met at the Princess Grace Hospital was most pleasant and attentive from the reception staff to the nursing staff. All of the nurses I met from the initial welcome on the 5th floor on 19/11/25 to both Halima and Fernanda who looked after me during the night and day were all especially kind to me. there were many others but unfortunately I did not write down their names. I think it would be difficult to think of a better place to be a patient.

He gave me a clear explanation of what had been done and what they had tried to achieve, and I was able to discuss with him how things are likely to move forward and when I could expect the new hip to have settled down. He dealt with all my questions to my satisfaction. I left with a clear picture of what to expect. I had ample time to raise any issues.

Dr Karamanakos was very reassuring, explained everything very clearly and has a great way of making you feel at ease. The surgery went as predicted, minimal discomfort and after about a week I did not need any painkillers at all. The surgery site healed very quickly, without any problems at all. Overall I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Karamanakos and I’m very glad I chose home for my hernia surgery.
