Having had to attend A&E at Stoke Mandeville hospital with no decernable improvement in my condition. I then found their advice to yet again try to see somebody at Rothchild House Surgery impossible. After being tied up in their eConsult service( which we had to learn our way through their 20-50 questions) we manged to get the practice to call me, on the third time of waking me from the long needed sleep I was having they told me yet again that the Sugery had issued a prescription of Zopiclone and I was to collect this from the excellent Aston Clinton pharmacy. With no decernable improvement by 5.30 I Tried calling the Chiltern private Hospital and at the end of one of the most stressful days, having asked for psychiatric help and being told initially that they offered this, I was cut off, spoke to 4 different people, a computer and bloke that "couldn't" comment but the Psychiatric team need a refferel from your Doctor to their Secretary on Monday! I was getting gravely concerned that there was a Safeguarding issue for both my wife and I's treatment by the Buckinghamshire NHS Trust and the Rothchild House group mainly based on my discovery earlier in the year that I was listed as Bi Polar at the top of my medical screen. This is despite the fact that Rothchild House referred me to a psychiatric specialist in the centre at Marlows Hemel Hempstead who, sent me and the surgery a letter cleanly stating in his opinion my issues are not signs of a Bipolar disorder. All I can say is thanks to, my strange mind, a recommendation and a memory of excellent care, somehow I knew that I should book a consultation with your GP service. I think you might have done enough already to save my wife and I's sanity, 45 year relationship and potentially halted at the best some minimal bad care we have been receiving over the last 13 years, at the worst possible instance you may have extended our lifespan by some years . I started having grave and worrying concerns regarding our care during Covid, we would both turn up at the window of the surgery to be given medication that, we no longer took, or were told we are prescribed antibiotics, collect them from one of our own pharmacys and we'll call if you need them. We never got a call, always threw the tablets away and understand that they did the same with them "as soon as we had touched them" That this group own, all of the Surgeries in Tring, Berkhampstead and surrounding villages amazes me. That they own most if not all of the Pharmaceutical retailers in the area just doesn't seem right to me. Surely they are making huge profits from orders placed by their own partners or employees using hard to come by NHS money. In return they have become so big with such a monopoly that they will never return to a quality of care customers/patients deserve. This goes for the Bucks NHS trust as well, Rothchild House must be one of their biggest referring practice groups, so a great mutual customer of each other? Front of house Annabelle was lovely and friendly but considering it was my first visit the overall hygienist’ experience was very poor. The appointment was at 19:00pm and I wasn’t seen until 19:25/19:30pm. I paid £70 for a 30 minute clean only for the appointment to last 20 minutes for a basic scale and to be given flossing advice. I had the water squirted in my left eye (underneath the glasses) I put my hand up to warn the two members of staff who didn’t even notice and the lady that was doing the water was also choking me with the tube which was not a pleasant experience (never had this happened to me before and I get my teeth cleaned every six months). I was then told I had to come back in two weeks for another appointment just for the polish (and expected to pay another £70) this has never happened anywhere I have visited before and it felt that it was just a big money making scheme especially try to sell me tooth flosses and toothpaste I already have at home and use. Maybe if the appointment did not overrun previous to me then the lady would have had time to do a full clean as your website states. It is a shame as I would have been re visiting every six months and also wanted extra services like teeth whitening but unfortunately will not be returning.

Polite, professional and kind staff. Clean environment. I felt safe and cared for throughout. I was seen before my appointment time. I saw an orthopaedic consultant about my shoulder. Thankfully, it turned out I did not need surgery at this stage. I was offered an MRI scan, but I declined as thought there was not much point! After my consultation, I changed my mind about having an MRI scan. Later that day, I phoned the receptionist of the consultant I had seen earlier and asked if I could have the scan. The lady said that could be arranged with no problem. (I had thought I would have to go through another referral, appointment etc...) My scan was within the week. Thank you!

I was very pleased to be offered this programme. Unusual for a consultant to have such a holistic approach. It has been extremely beneficial to me and I enjoyed working with Ray. I very much enjoyed the Chi Gong and continue with the daily meditation. I found Marya and Nichola very supportive and interesting to work with. I had already lost some weight but was stuck and with their help went on to lose a further 2 stone and have maintained my weight at that level since. The programme has also given me permission to spend time doing the things I like which I have realised is very beneficial to my health.

We got booked in and I was slightly nervous but Tanvi explained the whole process in how the sedation would go, to put my mind at ease and come to the appointment understanding what was going to happen. When my sedation date came, I walked into the dentist I was greeted by Tanvi and calmly started the process to remove my 2 teeth. Very quick process and happy with how it has all turned out. Currently a week into recovery and feeling good and happy with the experience.

Dr Nikki was exceptional! Such a pleasant experience. She was very warm and patient during the consultation, handled all our questions and concerns with so much care and gave us so much reassurance that everything was more normal than we thought. Mr Razvi was excellent, I have been suffering for several years in severe pain but didn’t feel able to speak about it. Mr Razvi made me feel very comfortable and gave me the information I needed, the way I needed it. I had to undergo surgery and he was there for any questions I had and gave me confidence, the surgery went well and I am doing much better. The hospital and Mr Razvi checked in with me multiple times after the surgery and my scars are small and neat. All in all a very positive experience for this type of situation.

Every member of staff were very efficient professional and caring. Cleaners, Food providers, HCAS, Porters, Nurses, Physios, Therapists and Doctors were excellent . The night staff were very kind and supportive when I needed help in the early hours and made me feel happier when in pain and anxiety. The day staff were wonderful too nothing was too much for them! I was more than impressed when I sent him a message at the weekend post op. To say I was concerned about my eyes, that he took to trouble to come to my house to check there was no infection and reassure me all was well. After 3 weeks my eyes are healing really well and are looking great. I recommend Mr SCAWN and thank him for “a new me!!)

I was admitted for a segmentectomy in the lung. Dr Lawrence had explained the procedure on a Zoom call and I had the opportunity to ask any questions / think it over for when I next saw Dr Lawrence. I met with Dr. Lawrence on admission and had ample opportunity to ask my questions. The procedure went very well and the whole experience was very positive. I am now home and recovering having been given instruction on what I need to do to aid my recovery. 🙂

All the doctors, psychiatric nurses and reception team are outstanding. It's a small thing, but I wish that there was hand cream supplied in the toilets. This may not be the "fault" of The London Psychiatry Centre as they do not own the building, but they could put in a request to the appropriate people. I spend thousands of pounds there so it would be a small but appreciated gesture. Even my hair dressing salon supplies hand cream!

I would like to make mention of the pre-operative theatre experience. The anaetheatist and his ODP colleague were welcoming and made every effort to put me at ease. It was explained that I may hear noises during the surgery and was offered an extra level of anaesthesia which would ensure I would sleep throughout the procedure. Ther was a decernable rapport between the whole team.
