Couldn't fault the hospital at all. It is clean, and a very welcoming environment, but of course is absolutely down to the people that run it. Every single member of staff I came across - whether in my pre op assessment appointment, or during my surgical visit - was incredibly kind, patient, and so easy to get along with. I have had few good experiences when it comes to hospital visits, but the two times I've been at The Lister Hospital, I have spoken to and laughed with so many workers. My nurse Rasheed was an absolute gem, and was brilliant with my family when they came to the room after surgery. Whether it was the nurse that helped me to the loo, the people on reception, the physio - every single person I interacted with made it such a calm and positive experience, their kindness will stay with me so thank you very much

I have just attended a post op review with my consultant. From receptionist to radiographer ( review xray ) to consultant all staff were welcoming , friendly and empathetic. The time waiting to be seen was minimal and each staff member was efficient and ensured the visit was without issue and all concerns were addressed . Mr Islam, my consultant ,discussed In detail my postop xray and listened to my experience of recovery with interest and empathy - allowing me to tell him anything that had concerned me. My post op recovery status was assessed and encouragement given for further progress with a one year review planned . I left the appointment completely satisfied that I had treated by a person with the highest level of skill and professional attitude.

I was extremely pleased with my right knee replacement journey from beginning to end. I was kept fully informed and taken care of very well at the spire with Mr Leong and the staff. Mr Leong is very approachable and down to earth which relaxes you straight away. I was extremely nervous about having my second knee replaced as the first took a good 2 years for me to even think it was worth it. Straight away i knew this one would be different and it is. I was on theatre for about 45 mins and stayed in for 1 night as i had a problem with low blood pressure. I honestly cannot fault Mr Leong as didn't feel rushed with him and answered any questions i had .

Just like to say what a wonderful understanding and kind team you have . After a wile through my consolation I began to feel very relaxed connecting with your GP . She was very interested with my health and wellbeing and making notes regarding my health history and present concerns. On a comparison to my NHS GP I was always felt I was a bit of pain in the back side when it come to my wellbeing and made me feel very anxious. I recently saw Dr Patel about my dry eyes, which I've been managing on my own for nearly 10 years. I was considering a septorhinoplasty and wanted to know how best to manage this/any likely impact on my eyes, as well as what else I could do day to day to manage my eyes. Mr Patel took the time to provide a thorough eye examination and explained the condition and where I am in terms of stages and treatment levels. I found his manner very kind and patient with me, as I have a low tolerance for things in my eyes, such as bright lights and staring in one place for a long time.

I went to have my operation dressing removed and the consultant mr paver to check the wounds to make sure he’s happy with the results he was totally happy he said it’s the best results he’s seen for a long time with my second toe correction he’s extremely happy and so am I I haven’t seen my foot look so good in a long long time and the fact I’ve not really had any pain after this surgery is a miracle but I’ve done as I’m told and kept it elevated as I was told too for the first 2 weeks and just shows how much difference that makes
