Review of Professor Stephen Radley I recently attended a private consultation with Professor Stephen Radley regarding my stage 2 prolapse. From the outset, he was extremely informative, taking the time to explain my diagnosis in detail and discuss future options, including possible surgery, ongoing care, and the use of a pessary. Following his advice, I had a pessary inserted, which provided immediate support. Four months later, I returned for a follow-up appointment where the pessary was reinserted. On this occasion, Professor Radley gave me thorough training on how to manage the insertion myself. This has been invaluable, as it allows me to self-care and avoid repeated long journeys from Lincoln to Sheffield. Throughout both visits, Professor Radley demonstrated professionalism, compassion, and a commitment to patient empowerment. His clear explanations and practical guidance gave me confidence in managing my condition. He also referred me to a nurse-led clinic for future follow-up, ensuring continuity of care and accessible support. I am very grateful for his expertise and the thoughtful way he tailored my care to my circumstances. The Portland Hospital was a wonderful place to safely deliver our beautiful baby boy. Our experience was personalised, with very thorough and caring professionals. Our obstetrician, Dr Kenga Sivarajah, was incredibly knowledgable and kind: someone we could trust implicitely and who was there throughout the entire 22 hour labour to ensure a safe delivery. The Anaesthetic team were quick and very effective with the epidural, ensuring that my pain was well managed throughout, with no side effects from the epidural. The nursing staff, both on the delivery ward and maternity ward, were amazing. Ellie and Scarlet were there every step to make sure I was safe and comfortable during labour. On the birth ward, we had regular nurse check ins and a lot of help with breastfeeding positions and latch. There was the option of the night nursery as well, which we elected not to use. The room was very comfortable with a trundle bed for my partner to sleep and a private bathroom (hugely appreciated immediately post birth). The food was excellent, with an extensive menu. The kitchen was a bit slow on some of the orders, but otherwise very good. Overall, our Portland experience was wonderful and we would hope to deliver there again in future.

Despite the industrial estate address, the practice is a lovely, bright, modern building adjacent to open fields, easy to find and ample parking close to the main entrance. I was met with a warm, friendly smile and the lady on reception couldn’t have been nicer. I was asked to complete a short health questionnaire on a tablet. I waited no more than 10 minutes before Dr Wright saw me. Both she and the nurse were also warm & friendly whilst very professional, everything was explained clearly to me, including the cost of the treatment, before treatment started. Dr Wright was extremely good at putting me at ease and checking on me as the treatment progressed. The anaesthetic was administered virtually unnoticed. After a few minutes Dr Wright removed my tooth completely painlessly, it was quick and there was barely any trauma to my gum. Even when the anaesthetic wore off, I had zero pain or discomfort and needed no further painkillers after the dose I had immediately before treatment. By far, the best experience in a dentists chair I have ever had, can’t recommend Vermillion enough

A little concerned as to what seems to be a deterioration in standards. - my temperature was checked with an ear thermometer that didn't have a removal cap for hygiene so does this mean it's used in each patients ears? I did not see the deodorant change the cap or discard anything, just picked it up from the table. - my ultrasound scan felt completely rushed. The doctor kept looking at his watch through out my appointment. The machine was supposedly heating up and the doctor did no ask me to turn in the positions to check the organs we needed to see. - I was prescribed medication that can easily be purchased at any pharmacy and more cost affective to purchase without prescription - there is no where near enough privacy in the appointment rooms and the waiting area. It's quiet and I could hear almost the entire conversation of other patients. - I should have been offered a full urine test based on my blood results - over not the experience I've had before. Really disappointed.

Mr Jain was very polite and friendly but professional at the same time. I had an initial consultation with him to discuss the issue I was having with my arm. He listened and understood. We both worked on a plan to resolve the issue with my arm which initially were did a conservative approach and then after about 6 weeks and 3 visits we both agreed that surgery was required. I booked into have the surgery done and after the surgery Mr Jain explained that it was worse than the MRI but he was able to repair it and the operation was a complete success. I have had both physio and follow up appointments with Mr Jain and he has done an amazing job repairing my arm. I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends should they ever need to have surgery. I have one last appointment booked for 6 weeks from now to check how my physiotherapy has gone and to sign me off and discharge me fully. I know that if I had any issues that I could always return to him instead future.

Mental State Examination - of the psychiatrist Pleasant on interaction, quickly establishes a warm rapport and puts you at ease. His questions are structured but feel natural, and he allows you to go off on tangents while gently bringing you back on track when needed. He explains his thinking clearly, checks your understanding, and comes across as calm, grounded and genuinely interested. Throughout the assessment he was fully present, respectful and kind, while still being appropriately thorough and evidence-based. Impression Dr Athanasios Tsoumpris is a highly competent and compassionate Consultant Psychiatrist with real expertise in adult ADHD. I felt listened to, taken seriously and never rushed, and I left the assessment feeling understood and hopeful rather than judged. I am very happy with my diagnosis and the way it was reached, and I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone seeking an ADHD assessment or ongoing care.

I thoroughly recommend. I attended Dr McGrady's clinic to obtain a diagnosis and removal of a small bump on my nose which I thought might be a basal cell carcinoma.. Dr McGrady put me at ease by explaining that it wasn't a form of skin cancer but a sebaceous hyperplasia. He explained how he would remove it. He then thoroughly examined the rest of my face for any other skin issues He found 2 more sebaceous hyperplasia and removed all 3 by using cryotherapy. The procedure was quick,and I am very pleased with the outcome. I highly recommend Dr McGrady and his team. I have attended his clinic before for a similar diagnosis and removal. He has so much knowledge and expertise, is a good communicator and made me feel at ease..

I arrived 10 minutes early and found a parking space opposite the main entrance. I reported to reception who directed me the check in where I was booked in and directed to the waiting area. Only a couple of minutes later I was called for my scan, shown where to put my belongings and then directed to the MRI scanning room. Here I was explained thoroughly what would happen and then I went into the scanner for 15-20 minutes. When I came out I was told my results would be sent to my doctor in about 2 weeks and then advised I was free to go home. I have no complaints and don’t think you could improve on the service. Very well done to you all ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bernie.

With a history of long term sunbed use and holidays abroad i decided to book an appointment for a skin check. The check was done manually and not a machine like other clinics advertise. The nurse was extremely friendly and I felt comfortable straight away. She conducted the examination and fed back to me on everything she found as she went along. My only comment would be that it was not made clear that I would get two invoices, one for the initial topography and scan and a separate one for the cataract operations in both eyes.
