I was very pleased to find out about this clinic and have it so local to me, I found out through a Raynaud's Facebook group. I was able to self refer. I am an NHS nurse with experience in vascular and tissue viability but felt like I still had some questions as I had gone through an acute episode last weather resulting in requiring interventions. I felt I had some questions that wasn't really getting explained to me from my rheumatologist and also the tests were not available on my nhs appointments/trust, so it helped give me a picture of how severe my Raynaud's was and advice for next steps. I have both Raynaud's and Sjogren's. I found both Louise and Dr Howell very knowledgeable and thorough, they took time to listen and explain. I felt supported throughout the appointment. I left much more informed and reassured. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone dealing with Raynaud's.

This time I had to have my gallbladder removed and hiatus hernia repair at the same time, and I felt completely confident in his care throughout. I came back to see Miss Deans following having an X-ray guided steroid injection as a diagnostic way to see which operation on my right hand to do first . As always she was very kind and very quick to decide with her knowledge to go for the trapeziectomy first to my right thumb .As i have already had the operation to my left thumb which she did in March this year I obviously know what to expect and I have been very pleased with the outcome of this procedure and hope to be the same with my right thumb . I have now seen Miss Deans 5 times including the first operation as well as appointments and I always come away very happy with how things have gone she is always very understanding and listens to you and explains everything so that we understand .

Staff all good, but I had been given inaccurate info before the appt and didn’t wear contact lenses for 2 weeks beforehand altho this was unnecessary as all measurements had already been taken. I then had to wait over an hour to be seen, longer than for the NHS appt. When I mentioned the long wait I was told this was because everyone had wanted a long discussion as they were private appts! Surely this is to be expected and the solution is not to overbook appts. I can’t comment yet on the procedure as haven’t had it yet.

Following the initial diagnosis of arthritis in my right hip joint and after trying a steroid injection to alleviate the pain, I came to the conclusion that only an operation would resolve the issue. Meeting Dinesh was a pleasure in which he acted professionally and courteously at all times. The operation went well and I am now in the process of recovery and regenerating the muscles in my hip joint. I feel confident that I will make a full recovery and resume all of my previous past times.

After I got a PCO in my left eye I needed laser surgery. I had not been told this was common after Lens replacement by the opticians who did did that surgery so I was very worried about my sight. I contacted Cathedral Eye Clinic who assured me it was common and was easily corrected. They made an appointment and in less than an hour my sight was restored. I was dealth with by very friendly and professional staff and would happily recommend Cathedral Eye Clinic to anyone .

I have like a fine mist on the eye which I had treatment on, when I drive at night it is like driving at night in fog, I get more reaction from on coming vehicles which I did not have before. My optometrist contacted you for a referral and was told my eyesight was good enough and would not see me under the NHS but I could go private
