I had been advised against the op by friends and family due to questionable social media reels regarding the potential for things to go wrong and the low level of concern for the individual. I know today that if I had not done it my life would look very bleak in just a couple of years. I had prepared for a general anaesthetic but was happily surprised with the epidural and local injections. I clearly underestimated the intrusion and how much I needed to take regular medication afterwards. I also needed to top up with more medicine after 3 weeks. I’ve am also very grateful for the care and focus on making the scar so neat and the limited damage caused around the knee. I hardly brushed at all. A good physio and movement is key. 6 weeks after the op I can drive a manual and walk with no crutches.

I contacted Dr Nikki after being told a n NHS gynaecologist appointment wait was 64 weeks. It was super easy to make an appointment, find out costs and provide information prior to being seen. It was so nice to be able to spend time with Dr Nikki explaining my issues and actually being listened to. Options were discussed fully, blood tests taken immediately, prescriptions issued and delivered the next day. My follow up was arranged promptly, test results discussed and options openly discussed again. Dr Nikki and the services she offers are so needed for women today.

He was excellent in every way. He had a superior knowledge of the issue I was presenting with, did a thorough physical exam and ordered further tests to pinpoint the problem. He was courteous and approachable and an excellent communicator. I feel as though I am in good hands, finally, w/ this orthopedic issue (for which I've seen several doctors in the past), and I am confident that a surgery performed by him on it will result in success and alleviate the pain I have been living w/ for too long.

My teenage son is seeing Mr Crompton for a broken femur, and the service and care we have received so far has been excellent. Mr Crompton's office are super-responsive, helpful and kind. Mr Crompton's advice has been brilliant and perfectly pitched for my teenage son who is worried about his surgery and desperate to get back to sport. Mr Crompton really understands how to communicate with young people (as well as parents) which we feel is absolutely critical.

Every stage of my procedure for my cataract operations (both eyes a week apart) went like 'a dream' from the excellent initial Consultation with Professor Luff, to the 2 excellently/professionally executed outpatient operations he and his excellent team carried out, to the excellent aftercare and not to mention the miraculous results!. If anyone (like me!) is petrified of such procedures I would highly recommend Professor Luff and his Sapphire Team.

Fortunately I have had little cause to engage previously with surgeons, but Mr McLean's bedside manner and his dealings with me were amazing at a time when I was frightened, bewildered and uncertain of my future. I first met Dr Sabharwal a year ago to seek advice on a cardio matter. He was thorough in his research and assessment and explained the therapy plan to me. One year on, it was great to meet with him again and to discover that his plan had worked well. As he said himself, he has done himself out of a job as I (sadly) no longer need to meet with him. Happy to highly recommend Dr Sabharwal.

Miss Carina Johnsone-Ayliffe put me at ease throughout the consultation process and told me exactly about the procedure, side effects and considerations that I should take. She had a good bedside manner and kept me informed throughout my treatment. She was also very efficient with her written correspondence. All in all, I'm very happy with the treatment that Miss Johnsone-Ayliffe gave me.
