Newmedica Leeds. 5* Care from start to finish. My optician at Specsavers suggested it was time to consider cataract surgery and I was offered an NHS referral to my choice of providers. I chose Newmedica Leeds and just over 2-3 weeks later had an initial consultation at Newmedica. Unfortunately my high blood pressure caused some problems and delayed the first cataract operation to my left eye, after 4-5 weeks weeks I had surgery on my first eye and 5-6 weeks later my second eye was done. Without exception all of the staff I met at Newmedica were friendly, helpful, and very caring. The consultant who carried out the procedure on both eyes (Mr. Kamran Khan) took the time to explain the procedure and answer my questions. During the procedures he was reassuring and calmly explained what was happening. Both procedures were carried out successfully and my sight is so much better now. I would like to give a big thank you to Mr Kamran Khan and his team and my Optometrist Summer Elyoussfi and her team for all the care and attention I received. I have no hesitation in recommending Newmedica Leeds.

Mr Farid truly went above and beyond for me. After being diagnosed with cholecystitis in December and spending a week in hospital, I was eager to seek quick help. Shahid came highly recommended to me - and I’m so glad he did! From the first consultation, it was clear that he was on the ball and was able to fit me in for surgery faster than I’d hoped. My initial hospital experience in December had left me a little shaken, but with Mr Farid I finally felt like I was in safe hands. My operation ended up being a little more tricky than anticipated (or so I’m told!), which makes me even more thankful that I went with a good surgeon. The experience at Spire Hospital Leeds was also top notch, with absolutely wonderful staff (and a great lunch menu!). Mr Farid checked in on me frequently on recovery, which was highly appreciated. I am now recovering well at home.

My experience with Nuffield Health was excellent from start to finish. The whole process was smooth, well organised, and reassuring at every stage. The staff were professional, friendly, and genuinely caring. From reception through to the clinical team, everyone made me feel comfortable and well looked after. Communication was clear, appointments ran on time, and I always felt informed about what was happening. The facilities were clean, modern, and well maintained, which added to the overall sense of confidence and professionalism. The care I received was of a very high standard, and I felt supported throughout. I would not hesitate to recommend Nuffield Health to anyone looking for high quality healthcare delivered with kindness and professionalism.

The staff were nice and supportive but the doctor Ravi Ratnavel was unprofessional in both visits. He had no empathy towards me as his patient, didn’t show that he cared at all. He gets defensive when asked questions and eventually told me he lost fascination in my condition. He also said I’m obsessing for asking questions within my rights as a patient, especially as his inputs have not been considerate caring or consistent. The administration and governance committee decided that his behavior is aligned with quality care so I would not recommend this clinic to anyone

I owe so much to Dr Theodorou. We spent loads of time in research finding the right consultant and clinic for us, and I'm so pleased to say we chose correctly. He understood immediately that I wanted to give IVF everything I had on the first go without sacrificing my mental health, body, or finances. He helped me find the right balance of testing and treatment and really tailored everything to me. Because of his careful and kind manner, I was successful on my first and only cycle of ICSI. My son is now 5 months old, and I honestly still can't believe it's real.

I had a great experience with Dr. Aradhna Gupta and her team. I was seen right on time, and the receptionist was very accommodating when I needed to adjust my appointment time. Dr. Gupta was friendly and welcoming, as was her assistant, which made the visit very comfortable. She gave me a thorough check-up and took X-rays to ensure everything was properly assessed. I’m very satisfied with both the examination and the overall service.

The treatment and care I was given in relation to my THR was exceptional. Post op I suffered from some spasms and instead of just prescribing anti spasmodic pain relief over the phone, Mr Tsialogiannis saw me on the ward even though it was a Sunday afternoon and not during his working hours. The problem was swiftly resolved. I also appreciated being shown my pre and post op x rays at my follow up appointment.
