Throughout the consultation, Dr Sinha listened attentively to all of my concerns and treated them with genuine care and seriousness, which immediately put me at ease. On the day of the procedure, I was given clear and thorough explanations about what to expect, and Dr Sinha ensured I fully understood everything, taking the time to answer any questions I had. Following the procedure, Dr Sinha continued to check in with me to ensure I was recovering well and to address any follow-up concerns. I felt extremely well cared for at every stage of my journey and am truly grateful for the level of professionalism, compassion, and support I received. My first appointment was arranged within a week. After my appointment I was offered surgery in exactly one more week. Everything was great, lovely facilities, lovely staff. Everyone was very friendly and constantly being offered coffee etc. On every occasion I was taken either on time or early. I was put at ease and everything was fully explained and what the best lenses for me would be, based on my history and interests. On the day of surgery, everything went fine and there was no pain whatsoever, merely a strange feeling as the surgeon did his stuff. Afterwards I was given advice re eye drops and aftercare and again all great. Everything was fine when I got home, merely discomfort and that soon passed. I had plenty of people checking and following up that all was well. Finally, I had a follow up visit after a few weeks and again everything was great and very professional and I was advised to see my optician and GP. Throughout my time, the service I received was first class.

I had an excellent experience at the Lindo Wing. Everyone (midwives, baby doctors, anaesthesiologists) were exceptionally calm, supportive, and reassuring throughout my stay. Every step was clearly explained, and all questions were answered with patience and care. Even with the smallest concern about my baby’s health, a neonatologist was promptly invited to carry out a full assessment, which gave me great peace of mind. I was also supported with my baby’s breast attachment immediately in the delivery room, which was incredibly helpful. The rooms are very well equipped, and during delivery both my and my baby’s heart rates were continuously monitored and carefully assessed. After the birth, we received ongoing guidance on next steps, and both my baby’s and my own health were checked frequently and thoroughly.

This was my second visit to this hospital,and as it was on the 1st visit,I can only add praise on the staff,nurses consultants,seating area with coffee machine,the receptionist was so polite and helpful as well as being friendly and smiling.It was comfortably warm on a cold day,always a nervous person even for an xray.but left the hospital with all the information I needed,and feeling calm and confident on my visit. Must add that Mr Richard Slack is a very approachable person that put me imediately at my ease.and answered all my concerns very confidently,with a very caring side also,I wish I could use those hospital for all my health issues,100%! During consultations, Dr. Ahmad patiently and kindly listened to my symptoms, provided explanations regarding potential causes and created a clear investigation plan. He also dealt patiently with all my questions (they were plenty!). Regarding procedures, so far have I seen him for colonoscopy which was arranged promptly. It went smoothly and Dr. Ahmad found one polyp which could have easily been missed. At the times when one's feeling unwell, and just wants to get better, the patience, reassurance and empathy really make a huge difference. This is precisely why, apart from his great expertise, I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Ahmad.

We visited Children's Allergy Cambridge at the end of January 2026 with our 11-year-old daughter for suspected nut allergy testing. Consultant Gary and allergy specialist Rachael were incredibly friendly and attentive, putting my very worried daughter completely at ease—not like a scary doctor's visit at all. They managed the prick testing smoothly and professionally. It was very quick and efficient, with no waiting, but equally felt no hurry and could stay and chat and ask questions without ever feeling like we were outstaying. Clear follow-up advice. Highly recommend — efficient, friendly, caring, and well worth it.

Mr James was understanding and ready to help me when I came to him after numerous attacks from gallstones....He managed to slot me in as soon as was possible to have the gall bladder removal done by laproscopy and the whole process was smooth. He is a competent surgeon in my opinion and judging by my outcome so far, 2 weeks later, I would not hesitate to recommend him. I am 80 years old and he has transformed my life back to how it was before the onset of my malaise. I can eat normally again and I have no pain. I cannot praise him enough. Thank you Mr. James.

Experienced staff, many with lived experience who are non judgemental, kind and compassionate throughout the stay. Genuinely friendly and supportive and go out of their way to make sure that guests are as comfortable as possible through the detox and throughout the programme. Staff are always approachable and will support or direct you to whoever can. My vegetarian needs were fully met and the food was plentiful with lots of healthy options. Plenty of options for between sessions with yoga, gym and creative activities.

Paid privately for Hip Replacement, initial appointment was disappointing with an hour wait, and a non interested surgeon. A few blips along the way, upon arrival on surgery day, they had me down for a knee replacement not hip, staff on night shift not the friendliest, and thet x rayed the incorrect hip after the surgery. Day shift were great and surgery went well. I will say I expected more for paying privately however the main thing I've had my surgery instead of the ridiculous wait time on the nhs.

From suffering with urinary hesitation and retention I am now able to lead a completely normal life only needing to visit the toilet every 2 to 3 hours. Within 6 weeks of surgery I was urinating freely with no hesitation and the fear of searching out toilet facilities gone completely. The whole surgical experience from initial consultation to post operative appointments has been exemplary.

I had trouble releasing urine, as well as blood being present in the urine. Blood would still come out after urination. A stricture in my urethra was the reason for my discomfort. Mr Varun Sahdev was able to determine that and propose various procedure options. After the operation, all my discomfort gradually disappeared, with a very significant change right after the operation.
