Dr Chan, was AMAZING in every sense of the word. After our first meeting it was immediately clear to me that we had to be under his care, he was extremely professionally, knowledgeable and calm - but more importantly he cared, you could tell he genuinely really cared and he took the time to get to know you. Dr Chan took care of me throughout my pregnancy, it was my first an we had lots of unknowns to deal with but he made everything feel so easy at all times. I felt taken care of, and cared for throughout and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The last month of my pregnancy was a tough one and I had some unexpected turns which left me feeling a little anxious about the birth of our first born, but Dr Chan took me completely under his wing and reassured me at all times that I had nothing to worry about… and he was SO RIGHT. Going into the theatre room full of people for my c-section, I was understandably nervous but then seeing chan’s happy (always smiley!) face walk through the door in scrubs made me instantly relax. Having a familiar face made all the difference, I instant knew I was in safe hands and all would be well. I couldn’t imagine ever going into that situation and not having a friendly face that I know on the other end, it’s safe to say that for the next baby and however many more - I will always be using Dr Chan! I cannot recommend him enough, without a doubt the most important investment we made during our pregnancy period. Thank you Dr Chan to you and your amazing team, for everything from the bottom of my heart, I will always be grateful for the safe, calm delivery of our gorgeous little boy! Abigail x

I had a dermatology appointment for a mole. My consultant told me it needs to be excised for a biopsy, and this would have the double role of treatment; by excising the mole, the “problem” would be fixed. I followed through with the procedure, and upon receiving results from the biopsy two weeks later, my consultant informed me that I would have to come back for a second excision! I was surprised, since my verbal communication with the consultant my understanding was that the initial excision was all that was needed. I felt that I was scammed into going through the same (800£!) procedure twice, when the whole thing could have been done in one go. I refused to return to this consultant.

I have recently completely recovered from a hip replacement operation and found the experience excellent from the original consultation to the successful recovery . My expectations were exceeded in every way from being able to complete my first steps 5 hours after surgery and being discharged from hospital within 24 hours. Had an immigration medical appointment for Australia. I was running late and had to reschedule my AM appointment. Sent an email as the call option was automated message but the email was promptly replied and I was rebooked for the next available PM appointment. It meant I had to wait longer but they were swift to accommodate me and the services from reception to chest X-ray and GP examination was brilliant. I was offered the Polio vaccine and a painless blood tests. Overall I recommend 100%.

I’m a quite nervous patient and I always inform staff of that plus the fact that I’m on blood thinners! The nurse putting in the cannula took ages and it felt sore! However as I don’t look at the needle going in I didn’t realise what was happening until another nurse saw through the window and came rushing in and pulled the rubber tourniquet off my arm! I looked down and saw that blood was gushing down my arm! I said OMG and was shocked and it sent me into stress

Unfortunately I had to wait for 40 minutes to be seen. This was disappointing as I had changed the time of my appointment in response to a request from the Oaks. The staff were very pleasant as was Dr Tang. No problem there. The waiting area was too small and cramped.
