I found MP through a friend of my sister who was having an horrific menopausal ordeal so she decided to go private and discovered MP. She spoke very highly of them and so both myself and my sister immediately booked appointments. I had an unpleasant interaction about 2 years earlier with an NHS FEMALE doctor at my GP surgery when I tried seeking help with my menopausal symptoms, as I found her quite callous and unsympathetic as she told me that I just needed to buckle down & get on with it as it is normal and every woman goes through it, but she would describe pills if I couldn’t handle it. I was so disheartened and discouraged that I never sought any further help. So struggled through this for three and a half years without any medical help. I tried a lot of natural & herbal remedies but nothing seemed to help, if anything it made my symptoms worse. I was suffering from awful hot & cold flushes and unbearable itchy skin. It was so debilitating and was making me miserable and I have always been a bright and upbeat individual. I had a talk with Zarina, the office manager, who arranges all the appointments and follow up calls and who was simply put a godsend. She was empathetic, patient, kind and very reassuring. She is an amazing ambassador for the clinic. I referred to her as My Earth Angel, she was beyond helpful. My doctor of choice was Dr Ash. I had my first appointment with her and liked her immediately. She is extremely knowledgeable and skilled and could answer any question asked of her. She put me at my ease instantly and asked considered and pertinent questions surrounding my symptoms. I never felt that she was just going through the motions and that I was one of many. She was very down to earth, personable and likeable. It almost felt like a chat between friends , although one of them extremely knowledgeable about the subject at hand. I came away feeling fortified and HEARD! Dr Ash immediately got me started on a prescription , and advised a follow up appointment for 12 weeks later to see how the medication had worked. I used a pharmacy that they are affiliated with to order my prescription and it was an huge relief as it arrived to my workplace the very next day so I could start on it immediately. I had my follow up appointment with Dr Ash and she adjusted my prescription as my symptoms had lessened but not disappeared so upped the strength which helped immensely. I am now receiving my prescription through the NHS and am doing really well and have gotten my life back , but I could not have achieved this without Medical Prime who put me on the road to recovery. Yes it is expensive but totally worth it in my opinion. I had no idea about where to start and it is a minefield as there are so many doctors out there who just prescribe medication without really thinking about what is most suitable for YOU. MP really take the time to find out what medication will give you the best results and that is what everyone wants and needs. . Dr Ash was very thorough and I was never made to feel that I was being dramatic about the effect my symptoms were having on me. Medical Prime made a huge difference for me and I will be ever grateful for their help in my menopausal journey.

I have had Cataract operations to both eyes January-March 2025. Things didn't start well when the Surgeon, in a 'telephone consultation' with me, committed to a price for the new lenses I would get. This was later overruled by the Management who told me the Surgeon didn't have the authority to agree a price with me. So I had to pay quite a bit more than I was originally told. As in some £400 per eye more. Amusing to observe how the 'care' (on the NHS, but sub-contracted to this private business) was promoted as being 'Exactly the same as Private Medical Care'. Oh no it wasn't ...it was much better. Once I was flagged up as 'potentially suitable for a PRIVATE operation' using Implants that were 'Not available on the NHS' I was treated very different. Previously done examinations were repeated 'to be sure'. Does that mean they are not sure if you are a NHS Patient? ;). Additional examinations 'not available on the NHS' were done. Am I being unfair? A short review would just say this: *Generally excellent professional friendly staff. * Medical care excellent. But.... Appointment waiting times need reviewing - I have always had to wait at least 45 min, sometimes more than on hour, before being seen. Why? If you depend on a relative or friend to drop you off and pick you up it sometimes got a bit difficult: Is this appointment going to take 30 Min, or 4 hours? Nobody knows. Admin/organization sometimes a bit confused - Why did I get an email survey for my right eye, and not for my left? Waiting in the corridor between different checks in different rooms a bit of a hit and miss - staff running around, folders being handed over, people sitting and waiting being missed, the order in which things were done got a bit confused sometimes, patients reminding passing nurses that others who arrived after them were seen before them. But all with good humor! But, in the end, I can see excellent again with both eyes - and that is what is really important.

My experience with CP&R…. has been fantastic…. everyone involved has been so very helpful…Becky….. Angela… Tom…. and my trainer Paddy….. (Patrick)…. he has been beyond amazing… from the start…. nothing but encouraging… always supportive…. I have had quite a few bumps along the way and he has always been so kind…. I feel so much stronger… and more confident…Paddy has a wonderful attitude…. full of kindness and nothing but encouragement…. he works you hard but understands one’s limitations… I cannot praise him highly enough…. and I shall never forget this experience…. he has become a lifelong friend…. and I wish him all the luck in the world going forwards…. I reckon CP&R are very lucky to have him!…. I would also like to say a thank you to you all but to Tom who stepped in a few times and was also so encouraging… and I always loved his texts of support…. Thank you!… Becky and Angela .. thank you too for all your support… although it’s been a much longer journey than I had realised…. out of hard times…… has come a lot of good …meeting you all!…. so a huge never ending thank you….

I always have a good experience when visiting the practice. The staff are always friendly. However, on the last visit I think there are things you guys need to review. I was in for a gel injection into my knee which was being carried out by Mr Dehne in the theatre. He had previously confirmed that it would be a simple procedure and that after a short time I would be fine to drive home. However, on arrival it was clear that the team believed I was in for a knee replacement. I was shown to my own room, asked to select from the menu for the following day, and given medication that I assume I didn't require! Further more, the team were loathed to let me drive home and I had to wait a couple of hours until they could check with Mr Dehne that it would be ok as all the paperwork confirmed otherwise. The theatre staff were double checking with me the reason for my visit so there was a checking procedure in place but you may need to review why there was confusion in the first place.

This was a follow-up appointment. It should have been after 2 weeks but because the practitioner works very part-time this wasn’t possible. She then said I should have been in sooner! Treatment not as successful as with past practitioners before we moved to this area (I had brought records to first appointment but she had suggested a different approach). Further treatment offered on the day of the follow-up but I felt the practitioner was getting very defensive and I was losing confidence, so I declined. When I was waiting to go in someone else was trying to book a follow-up appointment. When she couldn’t get one desk staff said it probably didn’t matter as most people don’t need it! This clinic suits me location wise but unfortunately this wasn’t a great experience so I won’t go back.

My visit with Mr Treharne was truly impactful. After many years I have finally got a diagnosis and future treatment is pending. He was able to signpost me to the next steps I need to take. He listened and importantly heard my story/concerns. He allowed me to lead the conversation. I never felt rushed. He took the time to offer me an ultrasound which gave us a lot of information. For the first time in years, I can see a little light at the end of a tunnel. Which will not only help me physically but will also help my emotional health. I went at 11 weeks for a scan and for a NIPT test. The booking process was excellent, the members on the phone were so helpful and considerate. My appointment with Dr Desi was on time and extremely thorough. She was so compassionate, caring and kind throughout the appointment, explaining everything each step of the way and being extremely thorough through the scan and explaining our NIPT options. It’s the best consulting experience I’ve had throughout my pregnancy. Reception staff were extremely helpful too. I would really recommend LPC to any expecting couples. Dont trust this doctor had Penis enlargement surgery with dr nenad on august i have lost almost 1 inch of erect lenght. I didnt get 1 inch soft guarented lenght plus lost almost 1 inch erect my surgery time was at 2pm i had the surgery at 7pm! And doctor nowhere to be seen. Its been 4 months now having erection problems i never had erection problem and still having pains. Doctor nenad is now telling me i can get my size back if i use traction device useless. If you really want to do it my advice is penis fillers. Dont let them damage your penis.

Saw Ben Shaw and instantly I knew I was in the safest hands. Been having dizzy spells and some vertigo. He gave me a full examination, tested everything asked loads of questions then treated me on the spot. Highly recommended!

I’ve never liked the NHS GP system. Ten minutes feels rushed and it isn’t suitable for those who want to pro actively look after their health and longevity. I’m also able to get any medication required delivered to my door. Having regular check ins gives me peace of mind that my health is in order.
