Moving to a new country was supposed to be an exciting fresh start, but instead I found myself struggling with depression and anxiety in ways I'd never experienced before. She understood the complexity of what I was going through - it wasn't just about feeling low, it was about grief, identity, belonging, and rebuilding my life from scratch. She created such a compassionate space whilst also helping me develop practical strategies to manage both the depression and anxiety. I'm still in therapy, but the difference is remarkable. I can handle difficult days so much better now. I've got tools that actually work, and more importantly, I've found hope again. I can see a future here that feels possible, even good. The anxiety doesn't consume me the way it did, and the depression has lifted enough that I can engage with my new life rather than just surviving it. Mr Bhattacharyya is a fantastic Consultant and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for expert and friendly ENT care. Our son was under his care for two years for persistant glue ear and moderate hearing loss upon referral. From our initial consultation (with hearing test on site), we felt instantly reassured our son would be supported into full hearing. Mr Bhattacharyya initially tried some non surgical methods and as these didn't improve his condition sufficiently (as he anticipated would be the case), he then soon performed our son's surgery himself and was very mindful in putting both parents and child at ease. He then carefully monitored Michael post surgery and then thereafter as and when needed (e.g. check ups, any infections, providing advice). He has an excellent manner with children putting them at ease. Likewise his two audiologists and secretary are also fantastic. We feel delighted with his care; Mr Bhattacharyya gave our son the opportunity to hear properly and for everything to be carefully monitored for him starting school.

My daughter has been seeing a physiotherapist since she was a toddler and has carried on once we moved from London. Her physiotherapist in Central Bedfordshire requested that we have a consultation with Dr Verma and his team in 2023. We had a meeting with the physiotherapist, Dr Verma and his team to review what could be done to help my daughter. Her feet were turned in, her legs were turned in and her hips are turned in. We decided that we would correct the right foot first, then we would move on to the left foot and then when she is in her late teens her hips. We have been fully informed of the procedures and the recovery time throughout the process. After having the right food done, we can see that when my daughter walks her leg is actually straight. So, we are hoping that after she has her physio on her left foot the same will happen. This will help her a great deal especially with her posture and being able to do things a peer her age would be able to do.

The visit went well and was as had been described at my previous appointments. The staff were great and very friendly, as was the consultant. However, one criticism I would voice is that the waiting area is extremely small, was very cramped and a number of people had to stand as there were insufficient chairs. There were also no toilets - or at least none which were obvious.
