I have recently had a hysterectomy performed by Professor Bunkheila. The operation was a great success and I cannot thank the Professor enough for his compassion and care from my initial appointment through to the post op consultation. Professor Bunkheila was the nicest gentleman to deal with, listened to all my concerns and was reassuring and professional when discussing all the pros and cons to having such a procedure. His kind, caring manner made me feel so comfortable and after many years of extreme pain and debilitating medical conditions, I felt finally that someone was actually listening to me and could make a difference. I was very poorly at my initial consultation and now feel 100% recovered and it has been truly life changing. Professor Bunkheila and his medical team of anaesthetists were wonderful on the two occasions of my surgery as I was very nervous, but both times they were so reassuring. All the staff were very kind and efficient, my personal ward room was clean and the catering was very good. I would also like to thank a particular gentleman called Anil who performed my pre operative assessment blood tests, I am very needle phobic and was terrified but he ensured that it was done swiftly and with such kindness towards me, I was so grateful.

When I first met Mr Daniel Fudulu. I was extremely nervous. I’m very worried as you can imagine I’ve never been to the BRI..Also being far away from home .. Mr Daniel Fudulu made me relaxed and extremely welcome. he spoke then paused and asked if I had any questions which I felt was very helpful and not once I felt rushed..after 10mins I felt so relaxed and realised we had a lot in common. I knew Mr Daniel Fudulu was the one to give me a second chance of life . He was fantastic understood me and understood my worries took the time to listen to me & never once felt rushed .i just knew I could 100% trust Mr Daniel Fuduluand his team with my life. Also, the care I received at the BRI was fantastic. The intensive care team was brilliant helped me for start to finish and then the recovery ward was just to say even when I was lonely where my family was far away the cleaner the tea lady all took time to talk to me, which made my day a lot better. Thank you be alright have a special thank you too. The whole experience of my hip joint replacement was excellent. At the initial consultation Mr Obaidi diagnosed the hip problem with the help of x-rays and explained the best treatment which was replacement. The whole process of the operation starting on 22nd November 2025 from the friendly receptionist at Bishops wood hospital to the discharge the next day could not have been better. The anaesthetist and theatre staff put me at ease and waking up on the afternoon after the operation and speaking with Mr Obaidi who confirmed all went well. My recovery was faster than I had expected and no pain killers were necessary the day after the operation. The follow up with Mr Obaidi went well and I feel fully recovered and starting to play golf again.

The waiting area had few chairs and not enough for the people waiting. The people around there that gave me paperwork and told me where to wait, were polite and helpful. The appointment with the consultant was really distressing, I couldn't ask questions and didn't discussed with me the plan, just set up steps without getting me involved on her treatment plan. This experience was very negative from what I expected when you go to a professional asking for advice and reviewing if your body is working well. I had booked a vitamin infusion. The whole experience was a desaster. The nurses used several needles but were not able to “find a good Vene” as they called it. They said my venes are the problem which is ridiculous as I had been to your place to get infusions multiple times and there never was a problem. As a result, I now have three large bruises and my arms hurt. I left without getting the infusion. The ladies did not even apologize. In my view, they should get proper training both when it comes to doing injections and servicing clients. I will not return.

Dr Georgiou was extremely kind and generous with his time, despite this being a second-opinion consultation. My uncle was diagnosed with advanced, stage IV malignancy, and Dr Georgiou approached the case with seriousness and care, without being dismissive or overlooking treatment options. He supported the appropriate treatment plan, and after four cycles my uncle is doing remarkably well. His clear explanations and compassionate attitude gave our family reassurance and confidence at a very difficult time.

From what I could gather he did not have any slots open ! . That was on the 8th of January and I was told that someone would be in touch. It is now the 17th of January and I would like to know a date so that I can arrange as far as possible to be free then .
