I am deeply thankful to Mr. Vakharia and his team for the exceptional care provided before, during, and after my recent endometriosis surgery. His patient-centred approachfostered complete trust in the process throughout. My initial consultation with Mr. Vakharia was due to complaints of excruciating menstrual pain that had eventually become constant. I was grateful that he listened to my symptoms patiently and did not dismiss my pain, respecting my feeling that "something isn't right." He immediately referred me for a diagnostic ultrasound, which subsequently confirmed the diagnosis of endometriosis. Following the diagnosis, Mr. Vakharia thoroughly reviewed all available treatment options, clearly explaining the risks and benefits of each. Crucially, I never felt pressured; he emphasised that the final decision was mine, based on my lifestyle and preferences. When I chose surgery, he advised that it would need to be a joint procedure with a colorectal surgeon due to the complex nature of my endometriosis. Mr. Jenkins, colorectal surgeon was also very thorough and explained his part in the surgery very patiently. On the day of surgery, the bedside manner of the entire team—including the colorectal surgeon, the anaesthesiologist, and Mr. Vakharia himself—was phenomenal. I felt incredibly assured and supported entering the operating theatre. Post-surgery, I felt fully supported throughout my recovery in the hospital. Mr. Vakharia personally visited me multiple times during my stay, which was hugely reassuring and helped ease any anxieties. One month post-surgery, I am recovering exceptionally well. The debilitating pain I experienced before the procedure is now almost entirely resolved. To put it simply, I feel I have my life back. I am deeply thankful for Mr. Vakharia's surgical skill, dedication, and compassionate approach to women's health.

I have just returned home after a full hip replacement. We were recommended to St Joseph’s and I can’t speak highly enough of the team and the care I received. Many things stand out. The friendly, yet professional ambience, the obviously good relations and communications across all staff. Although my visit lasted only just over 24 hours, at no time did anything feel rushed or ‘conveyor belt’. Just well organised with a feeling that I was being very well looked after. The room and facilities were first class, comfortable and super clean. The operation itself was clearly explained and went without hitch. There was a lot of experience in that room, not least of the lead consultant and anaesthetist. Recovery was also much quicker than I expected, with excellent follow on from the Physio team and 6 sessions into the future as part of the package. I would finally like to express my thanks to all the staff who have made such a positive difference for me.

After my atrial fibrillation (AFib) diagnosis, I booked an appointment with Dr Davies at the Park Hospital. He explained the treatment options: medication, a cardioversion (an electrical reset of the heart), or an ablation. His manner and experience are second to none. He helped me understand the options and I decided upon the RF ablation using the new state of the art facility at the Park. Dr Davies and his brilliant team carried out the procedure and the ITU aftercare team were equally impressive. I’m very pleased to say it went well and heart is now back in normal sinus rhythm, and I’m expected to make a full recovery. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending Dr Davies and everyone at the Park Hospital.

Professional, caring and respectful staff. I have already completed a survey which pointed out two negatives amongst an otherwise perfect experience. I was not offered any pain relief the first night after my op, which I understand I should have asked for. However it is known that everyone experiences pain at this point so would have thought pain relief would have been automatic. Also, while I was having a procedure the nurse put a 'No Entry' sign on my door but a member of the catering staff knocked and entered. I did call to come in but presumed it was a nurse.

Jack has helped me manage the symptoms of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome through a tailored strengthening and fitness program. He's measured my progress over time using rep count reports and strength measuring devices as well as charting general wellbeing. We recently started adapted boxing too which I have enjoyed. I feel really supported and motivated to reach my goals. He is understanding and meets you where you are at fitness-wise, as well as pushing you to the best you can be. I would definitely recommend Jack to other people with long term health conditions like me.

I waited longer than usual for my appointment but Mr Sharma was very apologetic. He examined and more importantly listened to me about my concerns. The follow up letter arrived promptly so action could be taken. He gave me a referral for an appointment to have steroid injection which I obtained within 24 hrs. Sadly the referral letter had a couple of mistakes but these were rectified very quickly. Very impressed with the process and we are all individuals so mistakes can happen.

Mr Patel done in 2 1/2 months what another Hospital couldn’t do in five years. He carried out a bunion revision operation after it was done incorrectly by another Hospital (by what they say was a good surgeon). I wasn’t able to wear shoes for nearly 5 years and I can actually put a shoe on without my foot hurting me for the first time in five years, so yes he’s a very good surgeon and I would recommend him to everybody, so much so I’m getting my other foot done by him very soon.

My Consultant had specified an Echo with Contrast but when I mentioned this to the member of staff, who was just about to start the treatment, he said it wasn't necessary to have the Contrast I didn't see Dr Kennon that day but it was him who requested the Echo with Contrast at a previous appointment
