Mr Hassan Elhassan has been incredibly thorough and caring throughout my deviated septum journey – from the initial examination and diagnosis through to preparing me for my first surgery. As it was my first ever surgery, I had a lot of questions, and Mr Elhassan always took the time to answer them without ever making me feel rushed or silly for asking. Mr Trivedi was the consummate professional. He was very clear in the initial appointment, explained the different options, and made an informed recommendation. Once agreed to do a colonoscopy, he went out of his way to arrange for it urgently within 48 hours of the initial appointment. The hospital visit was excellent for the procedure. Mr Trivedi was very good in his communications before , through and after the procedure. And he gave an immediate assessment afterwards that there was nothing out of the ordinary, which gave me great relief. He also proposed diet changes which will ensure the problem will have less chance of recurring. Overall, a great experience with an experienced doctor for whom clearly, patient care and health is foremost !

I first saw Mr Wronka to discuss the best way forward for severe hip pain. He explained my x-ray in great detail, making sure I understood all he had to say. It was obvious after this consultation I needed a hip replacement and I had this a few weeks later. Through the whole treatment from the initial consultation to the 6 week follow up after surgery Mr Wronka kept me informed of exactly what to expect, what I could and couldn’t do and if I had any questions I was only to ask. I would highly recommend Mr Wronka. I found him professional, polite and willing to explain anything in terms that I could understand. If I have any questions going forward I know I will be able to contact him and get good, sound advice.

We recently had Seni as our consultant for my wife’s pregnancy. Whilst we were going down the midwife led route we had to get Seni involved beforehand to discuss any potential issues and also he was needed for the birth of the baby. I can’t recommend him enough, he made us all feel very at ease and calm which is exactly what you want when your wife is giving birth. His instructions were excellent and he went about his business very professionally and my wife and I were very impressed with him. He haa a very dry sense of humour too which went down a treat. Can’t recommend enough.

On arrival everything was explained, my operation was carried out with minimum waiting time, the nurses and anaesthetist were excellent, as was the surgeon, the next thing I recall is being in the recovery room and being wheeled back to my room, very good after care with constant visits from staff. I was able to leave hospital after one night, now six weeks later following expert advice from physio my knee is improving all the time. I would fully recommend the Norwich Spire Hospital.

Overall my first appointment at Spire Lea hospital was a satisfactory experience. At the reception I was quickly registered as an insurance patient. The waiting time was not very long. The duration of the appointment was long enough to cover all my questions, explain my problem and get a gynaecology examination by the doctor with help of a female assistant. The doctor explained to me a treatment to follow to alleviate my symptoms.

Downstairs work being done to the building. Noisy and lots of stuff/materials over the waiting room floor. I found the whole experience poor considering this is a private paying surgery. I understand the work needs to be done, however for a patient it is not ideal by a long shot. Not a relaxing atmosphere or acceptable. This is the second time I have been and the same building work being done.

For private treatment it was very disappointing. The overall building and facilities were shabby and rundown. There was no reception or anyone to direct me as where to go. If your Trust is to offer private treatment, it has to be more professional and provide better quality facilities otherwise it is taking money under false pretences. It is not want private treatment should be.
