I had a consultant review with Dr Shaikh for the re-initiation and titration of medication for a pre-existing ADHD diagnosis. I chose Mentis Clinic as it was the most affordable option I found during my research, particularly considering that their service includes consultant review, medication titration appointments, prescriptions, and a shared care agreement. My previous notes were reviewed promptly, and I was offered an initial consultant appointment within a week, followed by a titration appointment the following week. Dr Shaikh was very attentive and took the time to understand my circumstances and reasons for seeking re-initiation and titration of medication. There was no waiting list, which meant I was seen extremely quickly. The pharmacy also handled my prescription efficiently, with medication delivered in a timely manner. After the initial consultant review, I received my clinic letter very quickly and was given the opportunity to request amendments, which were dealt with promptly. I was provided with comprehensive information about medication options and was also given a letter of support for education and employment without even having to request one, which was something I genuinely needed. I am extremely satisfied with the service I have received from Mentis Clinic and would highly recommend them to anyone seeking assessment or ongoing care for ADHD.

Recently wanted an MOT to check that my heart was all fine due to having a HA at a young age. I had an ECG and a Stress Echogram procedure prior to my consultation with Mr Wilkinson. I requested to see Mr Wilkinson, as it was him who performed emergency stent procedures on me 14 years ago, and it was really great to see him again after all these years. Mr Wilkinson is top of his field and a very lovely guy. The nurse who performed my tests was really professional and friendly and very helpful. My consultation went very well and put my mind at ease. I went private as I wanted some Piece of mind and the NHS only deal with reactive situations (IE heart attack) and are not interested in supporting people years after treatments unless you have a serious issue. I can 100% recommend anyone looking to book private consultation / tests via Spite hospital. I only have one major gripe… they no longer, and for some time do not take a credit card payment (no longer use a card machine) the reasons were explained, as you can only do a BACS transfer now. I find this very unhelpful and this should be reinstated. If you have lots of spare cash around to complicate then this will not be a problem for you, but for people who use this service and it’s an extra expense, it’s more difficult. I would use Spite more if a credit card service was available.

I had a total hip replacement about 6 months ago after years of pain and stiffness in my hip joint. As I am only in my late 40s I was reluctant to get it replaced at a relatively young age. Since the procedure I have felt like a different person and the pain that I had went immediately after the operation. I have just had a routine 6 month checkup with Mr Malek and the hip has healed nicely. I chose Mr Malek due to his experience with minimal evasive hip surgery and from the initial consultation through to the operation and aftercare I have been highly impressed with the overall process and his work. He is very approchable and helpful and made me feel I was in good hands. Furthermore, there has been little damage to the affected area which has allowed me to recover very quickly. Eventually I will need my other hip replacing and I will be returning to Mr Malek for this procedure to.

My son had a surgical extraction and the procedure was very calm and relaxed for him. I was able to be there too, so I watched the whole procedure and was very impressed at how clean the procedure was, resulting in a positive experience and successful extraction, ahead of upcoming orthodontic work. Waiting times weren't too long, although for private treatment we had hoped to be seen a little sooner than we were. The practice staff were friendly and very welcoming and high standards were evident throughout, in terms of hygiene and care. My son has no pain and is recovering well.

The group therapy sessions and the structure of the day was very helpful in helping my recovery. I have always been happy with the service and patient experience at the London Clinic. However, when I went for my MRI on a Saturday morning, MRI department was closed and there was no information about it. I had to go around the hospital to try and find out what was going on. After about an hour I was finally sent to another MRI scanner on a different floor . The clinicians there were lovely and very apologetic about the experience I had although it was not their fault.
