When I went for the original consultation I had requested Mr Ohly on the recommendation of a friend whose hip he had replaced. I had deliberately not looked up his credentials as I wanted the first hand impression. (Of course I would follow this up subsequently.) At the initial meeting I liked his approach. He covered a lot of ground in language which was accessible to someone not at all clear on how bad my knee was, far less what could be done. I was not talked down to, and thus I felt able to ask questions, the answers to which I really wanted to know in order to look at how I was going to manage the whole business mentally and physically. I knew so little at that point, but in the following months I read and slowly became clear on what was about to happen. During that time I sent him a few emails and his responses were always prompt and thorough. I was scheduled for the operation in early October, but for reasons beyond his control, it had to be postponed. None of my preparation had included that possibility. Having geared myself up for it, I was extremely distressed at this turn of events. Mr Ohly took time to talk me through the situation and reassure me. He could have left it to someone else, but he did not. By the time I got to the operation I had full confidence in him because of how he had treated me as a human being. He knew I was scared and he managed that very well. I was not dismissed. When he came to see me after the operation he was professional and kindly. I was just relieved. In my follow up meeting he very shrewdly picked up on my concerns and dealt with them well. Seven weeks on I can see a future which I had thought was disappearing as my life shrank to cope with the pain I was enduring. I will never climb Mount Everest but I can climb stairs, something I could only do with extreme distress two months ago.

I had an ADHD evaluation at Diverse Minds Clinic. I did some research before booking, and I chose Diverse Minds Clinic since the psychiatrist, Dr Alex Cappai, also works for the NHS ADHD service. Dr. Alex Cappai listened to me and made me feel heard. She was quite friendly, and I felt at ease during the assessment. I was diagnosed with Adult ADHD mixed type in my fifties, which was a bittersweet finding. Dr. Cappai provided me with practical counsel that was extremely beneficial, as well as the time I needed to comprehend my diagnosis. The staff at Diverse Minds Clinic have been really professional and helpful throughout the process, and I would strongly suggest this service.

As soon as I met him for my initial consultation I felt relaxed and felt as though Dr Jeddy understood me, my lifestyle and the need for results. The procedure on the day was flawless and I was home by 5pm that day. All the follow ups with the nursing team to change bandages and with Dr Jeddy at the 3 week mark were flawless as well. 3 weeks and all the small incisions are healed, I have no swelling and I am back training for my Ironman in 2026. I am transformed! I came to see Mrs Langton Hewer because I had suddenly gone completely deaf in one ear. She listened to me when I explained my anxieties and then examined my ears. She diagnosed otis externa which was causing pain and there was water behind the wax causing deafness. She then very carefully removed wax and debris from my ear and my hearing was immediately restored. I am so grateful that this was diagnosed so expertly and then sorted out immediately. I would strongly recommend her for ear problems and for removal of ear wax. Thank you.

The nurse decided to find a colleague - I was delighted to see a face I recognised, who had conducted this procedure successfully earlier in the year.
