This was my 2nd visit to Ashford Spencer hospital.. the 1st visit was conducted with real professionalism...the information I recieved and help was really, really good.. I was treated like a real patient with what I consider real life problems dine to my lower back pain.. I was booked in for spinal injections and was happy.. a few months later I had the spinal.injections and was given these in Canterbury by the same team that saw me in ashford.. after a few days I realised that something wasn't rite in the area of these injections.. I immediately contacted the doctors who then contacted the consultant.. he rang me that evening and booked me in for an mri.. waited 4 weeks for the urgent?? Mri.. then waited months for a face to face meeting with my consultant.. only to be told that basically he can't do any thing for me.. and that he was farming me out to another department.. I'm left in all worlds of pain and discomfort, which is considerably more painful than before the injections.. so I feel that my wnd visit to Ashford Spencer hospital was border line unprofessional, uncaring, unsupportive and just feel like they have left me in a place with no support or treatment.. how can you give me these spinal injections and not take accountability for leaving me in a worser condition than when I 1st visited.. i feel numb.. I feel sad.. I feel pain.. i feel the service i recieved, to be extremely poor.. shame on you for treating patients in this Manor.. shame on you for leaving me worse than I was before.. shame.. to sit there and say there is nothing you can do for me is in my book an absolute disgrace.. you should hang your head in shame..

The security and reception staff were absolutely wonderful - welcoming, professional, and efficient. When I went up to the 3rd-floor neurology department, there weren’t very clear directions on where to check in, but I eventually found the desk (ironically, not the easiest task for someone visiting a neurologist!). After checking in, I was seen quite promptly. The neurologist herself came out to collect me - something I didn’t realise until we were already in her office, as she hadn’t introduced herself. I think my presence uneased her and I even commented that I thought she was the porter, as that’s what I had seen with other patients being escorted in. Unfortunately, the appointment itself was disappointing. The neurologist came across as very judgmental and accusatory, suggesting that my symptoms were exaggerated or imagined, despite my clear explanations and the observations of my colleagues, doctors, specialists, and family who have witnessed my neurological decline. When she asked about my profession, she seemed skeptical that I could perform my job without issues, which was uncomfortable and disheartening. I have a follow-up appointment with a neuropsychiatrist, but honestly, I’m not looking forward to it. I can only hope they’ll be more open-minded and empathetic.

Having recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer, I was keen to get a 'second opinion' on both the diagnosis as presented by the findings of my MRI and biopsy, and the summary of options presented by my own NHS Trust in the west country. A (doctor) friend in London recommended I seek the expertise of Mr Gordon as a specialist in Urology. I provided Mr Gordon's secretary with all relevant medical details and scans from the MRI and biopsy and a video consultation was arranged within 48 hrs. Understandably the number of questions in my own mind grew in the days following my diagnosis, so I prepared a long question bank which ranged from general questions on each of the three main options through to more specific enquiries regarding my own personal circumstances including age and health and the potential impact of surgery and radiotherapy etc. Mr Gordon answered in clear yet easy to understand terms. No questions or concerns were left unanswered. The outcome of the consultation provided me with much clearer insight into the three main options and from that my chosen course of action was made much easier.

We recently returned to Dr Jog after 2 1/2 years due to our daughter experiencing constipation again. The first time we saw Dr Jog was during March/April 2020 and we were desperate to seek help for our then 7 year old who was in chronic pain and experiencing constipation. After previous appointments with other drs who had dismissed our daughter’s pain as nothing to worry about, Dr Jog’s approach was a breath of fresh air - she was supportive, took out daughter’s pain seriously, really listened to us and our daughter and swiftly organised tests and was able to successfully help and cure our daughter’s condition. We’ve returned to Dr jog because we trust her and know that everything she does is for the good of her patients and she listens to the children and takes what they are saying seriously so that she can effectively support their medical needs. We are very grateful to Dr Jog and trust her explicitly.

I had an operation at this hospital few day ago on the 6th of November by the amazing consultant Mr Jag Chana! To whom I am forever grateful in how kind, caring and professional he is and the most wonderful job he’s done with my operation! As for his team of anaesthetist, his lovely nurse Kate Zimmerman and all the nurses and other stuff on the ward ( apologies that I don’t know all your names) that looked after me before and after my operation I send my sincere thanks and gratitude! Every single one of you was beyond words professional, kind, caring, friendly and respectful! I am short of words in how to thank you for all the care and kindness you showed me during my stay! The hospital is so very fortunate to have you all as their members of staff! 🌟❤️

Nuffield Health Cheltenham Hospital

I had a number of appointments to see Mr Warr at the Nuffield, and it was always administered well and on time. On the day of the surgery there was initially some confusion on which hospital room I was assigned to but that was cleared up fairly quickly - it was 7am so perhaps a beginning of shift handover issue. The nurses were caring, professional, attentive and very friendly before and after the operation. The anaesthetist visited and was very clear explaining the process, friendly and reassuring. A very good experience. I also appreciated that my parents could be with me before the operation as I'm quite young and not used to being in hospital. Overall a very good experience. Thank you.

As a cameraman that relies on driving for my job , it was crucial that I had my cataracts procedure performed at the earliest opportunity! It wasn’t straightforward because I had previously had laser eye surgery and an infection on one of my eyes that left a scar, so Rohit and his team had a challenging task having to work with that and having to do the refractive procedure ! Not only did he and his team fit me in promptly , the whole experience was stress free and I felt relaxed and comfortable throughout , they did everything they could to help! The end result is incredible and I am so overjoyed and can now return to work and drive! I highly recommend Mr Jolly and his wonderful team’

Had Cataracts removed in July and then September the staff and Dr Jothi was excellent and couldn’t wish for any better care, follow up phone calls on the day after to check if all was ok such a great procedure on both occasions and no pain at all as everything was explained. The eye sight is now great with all the colours all being clear and now I just need reading glasses to see stuff up close ,have worn glasses for the past 60 years and find it funny not having to were glasses permanently. I would thourghly recommend KingsBridge and their staff as all was very kind and looked after your needs on every visit, One thing no pain .

From the first visit for my initial consultation back in July to my EUA a few weeks ago I found Ian to be nothing but professional, calming and reassuring. Given the nature of what I’ve been through this year and my experiences with other dr’s I was so impressed (and relieved) to see someone who listened, showed empathy and appeared to care. To my surprise, I was actually provided more information about my illness than I knew after my hospital stay earlier in the year, and I had 100% confidence and trust in Ian after our first meeting. Mr Din performed high tibial osteotomy surgery on my right leg earlier this year. Following recovery from the surgery and rehabilitation via physiotherapy, the surgery has been a success and eliminated knee pain that I had suffered for many years. Mr Din is very thorough and takes the time to explain all information relating to the problem, causes, treatment, surgery, recovery and expected outcomes in a manner that is clear and understandable. He ensured that I had all the knowledge I needed to make an informed decision on the type of surgery that would provide the best result for my condition.

No problems with the medical teatment. Not sure why I was sent an invoice for medications some days after the treatment. It would have been much easier to pay in the hospital on the day. The invoice doesn't say if you can pay by card by phone or on line. This is a basic service these days. The menu offered for kosher food was limited and most of the items marked as being available weren't. If you're going to offer this service then you need to make sure you have available what you are offering - this is the private wing and one is paying for additional levels of service - not provided here.

Dr. Wong has been fantastic with our baby son. She has been kind and gentle with him, and very reassuring to us as parents, from the first diagnosis through to treatment and the final post-treatment appointment. We never felt pressured into going ahead with treatment sooner than we were ready and she has always offered clear explanations. The treatment our baby son underwent did require a general anaesthetic for the procedure which we were nervous about, but Dr. Wong and her team were amazing. Thank you so much for the work that you do, it has really made a difference to us and our son.
