I went to OSD Hemel Hempstead to get my cast removed following my rhinoplasty. When we got there, we were taken straight to the room & were left there for about 20mins for the nurse to find the equipment, upon her return the appointment was rushed and no information was provided for my aftercare. I was asking many questions however, she seemed reluctant to answer any (as simple as, how long do I need to tape for - she couldn’t answer). Following a conversation with my surgeons direct nurse, I found out that the nurse at OSD had not taped my nose correctly, nor removed the glue from my face. I felt rushed out of the appointment & not very well looked after. My surgeon came to review my nose post cast removal which was reassuring & he mentioned that the OSD nurse would provide me with all the information I’d need - she did not.

I have been a client of the surgery for many years going back to when Johnathan Richardson set up the practice just off Wilson's Corner. I continued to use the surgery when premises were established in Shenfield. It was when I experienced heart problems some 5 years ago that I found Dr. Athreya to be particularly helpful. He offered his private cell phone number should I need help or advice at this difficult time prior to surgery. This literally proved a lifeline. I saw Dr. Athreya on 4th December this year and as usual he was able to diagnose the problem and prescribe a treatment plan. Dr Athreya is an experienced, knowledgeable practitioner and a credit to the team at EPD. He puts patients at ease and is interested in their experiences. I was sorry to hear he was leaving for I feel sure he will be sorely missed.

Overall experience with Dorset Heart Clinic is excellent. We telephoned to book the appointment and able to choose the time that is convenient to us. As a self funded patient, the appointment is very speedy. Administrator is also very informative and helpful including parking. The consultation is very informative and reassuring. We have chosen to see the consultant that we have seen via the NHS as he would be familiar with our condition. The emails followed up also very quick and timely with the consultation report for us to keep for our records. Any concerns have been dealt with swiftly. Overall, a very good experience and have already booked a follow up next month. Thank you Dr Chahal and thank you Tim.

I first met Miss Taylor in December 24 as I was suffering with excruciating gynaecological symptoms. Miss Taylor almost instantly gave me the answers I was hoping for after 4 years of pain and NHS dismal. I had always felt so comfortable with Miss Taylor and felt reassured within her care. Yesterday I had my laparoscopy for Endometriosis and Miss Taylor accommodated me so much as I was extremely nervous and had been putting the surgery off due to nerves. I had received what was probably the best care I’ve ever experienced and I successfully had my endometriosis and adenoymosis answers. I really can’t recommend Miss Taylor enough. My entire experience with Dr Gamble and the staff has always been outstanding. My appointments are greeted with polite and friendly staff and everything is on time. I find Dr Gamble very friendly and easy to discuss my health matters with. He explains everyone very well and I always receive his report very shortly after my visit. It's nice not to have to try and remember the details of our discussions. I definitely that Dr Gamble listens and understands my feelings when we do discuss my health condition. I feel personally attended and not like the "next patient".

It was average. £380 for a 30 min appointment in a Knightsbridge mansion... Disappointing not to be offered any water or tea/coffee whilst waiting and being told to arrive 30 minutes before. Was expecting a high-end service. Felt very basic and outdated, but I cannot fault the clinical service and everyone was friendly. Just feels like a complete rip-off and completely out of proportion cost.

I had to have 4 visits to get a crown fitted on a rear tooth. Hours after the first temporary crown was fitted it fell off. I attended the surgery the following day to have a second temporary crown fitted but was not informed that, as it was a different Dentist, this would incur a separate charge which is not good practice. This second temporary crown also fell off after a couple of days.

Very personable, i felt he listened to me and understood and explained the procedure clearly .He did stop at times if the treatment got a bit uncomfortable and would check i was ok.
