I had two appointments at 24 Portland Place. The first was for an US of my right foot at 11:40, the second one with Mr Losseff at 12:45. No problem with the first one but with it was with the second one. As I finished the US procedure around 12:05, I went to the 2nd floor to wait for Mr Losseff's appointment at 12:45. I asked the receptionist whether he was running late and she responded negatively. As time passed and it was getting near 13:00, I asked the receptionists whether he was running late. Negative answer again. I enquired again around 13:10 as I had to take a train back to Oxford at 14:10. Mr Losseff called me at 13:40 and he was concerned about me not appearing on the screen despite having registered on the main reception desk. As he did not see me on his screen, he saw another patient. He was extremely kind and concerned about timing. He is a kind, and caring person and excellent neurologist. As I complained to the receptionists on the second floor, the problem was with the initial registration on the main reception desk. This has never happened to me, my husband or my youngest daughter who are patients of Cleveland Clinic. It would be good if it does not happen again. Check when patients have more than one appointment please and that they this information is transmitted correctly to the corresponding floors' reception desks. Thank you.

This whole experience has been rubbish. One of the questions asked if I had ever had polyps, which I had but 15 years ago, and because I clicked yes, recommended me as not suitable for screening...a lot can happen in 15 years, and it didn't ask me how long ago it was. The form was clunky to use and complete. In the results letter it said if I still wanted screening despite my results, to go to my results page. However when I went to that page it gave no options to select screening. It showed a Submit button on the results page, but would not let me proceed as I had not selected a service, however there were no services to select. The results letter gave me a link asking for feedback, either a quick survey or a detailed survey. When I clicked the detailed one it came up with an Error404 message. When I clicked the quick survey, it asked me questions about recent visits, were the staff friendly, was the practice clean etc, instead of asking any questions about my experience with the recent cancer screening survey...they were completely irrelevant.

I have been under James Duncan's care for over a year having had four operations on my knee which got infected under a total knee replacement which had been in place for 8 years. A year ago this week I had the final part of a two stage revision which has worked wonders. I do not feel that I could have had any better care both during my three hospital stays and afterwards. James and the whole Trauma & Orthopaedic team were absolutely brilliant as were the staff on the three RBH wards where I spent a total of 55 days in 2024 and into January 2025. I am extremely thankful for having been under the care of James and his team and feel very fortunate to have had him as my orthopaedic surgeon.

I had a check up and cleaning from the dentist Sonia. What a marvellous professional and friendly person. I am extremely nervous at dentist but Sonoa went above a beyond to make me at easy. She transmitted me calm and I'd never ever thought to feel calm at the dentist. I only hope she will not leave as well. I am so tired of OSD turnover of staff it's very stressful for me getting used to someone and than change it. Sonia is precious if I was OSD boss I'd do whatever I can to keep this kind of empathetic professional with me. Doc Sonia thank you from the bottom of my heart to make me feel special. My surgery took place there and had to stay overnight due to vertigo and dizziness. The hospital was friendly, new and pristine. The nursing staff outstanding as well as of course the medical team. I had dinner and breakfast and it was also healthy and delicious. Yesterday I returned to have the dressing removed and it was equally good. If any criticism would be to the pharmacy with a 30minute wait to get my prescription and also despite being a Bupa hospital not having the availity to charge Bupa for medication- I am under Bupa Global and in other Bupa hospitals this is the case.

I went in for a hernia repair which had needed doing or some time but I deferred the surgery. On the day I went, was prepared for the operation, waited or my time in the theatre and was put to sleep. The next thing that I remember was being wheeled back to my room where I soon came round: I was not in any pain. After a while I got dressed had something to eat and drink. Mr Marshall came to see me and told me that the surgery had gone well. By this time my daughter had arrived to take me home. At no stage of the postoperative period did I feel any pain.

The procedure was so quick from the start to finish. Very pleasant staff. The good thing is I wasn't waiting too long so I was straight in & out within an hour & a half. Dr. O'Donnell is very efficient & brilliant at what he does. He is a very nice person very down to earth. Highly recommend him if you're thinking about going to get any type of bein treatment at all. Nothing was awkward at all & I was made to feel very comfortable.
