I went in today for my first ever colonoscopy. Although I was nervous, every staff member I met made me feel comfortable and at ease. there was a brief 10 minute wait before I saw the nurse, who was very informative about the procedure and took some recordings (blood pressure, heart rate etc.) before asking me some questions. After not very long at all I went into the room to have my procedure and Samer and his team were excellent in talking me through the process, what I might experience, and how long it would be. They regularly checked in on me throughout to ask how I was doing. Regarding the colonoscopy itself - overall I felt no pain at all really - some discomfort from the gas (which they make you aware of) but otherwise it was fine. I chose sedation rather than gas & air, and found this worked well for me. It is an odd sensation in general; but manageable. The procedure took maybe 20 minutes, before I was moved to recovery. The recovery nurse & all staff members there were very friendly. They read me my report, made sure I understood the results, and gave me some biscuits and squash (which I was grateful for after 24H of not eating!) - I was out from here after around 20 minutes, having no notable lingering side effects from either the medication or procedure. Overall, fantastic service from everyone. Thank you so much.

I have now been to all three locations (I had Hernia surgery 4 weeks ago at their Grosvenor Street hospital) and have been very impressed. The clinics are very clean and more akin to a hotel than a hospital. My issue was a bad back and painful sciatica. I was seen about 15 mins after my appointment time, but that's to be expected these days and it wasn't a problem. I was seen by Mr Montgomery who was very efficient and he gave my back a thorough examination. He said I needed an MRI and I was dreading having to wait days as I had really struggled to get to the clinic due to my injury. However, to my amazement, they managed to arrange for me to have the MRI there and then. I was looked after my Ibrahim who was first class. What a nice guy, very friendly and engaging. Made me very comfortable and talked me through the process. The MRI took about 20 mins I guess and then we made an appointment for me to speak to Mr Montgomery 2 days later on a video call to go through the results of the MRI. Overall, another very good experience.

I had an excellent experience with Dr Bhandari. He was very attentive and took the time to genuinely listen to all of my concerns. Dr Bhandari is extremely knowledgeable and explained the diagnosis and treatment plan clearly and in great detail, which was very reassuring. The echocardiogram and ECG was performed with great patience and care, with everything explained step by step. I felt well looked after throughout the appointment and treatment journey and would highly recommend Dr Bhandari.

I had an appointment on Monday 12th January , however this had to be cancelled as Dr was sick, was able to get an appointment for the Tuesday 13th, suited perfect, also at the appointment was determined that I needed my bloods done, was able to come back in Wednesday morning at 9am to get done, was told the results would be a week to then call back and prescription could be issued, I don’t have to do this , within the week prescription was emailed to me.

Mr Akram really knows both the technology and also the human factors and patiently and explicitly introduced me to my first hearing aids. These are working wonderfully from the very first wearing. I returned for a custom program for singing in choir. This too was very effective. I could not recommend Pindrop and Mr Akram more highly! It’s a bit traumatic to discover one needs hearing aids but the process is painless and the benefits are immediate.

The care and time that I was given was outstanding. The nurses were all so friendly and could not do enough for me. It was even better than I could have hoped for. My surgeon was amazing, as well as the doctors, anaesthetist, and catering staff. I had such a positive experience, and I would highly recommend this hospital. The visit to the Hampton Hospital was very good as soon as l booked in even before I had sat down in the waiting area a nurse called me and did some preliminary work, weight, height and blood pressure. Then with in a couple of minutes Doctor Rasool called me through and was very interested in getting the full picture of my history, very professional and he explained what we were going to do in the next visit.

Dr Hashmi has been fantastic. The whole process has been very professional and extremely fast. I have had other surgery’s is the past and it hasn’t always been clear as to exactly what the damage was and what steps were needed in order to fix the issue but this time different. All I can say is a big THANK YOU and I can’t wait to get back doing the things I didn’t think I could do anymore :)
