It's not fair that being an NHS patient meant that we couldnt use the disabled parking, which was empty, right outside the hospital, meaning a much longer and uncomfortable walk. We we greeted well upon arrival and called through almost immediately. Although I found the nurse abrupt and abrasive to start with, I put this down to her working from the computer, checking through info. Perhaps that wasn't her strong point with technology. I have many complex needs, including some communication needs, being ADHD and Autistic. I clearly hadn't understood some of the portal questions and answered them differently to its intended expected responses. Perhaps some more understanding around neurodivergent conditions would be helpful and clarity around the context of their questioning, rather than to feel berated for replying "I fear spiders". The question asked for my fears or what I am scared of, if it was specifically regarding the procedure, it should have been clearer. I was clearly struggling with the bright lights in the office, holding my srm up to shield my eyes from the lighting, even commenting to my daughter who I took with me, my questionnaire replies would have told her I am photophobic, but because of how she initially presented to me, I felt unable to raise my concerns and ask for the lights to be adjusted. (This resulted in triggering a migraine after I left). Im still working on advocating for my own needs. Once the computer work was complete and she faced me to go through expectations of the operation day, she mellowed and warmed, her body language positively changed. This helped reduce my heightened anxiety. She was very good when it came to taking my bloods and I didnt even feel it, for the first time ever. I left feeling far less anxious than I did upon arrival.

My father was seen short notice on Wednesday the 5th of November which was very much appreciated. Unfortunately he did not have a good experience on his visit. The consultant came to see him in the waiting room and made him roll up his trousers and examined him in front of other people in the waiting room. He made him walk across the room with his trousers rolled up and as my father's hearing is not good he began to talk really loudly to him in front of these other people. I was with him and to be honest it was very degrading and embarrassing for a 79 year old man. He more or less told my father to get on with it and stop taking any antibiotics that were prescribed by his GP. My father ended up having an infection in his knee but unfortunately this man was very dismissive when my father said the knee was sore and had a lump on it and made us feel like we were just bothering him.

I am Betty's daughter. My mum has mobility issues. Getting her from the car park into the diagnostics centre was incredibly difficult. We borrowed a wheel chair from the helpful car park attendant. But it was raining so heavily that by the time we got inside my 87yr old mum was soaked to the skin. She had to sit in wet clothing for 4.5hrs until I got her home and changed. Luckily the car park attendant helped us back to the car at the end of her procedure. You REALLY need a drop-off right zone at the door to the centre, with seats inside to help relatives get their lives ingress in safely.. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, but even with their help, this was a very stressful visit fdue to lack of access and horrendous weather conditions.

Great service. Quick and efficient. The website doesn’t work that well on mobile but I was able to use the WhatsApp method and that was fine. Weirdly that prompted a call whereas by initiating communication via WhatsApp it was odd to get a call. I was struggling to hear clearly which is why I sent the WhatsApp. I’d imagine that I’m not unique in this 🤪. Not a complaint. Just worth noting. One other idea: has anyone asked to be able to watch what is being done on a screen? I personally would have enjoyed being able to do this. Don’t judge me!!! But if you made that available and publicised it, I reckon it could be a differentiator. Thanks for an efficient and thorough service x

I went to see Mr Ampat over long term back pain i have been suffering with, he was very clear to me throughout the appointment and explained to me the process of what will be the best steps going forward. There was a slight delay to the appointment itself however it was clearly outlined to me by the staff prior so i has no issues, none the less Mr Ampat was more than apologetic which was very appreciated. He was very helpful and polite the entire appointment, at first I was nervous going in as I am a little bit scared of seeing Dr's (childish might that be) but Mr Ampat was a pleasure and it gave me nothing but sheer confidence when seeing him in the future :)

Working with Liz has been life-changing. She is warm, empathetic, and she created a space where I never felt like something was wrong with me - only that I was learning to understand myself better. This approach alone builds a great foundation for self-esteem which is key to doing the work and putting the tools in place. She’s incredibly grounding and has a real gift for bringing things back to reality, offering straightforward solutions to problems that once felt overwhelming. Liz got me through some major life events, and I’m incredibly grateful for her support and would recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate and deeply skilled therapist.

I cannot rate my experience highly enough. Mr. Thakur and Dr. Richard the anesthetist were extremely professional and supportive and took time to clearly explain the procedure and process and answer all of my questions. The nursing staff, Steph, Brian, Natalie and Til were fantastic looking after me post op and were very friendly and supportive. The pharmacy team took great care in explaining my medication and advising on the pain relief regime to follow. Gary from the Physio team was great at explaining the rehab exercises and putting me through my paces to make sure I started my recovery in the best way. A great team, please pass on my thanks.

We had an excellent experience with Mr. Chitale. From our very first consultation, he made us feel completely at ease and took the time to explain every step of the procedure. The care and patience he showed toward our 5 year old were incredible he was gentle, kind, and very reassuring. The surgery went smoothly, and recovery was faster and easier than we expected. Mr. Chitale also followed up personally to make sure everything was healing well. We are so grateful for his professionalism, compassion, and skill. Highly recommend him to any parents considering this procedure. Circumcision

I highly recommend Mr Hamoda. I saw him because I was considering HRT for extreme leg cramps, palpitations and difficulty sleeping. Mr Hamoda explained my options and risks in detail. He took time to make sure we covered everything, and he is very knowledgeable and forward thinking about perimenopause. I started oestrogen and progesterone and my cramps went away immediately and other symptoms improved a lot too. After having a terrible experience with the head of a menopause clinic who ranted about everyone trying to get HRT, I am so glad I tried again and found Mr Hamoda.

I saw Mr Ali Abbas recently and I was pleased with the visit. He was very thorough and explained things very clearly. He took his time to consider a differential diagnosis for my problem and the course of action he suggested has helped me feeling better after years of increasing pain. What I liked the most is that his approach was not limited to treating the symptoms now but to protect the health of my eyes in the long term. His secretary Natasha Masih-Lal was also very helpful with appointments etc.

Service was good when I had the appointments Long wait times where I had no info at times, had to chase replies to my emails, particularly once where I got an email saying i would be able to book my appointment 'very soon' and then nothing for weeks More info before appointments would have been nice, what to expect / prepare, my second appointment I assumed was going to be the diagnosis but turned out to just be another round of questionnaire questions not with the psychiatrist

The Spire is a very clean and well equipt hospital but with limited parking. However, my last trip to the spire hartswood had an hours delay before I was seen, which isnt ideal. My thoughts on this is if Reform get their way and sell off NHS that private sector is no better equipt to deal with volume than NHS. Tjat daid onve seen I was treated by a lovely nurse Marianne who was very caring and jolly which made yhe appointment a very pmeasurable experience.

Dr Janssen has finally given me my face back ! He’s kind, skilful and I would only go to him now if I needed anything else . I had an endoscopic midface lift and have waited 5 months to write this review . Having seen so many surgeons to help me restore my cheeks and to make me feel again like myself was beginning to feel like pipe dream . Even the recovery was seamless . Cannot recommend him enough .

I was very nervous about the operation, however Mr Nakhla listened to my concerns and put me at ease. I will forever be grateful for how he has improved my life.

He's a lovely and professional Consultant. He's softly spoken, but listens to your answers, explains his examination, what tests/imaging are required and what the best treatment option is. Whilst undergoing a minor procedure, he was brilliant throughout. I would trust him with any orthopaedic issue I might have.

Discharge instructions to patient stated keep dressing on for 2-3 days before removal. No sutures to be removed. There were no instructions on how long to leave steri-strips on, so had to look this up online myself. Instructions should be clearer about the steri-strips
