I feel both immensely privileged and incredibly lucky to have had the good fortune to be treated by Professor Sanjay Purkayastha: he is a deeply impressive surgeon and doctor. I had a laparoscopic LINX procedure with hiatus hernia repair under him to treat GORD and, from the outset, he radiated calm, collected competence, superabundant capability and the right kind of assurance in a way that could only inspire confidence. He was also endlessly patient with my numerous questions, posed over a considerable period of time (some of them more than once), while I made up my mind about the right way ahead for me. He gave me an absolute sense of being in the best possible hands, and there can’t be much that is more important than this before significant surgery. With him you feel you are getting not only the best that he can do, but the very best that could be done anywhere. He goes the extra mile for you so that you also feel that nothing matters more to him than you personally and your individual outcome, and that all of his self-evidently exceptional skill, authority and determination will be focused accordingly. He convinced me of this at our first meeting, and it's since been more than justified. He communicates superbly: technically, as a surgeon, in explaining your situation and the options plainly and simply; but also on a human level, with empathy that embodies compassion and control, putting you at your ease in a troubling situation so that your trust is complete. Crucially, all of this was then borne out by the results. I have not had a single recurrence of GORD since the procedure, and I was amazed at how swift, trouble-free and complete was my recovery (even though he had been quite clear about what issues I might experience - in the event there was nothing of note), how little discomfort was involved (for which I must also give credit to his close partnership with anaesthetist Dr Alex Wickham), and how minimal were the residual marks. Frankly, at this level of skill, five stars are not enough. Sanjay Purkayastha is a star himself and would be my surgeon of choice without hesitation or reservation for anything within his specialty as I cannot imagine one better.

The receptionist knew I had travelled from North Wales to see the best spinal surgeon in London and was looking to get my scans same day upstairs but had nothing for that day very kindly said couldn't see anything at Portland place. As we walked out the the ground floor we thought to ask about the other clinics. So we asked the receptionist sat to the far right as you walk in. Instead of checking to see what was available she had this scowl on her face and basically said "computer says no" - she didn't check availability for CT, X-RAY & MRI we had informed her we forgot to ask and she responded "well im sure my colleague looked at all options anyway". Could you check anyway Mr Russo assured us it was possible? "Too busy". We didn't want to make a scene, but felt it very insulting and disrespectful that she didn't actually check anything as we felt she was being prejudicial or in a poor mood. later I got a call from a helpful member of staff who actually informed me that they could fir me in for all 3 appointments same day. So as it turns out we were right. Just goes to show how miserable a member of staff is if they are willing to make someone with a spinal disease who can barely walk suffer or pay another £700 visit to London + 150 for the consult via private insursnce. Very upset about this person and the receptionist to Vitorio Russo is very unhelpful I had to be very rude to get him to do his job TWICE and in all honesty he has yet to do his job. It's like the place is filled with lazy unhelpful people with zero empathy/sympathy. If they walked a day in my shoes... I need not finish the sentence. Sort the staff out. This is unacceptable especially given this is a private clinic. The NHS are kinder... And That's saying something given the dragon receptionists I've met.

6-Month Review – Romford Hair Growth Centre with Dr Vishal Nayak I honestly can’t recommend the Romford Hair Growth Centre highly enough. From start to finish the whole experience has been outstanding – the customer care before, during and after surgery was excellent, and the team really went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Dr Vishal Nayak is an amazing lead doctor – extremely skilled, reassuring, and clearly passionate about getting the best results for his patients. What’s blown me away most are the results. They have far exceeded my expectations – I went into this after a friend’s recommendation, not really knowing what to expect, but six months later I have a full head of hair again (even a quiff has made a return!). The transformation has given me back confidence I didn’t realise I’d lost. On top of all that, the price was far more reasonable than I imagined for this level of quality in the UK. It really did feel like taking a chance at the start, but I couldn’t be happier with how it’s turned out. If you’re considering a hair transplant, I’d wholeheartedly recommend Dr Vishal Nayak and the team at the Romford branch – truly first class.

Upon meeting Jennifer she instantly made me feel at ease. She thoroughly went through my medical history both before on telephone conversation then face to face upon arrival at the Pines Hospital. The whole procedure was disscused with inckuding any concerns about having the Roux en Y versus the gastric sleeve. We opted for the Gastric sleeve to be done because of past kidney operation and heart complications. Herself and the anaesthetist explained full the procedure and options avaikabke to me a d untably left the decison to myself were i opted for the gastric sleeve. I must say the care and precision of fhe whole operation as been excellent. Jennifer is a lovely surgeon who makes you feel at ease, imformative and excellent bedside manner. Couldnt of wished for a better surgeon to look after me and the whole team at Pines. I would certainly recommend the facilities and care of everyone here. Mr Khalid Al-Dadah

I have recently had reconstructive ACL surgery under Mr Al-Dadah, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From the very first consultation through to the operation and aftercare, everything was handled with the highest level of professionalism and care. Mr. Al-Dadah explained everything clearly pre-surgery which put me completely at ease, and the procedure itself went really well. I have actually been extremely surprised at my rate of recovery; Mr Al-Dadah came and saw me straight after surgery and told me that I was able to weight bear immediately - within 48 hours of having the operation I was walking without crutches. Only a week after the operation I had started (albeit for short periods) using a stationary bike following advice from my physio. I had an appointment Monday just gone to get my stitches / dressings removed - I could not believe how neat everything looked. I really can’t fault a single part of the process, and I can't speak of Mr. Al-Dadah highly enough – Highly recommend to anyone needing ACL surgery!

Claire Sewter's speedy visit and diagnosis was reassuring and clearly highly professional. She was highly knowledgeable and provided really practical advice and support. I have followed the recommended programme carefully and left feedback or email responses that Claire has followed up regularly. The stretches and exercises that were given, have helped me to improve and recover my physical condition, quickly, and after 4 weeks I am feeling a lot stronger, and better overall. As this was the 3rd time I have approached Let's Go Physio for help - with different injuries - I can recommend them unreservedly - and have done so already with a few people.

I have had 3 procedures with Ms. Zweifel, the latest of which was in Theatre via local anaesthetic. Ms. Zweifel & all her Theatre team were very professional & the atmosphere in Theatre was very calm, which was very reassuring. At every stage of the procedure I was told by Ms. Zweifel what was happening, & everyone in Theatre was very kind, which helped so much as a procedure in Theatre under local anaesthetic can be very daunting. Ms. Zweifel is very professional, calm & she an excellent 'bedside manor', which I feel is so very important, I would thoroughly recommend Ms. Zweifel.

Car parking can be a problem. There are some local side streets with the odd space or Sainsbury is about a 20 minute walk, think you get about 3 hours. I had my operation on a Saturday and the place seemed very quiet and peaceful, one member of staff said it's more chaotic in the week. Parking was easy at 7.30am on Saturday but I had been dropped off anyway. There are buses that stop nearby from Macclesfield bus station but I haven't tried them. It's lovely to have your own room, particularly if you're a very sensitive person. The staff on the whole treat you with respect.

We have seen Dr. Jawad for both of our boys over the last few years, and I have never met a doctor as kind and professional with children. My eldest son has always been very scared of doctors, but Dr. Jawad made him feel completely comfortable — it was the first time I had ever seen my son so at ease during an appointment. Dr. Jawad always takes his time, carries out a thorough check-up, and treats the children with such care and respect. Honestly, he is the best doctor we have ever seen, and we are so grateful for the way he looks after our boys.

(Program included a Chiropractor and 2 Physiotherapists - Soft tissue and Exercise) Following my initial diagnosis, which was both thorough and explanatory, I always received a warm welcome at Reception which helps when you are feeling fragile. The program mixed between all three experts and I only ever had to wait a few minutes for my scheduled appointment. Each expert was friendly, professional and put me at ease straight away.
