Dr Chan, was AMAZING in every sense of the word. After our first meeting it was immediately clear to me that we had to be under his care, he was extremely professionally, knowledgeable and calm - but more importantly he cared, you could tell he genuinely really cared and he took the time to get to know you. Dr Chan took care of me throughout my pregnancy, it was my first an we had lots of unknowns to deal with but he made everything feel so easy at all times. I felt taken care of, and cared for throughout and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The last month of my pregnancy was a tough one and I had some unexpected turns which left me feeling a little anxious about the birth of our first born, but Dr Chan took me completely under his wing and reassured me at all times that I had nothing to worry about… and he was SO RIGHT. Going into the theatre room full of people for my c-section, I was understandably nervous but then seeing chan’s happy (always smiley!) face walk through the door in scrubs made me instantly relax. Having a familiar face made all the difference, I instant knew I was in safe hands and all would be well. I couldn’t imagine ever going into that situation and not having a friendly face that I know on the other end, it’s safe to say that for the next baby and however many more - I will always be using Dr Chan! I cannot recommend him enough, without a doubt the most important investment we made during our pregnancy period. Thank you Dr Chan to you and your amazing team, for everything from the bottom of my heart, I will always be grateful for the safe, calm delivery of our gorgeous little boy! Abigail x

I sought treatment after being refused by the state health care services here in Germany. They congratulated me that I was healthy when my bloodworm showed testosterone levels of 280ng/dL (cut off point for treatment is 220) and sent me on my way, feeling exhausted no matter how much rest or sleep I got I wasn’t able to be a good dad for my two little children which is heartbreaking for me. So I took matters into my own hands and settled on BMH after contacting a few provider. Extremely professional, the case manager Tal was consistently attentive, showed genuine interest in my case. After two blood tests over the course of six weeks I was accepted and within a couple of weeks thereafter started treatment. Well, what a life changing experience that was. If you have creaking joints, feel tired all the time, libido on the way out, just go for it. Become alive again. No need to live like that. Anyway, I hope that is convincing enough for you dear reader! State health services are no longer fit for purpose. Whether you get treatment is a financial decision and doesn’t reflect your suffering. So take your health into your own hands.

The One Welbeck centre was immaculately clean and tastefully furnished. The waiting room areas felt more like a Hotel than a clinic which I found relaxing. All of the staff that I encountered in the Breast clinic were professional and polite. I was seen quickly. The entire process from beginning to end was very smooth and efficient. Mr Leeper is an extraordinary Consultant, he is incredibly charming, polite, personable, kind, approachable, and eloquent. I felt very comfortable speaking with Mr Leeper, and being assessed by him. When the results of my mammogram and scan were received Mr Leeper very kindly took the time to explain the results to me in detail using easy to understand language. I particularly appreciated Mr Leeper's attention to detail, and kindness in interpreting complex medical terminology in such a way that it made complete sense to me. I would highly recommend Mr Leeper. Mr Leeper's Breast Cancer Nurse was also very welcoming and professional. Thank you for delivering such excellent care.

Mr Jonathan Pollock

At the outset I was nervous as the suspected bcc was in an awkward place. Mr Pollock talked through all the options with me and I was happy with the decision to go for a "small margin" in the first instance. The excision was done on 26th November. The surgery went well. Mr Pollock did an excellent job, particularly because it was around the mouth area. On 31st December I had a follow up appointment to find out the results. Mr Pollock reiterated the discussion we had previously had about the various options and then told me it was an infiltrative bcc with roots . I was very worried at the prospect of more surgery. He then told me he had successfully got it all out. Tip for next time: Maybe lead with "Its good news".

Had the most amazing time at Abbington House, was exactly what I needed. Was immediately made to feel welcome by staff and clients, everyone has been so warm, friendly and non - judgemental. Food was excellent and the chef Marion was amazing at catering for everyone’s individual needs. I’ve gotten so much out of the groups and one on one sessions. After 28 days I feel like I have been given an amazing framework to take with me on the outside and have met a community that will stay with me throughout the rest of my journey. I had my surgery at The Park Hospital and my experience was excellent. The hospital was very clean and well maintained, and all of the staff were extremely helpful, caring, and professional throughout my visit. I felt very well looked after from start to finish. The food was good, there were free hot drinks available, and the physiotherapy support was excellent. Overall, it was a really positive experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Park Hospital.

Mr Murthy was most kind and was willing to operate but said that services were not available and that the anesthetist would not operate. He advised me to continue via NHS. Given these facts and that this was the 4th consultant I have seen I am far from happy. No criticism of Mr Murthy he was extremely kind and honest.
