It's not fair that being an NHS patient meant that we couldnt use the disabled parking, which was empty, right outside the hospital, meaning a much longer and uncomfortable walk. We we greeted well upon arrival and called through almost immediately. Although I found the nurse abrupt and abrasive to start with, I put this down to her working from the computer, checking through info. Perhaps that wasn't her strong point with technology. I have many complex needs, including some communication needs, being ADHD and Autistic. I clearly hadn't understood some of the portal questions and answered them differently to its intended expected responses. Perhaps some more understanding around neurodivergent conditions would be helpful and clarity around the context of their questioning, rather than to feel berated for replying "I fear spiders". The question asked for my fears or what I am scared of, if it was specifically regarding the procedure, it should have been clearer. I was clearly struggling with the bright lights in the office, holding my srm up to shield my eyes from the lighting, even commenting to my daughter who I took with me, my questionnaire replies would have told her I am photophobic, but because of how she initially presented to me, I felt unable to raise my concerns and ask for the lights to be adjusted. (This resulted in triggering a migraine after I left). Im still working on advocating for my own needs. Once the computer work was complete and she faced me to go through expectations of the operation day, she mellowed and warmed, her body language positively changed. This helped reduce my heightened anxiety. She was very good when it came to taking my bloods and I didnt even feel it, for the first time ever. I left feeling far less anxious than I did upon arrival.

I had my second follow-up appointment after surgery with Mr Sprott, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He was incredibly attentive, patient, and genuinely caring. He took the time to listen to my updates about my recovery and explained my X-ray results in a way that was easy to understand and very reassuring. What stood out most was his warm and calm manner. He made me feel comfortable, confident, and truly cared for throughout what has been a challenging recovery journey. After undergoing such a complex surgery, having a surgeon who combines exceptional technical skill with genuine compassion has made all the difference. Mr Sprott has been supportive not just with my physical recovery, but also in understanding the broader impact the success of this surgery would have on my day to day life. His thoroughness in explaining each stage of healing, his patience in answering my questions, and his realistic yet encouraging approach have given me confidence throughout the recovery process. I left the appointment feeling positive and encouraged about my progress. I’m very grateful for the care and support he has provided throughout my recovery. I would highly recommend Mr Sprott to anyone needing orthopedic care.

Having already had my right hip successfully replaced by the NHS, when my left hip began to be seriously debilitating and painful I was told that there would be a considerable wait for the operation. Therefore I turned to the private sector. Mr Dehne had excellent reviews and impressive qualifications, so I choose the Practice Plus group Hospital Birmingham where he works. I was well looked after by the team at the hospital, the private room and on suite was very comfortable and clean. My operation went well, first day recovery was difficult due to my very low blood pressure. However this was carefully managed and subsequent recovery was slightly quicker than my previous hip replacement. Now ten weeks after surgery the hip feels strong, pain free and I am able to return to an active life style. Roedd triniaeth Mr Dehne yn prydlon ac effeithiol, diolch iddo fo dwi yn medru unwaith eto mwynhau cerdded yn cefn gwald Cymru, yn mwynhau reidio beic ac yn edrych ymlaen i fwynhau hwylio haf nesaf. Felly, Diolch yn Fawr Mr Dehne

Mr Laniado has been monitoring my prostate for several years because of relatively high PSA readings. In 2024 he recommended an MRI scan which did not indicate any cancer. A year later in the summer of 2025 he recommended another MRI scan, which subsequently did show likely prostate cancer. This was confirmed by biopsy. Because he had been closely monitoring me, the cancer was caught early and I was therefore suitable for Nanoknife surgery, which took place as a day case in October 2025. An MRI scan a week later showed that the cancer had been completely destroyed, which was fantastic and very welcome news. Throughout Mr Laniado was extremely professional, and it is clear he takes a great deal of satisfaction in helping others. Anyone would be lucky to have him as their consultant. A big shout out to Maggie and Zoe in the office as well, who are very attentive and responsive.

Hello Lucy, I really wanted to reach out and say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Even though I’ve only seen you twice, you’ve made such a genuine difference to me. Your kindness, patience, and the way you’ve taken the time to understand what I need has honestly meant so much. You’ve helped me in ways you probably don’t even realise — not just with my treatment, but with giving me the confidence and clarity about the next steps and the referrals I need. I’m truly grateful for how supported and cared for you made me feel. I was really sad to hear that you’re leaving. It’s hard to put into words how much I’ll miss having you as my dentist, but I’m also so happy for you and whatever comes next. You deserve every bit of success and happiness, because you are genuinely amazing at what you do and at how you make people feel. Thank you, truly, for everything. Elise D

I’m incredibly grateful for the care Mr. Yusuf provided both for my child and for myself. He was patient, reassuring, and extremely thorough when treating my child’s conjunctivitis. He explained everything clearly, made my child feel comfortable, and ensured we knew exactly how to manage the symptoms at home. The improvement was quick thanks to his guidance. I also saw Mr. Yusuf for my post-LASIK follow-up care, and once again he was outstanding. He took the time to check every detail, answer all my questions, and give clear advice on how to maintain the best healing and long-term results. His professionalism and kindness really stand out. I highly recommend Mr. Yusuf to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, caring, and trustworthy ophthalmologist. We couldn’t have asked for better care.

It was a lovely experience having worked for Nuffield Hospital in the very building. I hardly recognised it as it was many years ago. But still remains a lovely building. I was waiting for a HM Courts' Service job at the time. I was very pleased with Mr Arun Khajuria, he explained my knees problem thoroughly and I have great confidence in him. I look forward to seeing him in attending my second appointment. All the staff were so helpful to me but, only thing Patient Tansport, very late picking me up and suffered a very painful leg from sitting so long. In one position. I accept that this is inevitable and can happen with this Service as they have a number of patients to get to their various appointments.

I want to sincerely thank Abbey, Vita, and Dr. Chauhan for making my recent appointment such a positive experience. From the moment I arrived, Abbey at reception guided me with clarity and warmth, helping me find the right floor and making the process smooth, in a way that felt personal and tailored, not generic. Vita added a spark of cheer to the day, balancing professionalism with a friendly, engaging personality. Dr. Chauhan was extraordinary (see Dr. Review). Their compassion, attentiveness, and thoughtful guidance made me feel truly heard and respected, which is rare and deeply appreciated. Thank you for making the appointment not just helpful, but genuinely meaningful.

Mr Agu was one of 3 surgeons who carried out my operation. I travelled to London for my procedure as my local Neurosurgery department planned to maintain me on ineffective medication with debilitating side effects. The operation and recovery has been entirely uneventful. I am no longer requiring medication. I have returned to work. I have experienced none of the potential complications. I surprisingly have no obvious scarring. Mr Agu and his team have immeasurably changed my life for the better. In addition to being an excellent surgeon he was professional and courteous during my consultations and reviews. I can’t thank him enough

Mr Saleh explained in clear detail exactly what the procedure would be. He has a very pleasant manner, also displaying great patience and consideration as I’m not the easiest person to be around sometimes. The outcome of my deep plane facelift was exceptional - the results far exceeded my expectations. Mr Saleh didn’t over play the potential outcome he offered realistic outcomes but to my delight the results were beyond what I’d hoped far. I’m 4.5 years on from the process but the results have held super well, so on that basis I can only recommend to potential patients to look no further. A deserved 5 star ⭐ from me.

I had an injury last year on my left calf alongside recurring main in my right foot so wanted to get them checked. Dr Lord effectively assessed my calf, showed a very small tear, and then looked at my feet and told me there’s minor thickening in one of the tendons, which wouldn’t require any intervention but recommended physio for both including some effective stretching. Now I’ve got my report I can give to my physio and monitor it more effectively ACTUALLY knowing what’s wrong.

The ADHD coaching I received was excellent. It was so nice to work with someone who had lived experience; it made all the difference. My coach was understanding, compassionate and a great mentor as well as a coach. She asked really thought provoking questions which helped me to think deeper and come up with solutions that would work for the challenges I was facing due to my ADHD and being Mum to an AuDHD daughter.

I walked up 12 floors as there were no lifts available.Only 14% capacity.I got to the Thames view suite via the cardiac lift because a cardiac unit staff member took pity on me and put me into lift 14 to complete my Access Path to the private patients unit. What on earth is going on and why does the lift maintenance contract not have a 50% minimum functionality profile as a term for service?

More information at discharge would be good. Details of medication were well explained but information about how much to mive about, how to deal with swelling not so well covered.
