Had an appointment for hip injections. I was seen on time. The consultant Mr Howell and radiologists Rachel and Natalie were all amazing. They were welcoming, friendly, professional and warm. They helped me to relax, feel comfortable, assured and confident. I have had the absolute pleasure of meeting many of the staff at St Hugh's and would recommend the hospital to anyone. The people are so genuine, lovely, human, friendly and professional. You are welcomed by the reception staff immediately upon arrival and the experience continues throughout. I appreciate that the staff work in a relatively calm setting, but they make the experience. This is a really well run hospital overseen by the director Ellen and her deputy Sarah. The consultants are of the highest quality. This is an amazing local resource which must be protected. The hospital undertake vital NHS work as well as private work. NHS pressures challenge the continued operation of St Hugh's, which would be a tragedy. Thanks and best wishes to everyone! Xx

I had an excellent experience with Professor Sharma and couldn’t recommend him more highly. From the first appointment, he was professional, calm, and extremely thorough. He took the time to listen carefully to my concerns, explained everything clearly in a way that was easy to understand, and made sure I felt comfortable asking questions. What stood out most was his attention to detail and genuine care. I never felt rushed, and the consultation felt very thoughtful and patient-focused. Robert Grounds provided an exceptional initial consultation in respect of my ongoing balance issues following a stoke I suffered a year ago. His questioning to find out key areas of my background and relevance to balance issues was impressive. I was pleased that all initial balance tests were completed within the initial consultation and this left me with answers immediately to explain my condition. I was incredibly impressed to receive Robert Grounds full letter just a few hours later via. the portal with a detailed summary of his findings explained in very clear terms which was remarkable. Truly exceptional service from an amazing professional. Highly recommended.

On arrival the receptionist was really friendly. I checked my details then went for to see the consultant Mr Sherif (not sure on spelling) he was efficient and professional and his nurse was really friendly. Then the mammogram with a really lovely technician. She was friendly and gentle and told me what she was doing each and every step. Then a short wait of about 10 minutes and off to the ultrasound which was carried out by friendly and professional staff. Then my final stop back to see the consultant “the Sherif” ! Where he delivered the good news followed by some advice. What a super friendly and efficient service! Can’t fault it Xx

I’ve even sent friends to her when they’ve had health concerns and all sing her praises after the first visit. She could not be more helpful, is incredibly knowledgeable but most importantly is friendly and understanding. You never feel rushed or dismissed, she listens and offers invaluable support.

Miss Memoona Khalid who did my scan was extremely professional and made my experience very easy and comfortable. She put me at ease and eliminated all the anxiety and stress i had. I only had to wait about 10 minutes and I was called in. I saw the nurse first and answered various questions and then a further 10 minutes I went into see the doctor I have seen before. She gave me a thorough examination which included a scan. I was given new drops and some eyelid cream. I left very satisfied with my examination and treatment I was given. Thank you.

I was seen in the endoscopy unit not in the private wing. The receptionist had disappeared for nearly 20 mins and I waited along with 3 other NHS patients one of whom was very elderly. Clinical care was good and as expected. Recovery nurse was not welcoming either and didn’t even offer anything for patients who had nothing for 24 hours plus.

Plenty of spaces in the carpark. Paying for parking was easy once I’d downloaded the app. Was worried about finding where I had to go in the hospital, but a member of staff who was carrying out lift maintenance at the time, kindly guided me in the right direction.
