Any queries were dealt with promptly, and my progress was monitored appropriately. Overall, the combination of clinical expertise, clear communication, particularly around lens choice and considerate care resulted in a positive experience and a very satisfactory visual outcome. I had a consultant review with Dr Shaikh for the re-initiation and titration of medication for a pre-existing ADHD diagnosis. I chose Mentis Clinic as it was the most affordable option I found during my research, particularly considering that their service includes consultant review, medication titration appointments, prescriptions, and a shared care agreement. My previous notes were reviewed promptly, and I was offered an initial consultant appointment within a week, followed by a titration appointment the following week. Dr Shaikh was very attentive and took the time to understand my circumstances and reasons for seeking re-initiation and titration of medication. There was no waiting list, which meant I was seen extremely quickly. The pharmacy also handled my prescription efficiently, with medication delivered in a timely manner. After the initial consultant review, I received my clinic letter very quickly and was given the opportunity to request amendments, which were dealt with promptly. I was provided with comprehensive information about medication options and was also given a letter of support for education and employment without even having to request one, which was something I genuinely needed. I am extremely satisfied with the service I have received from Mentis Clinic and would highly recommend them to anyone seeking assessment or ongoing care for ADHD.

He provided a very helpful explanation of the procedures that would form part of my surgery and associated risks and benefits so that I left feeling well informed. The surgery itself went to plan and in the check-ins we had over the following few days while I was in hospital he was kind and reassuring. In our subsequent follow up meeting he took the time to talk me through the histology report, giving me plenty of time to ask questions. I was a little concerned because my appointment was delayed due to a problem with the machine but everyone was so kind and comforting. My appointment could have been rearranged for another date but everything was done to ensure my operation went ahead that day. This I very much appreciated because I was really worried about having the procedure. I was very nervous but Dr Ho explained what he was doing and what to expect every step of the way and this helped me to relax. Nick from Physio Jack Studios was really great. I had what I thought was a typical calf strain but all the standard treatments from another physio did not heal it. 4 weeks out from a marathon, I was unable to run 1km without pain. Nick went through a very thorough diagnostic appointment, corrected my diagnosis to an overloading issue at a specific calf/achilles muscle complex and guided me through multiple plyometric exercises and a progressive running plan to allow me to finish the marathon in 3hrs 40mins. Could not recommend him highly enough, super knowledgeable, detailed and passionate 👍

I have had two consultations with Mr Stone so far which have been excellent. Mr Stone is thorough, professional and knowledgeable. He is very caring, patient and an extremely good communicator. I am hoping the steroid injections I have received will work wonders but if I do need an operation I have every confidence that Mr Stone will look after me extremely well.

Incredibly long wait times, and very poor communication. Repeated requests for infiormation I've already given them and they kept changing which "portal" they wanted to use. The diagnoses for one condition came as an email, with no human touch, no next steps, no follow-up. Was just left to fend for myself. The diagnoses for the other condition was by video call, with a very disenterested practitioner who clearler didn't take on board the severity of my struggles.

Every stage of my procedure for my cataract operations (both eyes a week apart) went like 'a dream' from the excellent initial Consultation with Professor Luff, to the 2 excellently/professionally executed outpatient operations he and his excellent team carried out, to the excellent aftercare and not to mention the miraculous results!. If anyone (like me!) is petrified of such procedures I would highly recommend Professor Luff and his Sapphire Team.

9/10 My Sonographer Rima Shah was fantastic, professional and informative. To improve the service i think it would be nice if a cardiologists could quickly glance/look over results and give a brief written note/summary of results/heart health. It is a shame that in order to get a cardiologists insight/reassurance I then have to rebook and pay for an additional appointment.
