⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Care from Mr Isaac Ahmed – Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon I had my hip replaced in October 2025 and I cannot speak highly enough of Mr Isaac Ahmed. From my very first consultation through to the day I was discharged, the entire process was absolutely second to none. Mr Ahmed is without doubt one of the most approachable, empathetic, and genuinely caring surgeons I have ever encountered. Having undergone a variety of procedures with different consultants over the years, I can confidently say that his care truly stands out as five-star in every sense. The surgical team he worked with at The Spire were equally exceptional. Their professionalism was evident throughout, yet they also created such a calm and reassuring atmosphere. Even with plenty of laughter in the anaesthetist’s room, I felt completely at ease and confident that I was in the best possible hands. My recovery has been remarkable. I had no issues following surgery, was off sticks and crutches within three weeks, and by week seven I was moving freely with no pain at all. Thank you, Mr Ahmed, for an outstanding surgical experience and for giving me my mobility back. I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone considering hip replacement surgery.

I recently completed a course of CBT sessions with Dr Sharon Pettit, focusing on managing my anxiety, worry, and rumination. When I first began, I struggled significantly with social interactions, often feeling socially awkward and fixating on past conversations. My mind would race with worries about things entirely beyond my control, pushing my anxiety levels to an all-time high. It felt like I was in a constant state of fight or flight, from the moment I woke up until I went to bed, leaving me completely drained. Now, almost six months later, I've gained valuable tools to help manage my thoughts and emotions. While I wouldn’t say I’m completely cured, I feel about 75% better and am now enjoying a much happier life. I've decided to take a break from CBT for the time being, but I'm committed to returning if I notice my anxiety levels rising again.

I first saw Professor Finlay as an NHS patient in January 2025 and one of the first things he said was that he could definitely improve my heart arrhythmia and improve my quality of life. My son needed to have two teeth extracted prior to being fitted with braces the following month. The dentist was extremely caring - especially as the procedure proved to be quite difficult due to the large roots of the teeth being pulled. It took an hour for the first tooth to finally come out - and the dentist recommended that a second appointment be made to minimise the amount of trauma caused extracting both teeth in one go. The appointment was made while the procedure was still ongoing - which was very efficient and was a relief for my son.
