I had a very good experience with Visio Health when I had recent laser treatment following cataract surgery on both eyes with Ms Sandhu. The cataract surgery, which took place in hospital in July and October, has been very successful. I no longer need glasses after having vision corrective lenses. And I hadn’t realised quite how blurred and sepia my sight had become. My vision is now very clear and bright. It really has positively impacted my life. Everything looks like it did back when I was young. It’s so much more cheerful than that blurry, yellow sight that I had grown so used to. And I am so much more confident when driving. No more night glare. I was really apprehensive and anxious about cataract surgery. So much so that it was decided that I would have the procedure under general anaesthetic. But I can honestly say that despite all the worry the end result is better than I could have imagined. The laser treatment at Visio to improve my sight further with one session of laser treatment was totally painless, very straightforward and uncomplicated. The clinic was very well organised and the staff were all lovely. A very good experience.

Asked to be 15 mins early for scan, but then not called until 30 mins or so after time of appointment without any prior indication of running late (perhaps because it was at 6pm ). Head scanner was still busy so junior radiologer kindly chatted to me for 15 mins after I'd changed to kill time. Having been told it would take 15 mins, scan took about 45 mins and team forgot to talk to me or put music on despite me saying I was a bit claustrophic (but can get by ok). Then at 8pm, no doubt in rush to scan next person, they didn't remove cannula so i wandered around to find another staff member to do that who happily obliged. Not a major problem but not up to Cleveland usual standards. Staff were all very friendly though, but perhaps clinic shouldn't book in patients at end of day if they can't really handle them properly.

My son is coming to the end of his treatment for Pectus Excavatum and is pleased with the results having used the vacuum bell for almost two years. Mr Hunt has always been very honest with him and we knew from the start that correcting a 2.6cm dip was not going to happen because of his age (16yrs). However, my son is delighted with his 1cm improvement and for him it has made a difference and he is very grateful that he was accepted to be treated by Mr Hunt. My son is now 18yrs and knows that it is unlikely that his chest will improve further but he is going to finish the two year treatment plan and then start to wind down wearing the vacuum bell. He wears it at night for 8 hours which has worked well for him.

What can I say about Ms Warner, she has been such a big help to me not only medically but she has calmed me down when another hospital had no idea what to do with my condition she broke everything down and has made me feel so comfortable with the whole process. She is very attentive, explains everything in much simpler terms and is very empathetic. Her medical knowledge is very vast. Her team under her also respect her so much and she has taken so much time to train them to lead just like her. Thank you so much for all you do and are doing for me. Wish she was my general doctor.

I had booked a vitamin infusion. The whole experience was a desaster. The nurses used several needles but were not able to “find a good Vene” as they called it. They said my venes are the problem which is ridiculous as I had been to your place to get infusions multiple times and there never was a problem. As a result, I now have three large bruises and my arms hurt. I left without getting the infusion. The ladies did not even apologize. In my view, they should get proper training both when it comes to doing injections and servicing clients. I will not return.

This was my 2 nd cataract op with Mr Kamran Khan at Newmedica Leeds. I was very happy with my treatment with everyone especially Wr Kamran Khan who I can’t recommend enough, he was friendly, assuring and also the lovely nurse who looked after me after my op. Sorry I can’t remember her name but she was so caring. Anyone going for a cararact op this place is brilliant and everyone I came in contact with both times I was there I feel I couldn’t have had better. Someone calls you the following day to check that you are okay so everything perfect. Thank you all.

I was concerned about my prolapsed and the discomfort it was causing. I had been referred to community gynaecologist after several visits to my GP and felt anxious about the wait to see someone for an assessment. Mr Martin Furrigia after an examination advised that my prolapse was mild and to continue with the pessaries twice a week including carry out pelvic floor exercises and to insist on a scan once I had seen the NHS community gynaecologist. His knowledge and confidence in his subject made me feel so much better and I felt less worried.

From the moment I met him I knew I was talking to someone at the top of his field . I had been badly let down by the hospital in Stoke . I had been using a catheter for four months and there was no clear plan to carry out the surgery I needed . I saw Mr Liew on November 12th 2025 and my operation was on December 3rd 2025 and was a complete success. If you have problems with an enlarged prostate or similar I cannot reccomend Mr Liew highly enough . He has a clear expertise in this field and I am really grateful for his help .

I chose galaxy lenses for my cataract surgery and am now very happy with the results. No need whatsoever for any glasses. The staff were all very kind and supportive, along with Mr Hove the surgeon who was quick and efficient with the procedure. I would recommend anyone who is thinking of this procedure to not be anxious, it is quick and painless and though your vision is a little blurry after it doesn't take long to resolve. I found the GP we visited to be welcoming and friendly, he was very informative and honest with things however I found the reception staff to be the opposite they were not very welcoming and I felt that they were closed of from any type of communication or request I did not like that they were so miserable no smiles just blank I didn't like the experience or the feeling I felt when walking into the practise but the doctor was great.
