I just wanted to say how absolutely thrilled I am to be consulting with your clinic for so many reasons. From the wonderful ladies on reception to the nurses, to Hazel, and of course to Dr Alice Thomas, I finally feel that I am in control of my health and my hormones — and that I’m no longer alone in my menopause journey. Since coming to the clinic over the past year, having my bloods checked regularly, and working closely with Dr Thomas, I feel I’m in a much healthier place physically, mentally, and hormonally. I’m genuinely hopeful about my health continuing to improve. Thank you for your professionalism and for having such a thoughtful, attentive team. Even the small details — like the way appointments are handled and how the doctors read through previous notes before I arrive — make such a difference. I truly appreciate it.

Monaghan + Morrow | Vasectomy Clinic - Belfast

I attended Monaghan & Morrow clinic for a vasectomy procedure in February this year. I got booked in within 2 weeks of initial contact. I was naturally anxious about the procedure but the guys made me feel at home from the minute I walked in. The procedure was pretty much pain free. Stephen & Gillian also clearly communicated pain/brusing etc over the days following, which was very reassuring. Also a check-in email the following day to confirm all was ok. (which it was) After some initial tenderness, I was back running within 1 week of the vacetomy. The follow up semen analysis was also very straightforward. I received the kit in the post with instructions. Results were then emailed within a few weeks. I could not recommend Monaghan & Morrow enough.

I have already set out my praise for Seth in the previous comments but what specifically stood out on my most recent session with him was his probing on whether I was neurodivergent. At first this seemed random and irrelevant to my ankle and knee issues but, upon informing him that I had autism, he explained that there could in fact be a clear link (and also help make sense of other things I deal with that I’d never disclosed to him). It was, in my view, a moment of genius and his clear, thoughtful approach to setting out his thinking was brilliant. I’ve been to a lot of physiotherapists and consultants but none have ever thought to enquire about neurodivergence. Seth has been so good to me and I can’t thank him enough.

Wonderful care from good staff but the bed was uncomfortable and the room was too small and felt airless and too hot. But the main thing is that hopefully this surgery will enable me to have a better quality of life. I already feel that my powers of concentration have improved and my brain is working better. It seems to me that once the soreness and itchy neck skin heals I will be back at the gym in January feeling thirty years younger. The hospital has done a good job and staff team are excellent. My only recommendation is that you knock the building down and build some more comfortable bedrooms with good ventilation with some comfortable beds for tall people.

At all stages - culminating in my having the PFO closed by him - he was kind, patient, reassuring and highly professional. It is clear that he is enormously skilled and knowledgeable in this field, and I feel very grateful to have been able to be treated by him. Rebecca and Lisa both looked after me when I was in recently for a gender scan and genetic testing. They could not have been nicer or more accommodating. After getting my bloods done I felt a little faint and the care I was given by both of them was outstanding. They also made finding out the gender of our first baby incredibly special & wholesome. I would highly recommend the clinic to any new parents out there for any of their scans. The kindness, care and how friendly the ladies were was exceptional! Thank you!

Fantastic service received by everyone one at the hospital. Including reception, nurses when attending pre op appointments. On day of surgery was attended by Lisa asking my requirements regarding food etc and clearly stated if I had any allergies etc and nothing was to much trouble. I had a very positive experience visiting the menopause doctor. The only criticism relates to payment policy. I was required to pay the full amount for my next appointment six months in advance, which I felt was a little harsh. I completely understand taking a deposit to secure the appointment - perhaps 50% would be more reasonable - but paying in full so far ahead of time does feel quite steep.

I previously had surgery with Mr Haq for breast cancer and recently had concerns with the other breast. It was easy to book the appointment and seen within 3 days. Consultation was very reassuring and tests completed the same day. I felt confident in the professionalism and care I received by all staff, special thanks to Mr Haq, Nuala and the radiographer who performed my chest x-ray.

Nightingale Hospital is exceptionally well run. The staff are consistently professional and attentive, the food is surprisingly good, and the facility itself is organised to a high standard. The programming is thoughtful and genuinely effective, and the level of clinical support is superb. Overall, it’s a high-quality environment for focused treatment and recovery.

He completely reassured me by carrying out tests and then contacting my gp straight away and referring me for further tests on the NHS which I was very grateful for.
