I can’t recommend Shalini highly enough. She is one of the most kind, compassionate, and thoughtful people I’ve ever met, and she truly goes above and beyond for her patients. Having multiple underlying health issues, it was important for me to have someone who was empathetic, understanding, and mindful of my additional needs. She spent time getting to know me and made me feel reassured and supported throughout my pregnancy journey. Towards the end of my pregnancy, I developed further complications with gestational diabetes and pre-eclampsia. During this time, Shalini was constantly checking in on me, always making me feel safe, calm, and reassured, and never once making me feel worried or dismissed. Our beautiful baby girl was brought into the world earlier than initially planned at 36 weeks due to the pre-eclampsia and how the baby was tracking, and I genuinely don’t think I would have got through this frightening period without her constant reassurance and support. Even now, one week postpartum, she is still checking in on me, which shows how much she truly cares. I couldn’t have felt more comfortable or confident with a consultant, and I will forever be thankful for her support.

Doctor Shan Low was our angel doctor. Without exaggeration. Initially, we sought her as a private pregnancy care consultant to help with my wife’s early pregnancy bleeding, she not only calmed us down but explained us what to expect during pregnancy. However during the later stages we had serious complications that raised our pregnancy to very high risk - SGA, single artery umbilical cord and others. Had doctor Shan Low not correctly diagnosed our baby’s bottom 1st percentile weight(!) escalated our case and recommended the safest delivery mode, the safety and health of our baby and my wife would have been significantly compromised. While our baby was delivered in public/NHS facilities, and despite financial incentives, doctor Shan Low never once tried to convince us to switch to private care delivery, her outmost focus was on wellbeing and safety of our baby and my wife. This is a shining example of professional and ethical integrity. Our baby girl came to the world healthily and we are immensely grateful to doctor Shan Low for her support, care and advice. She is not only a great doctor but a warm and genuinely caring person. Thank you doctor Shan Low!

I was really nervous and anxious at the beginning but, from my first appointment with Dr. Metin, I felt in reliable hands. We had an extensive pre-surgery conversation where everything about the procedure was explained in details, all my questions answered in a very professional and friendly way. The procedure went smoothly. The follow-up medical checks were well organised and I felt well supported after the procedure. I’m extremely happy and satisfied with the result, my breast looks much better and more natural compared with the result of my first procedure. Pleasant waiting area with self-service drinks available. Within an hour you are called and escorted into the preparation/recovery room where you are prepared for the operation and the procedure is explained including a visit from the surgeon to check if you have any questions. The operation takes place in the adjacent theatre where again efforts are made to keep you informed as to what’s happening and before you know it you are escorted back to your recovery area for water and a biscuit. Staff were pleasant and attentive at all times. Once thoroughly checked out you return to the waiting area to be collected by your escort who has already been called to say your are ready for collection. I was back home within 2 hours

Greeted by friendly staff and seen at my appointment time. Following a basic health check, the procedure was explained in detail and I was taken to a treatment room for the Gastroscopy to begin. Throat spray was applied, blood pressure and oxygen levels were monitored throughout the procedure, then the camera was inserted via the mouth into the oesopagus and stomach. The process was painless but a little discomfort was felt and took no longer that 10 minutes in total. I was then taken to a recovery room and discussed the treatment findings.

I have been Sophie’s client for the last 6 months. In that time I have felt my relationship with food and my confidence in myself grow. She has helped me change the beliefs I hold about food and helped me on the road to recovery from anorexia. As an autistic person, I have struggled in the past with connecting with health professionals but Sophie adapts the sessions to meet my needs. She always sends notes after our sessions which is useful in making sure I keep track of what I should be doing.

I felt in good hands when having my hip replacement operation and was was very well looked after before and after the operation. My one criticism was that ,having met my consultant the day after the operation, the following up meeting was 7 weeks after the day of the operation. An earlier meeting after , say, 4 or 5 weeks , would have been very beneficial .

I recommend a private appointment. Instead of a rushed NHS 10 minute experience, the doctor spends 30 minutes understanding symptoms and background. Had to visit for two scans. Everyone was lovely and made it as nice as a hospital appointment could possibly be. Parking is extremely scarce, I had to drive due to trains not running. This was communicated with me when appointment was confirmed.
