The hospital was very clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. The procedure staff were particularly nice and professional. I was very happy with the procedure and the level of professionalism and also good bedside manner. One/two areas which could be improved if you are interested : 1. Pre-procedure information suggested an overall time from entry to release of approx 2hrs. With a 6pm admission time, I assumed I could arrange a collection for 8.30pm with some time to spare. However, on arrival, after approx 1hr 15mins it became apparent that the admission time of 6pm was a general time for 3 patients to be admitted and seen that evening between 6-9pm. I happened to be patient no.2, so was seen around 7.30 and released around 9, meaning I could not use the lift arranged (my wife &kids were ok til then, but not after). This then presented me with a choice of either taxi home or to ask someone at short notice to come and collect me. Had I known the range of procedure/release times in advance, I would have arranged a different, more appropriate, lift from the start. This leads to point no.2 2. I was not made aware of the choice on whether to have sedative or not. The literature states "you will be given a sedative" not that you have a choice. After the delay above, this then created a difficulty whereby if I took the sedative, I could not legally be released to an unknown taxi driver and would have to arrange another lift at short notice or not take the sedative. I opted to not take the sedative. Had I known this option was there, I could have driven myself to and from the appointment. It also would have saved my wife and kids spending time in the car on a busy evening. In connection with this, during the appointment, it sounded like release/recovery after the sedative was likely to be several hours, so release before 10-11pm was unlikely from the start and it was always probably going to be later if I took the sedative. Please don't take the above as criticism, just highlighting that making the choice on sedative clear would have allowed me to more easily plan both my transport. Also providing a bit more detail on the admission/procedure time range and release time range would have allowed me to more easily arrange appropriate transport. Basically, more information would have made things a bit easier is all

My results are truly life changing in every sense. For the first time in my life, I look in the mirror and genuinely love what my body looks like which I didn’t think was even possible. This has had an amazing impact on my self confidence. Even my scars have already healed impeccably and are placed so well. I have absolutely no regrets and would wholeheartedly encourage anyone considering post weight loss surgery to seek treatment with Mr Fitzgerald O’Connor. He is exceptional!!!!

Upon arriving at Genesis care I was impressed by its warm, friendly and immaculate environment. The little touches like a jigsaw for patients to work on and the endless offers of coffee and biscuits were appreciated. The Staff and radiographers were incredibly professional and so very pleasant. They quickly put my mind at rest. They were really focused on making sure I was ok during the whole treatment journey. While undergoing treatment I got to meet a Penny Brohn counsellor which was very much appreciated as cancer and its treatment can be a very challenging time. Last but not least the addition of a fleet of drivers that took me to every appointment, waited for me, and drove me home was a real comfort. The drivers, like all the staff, were so friendly and chatted to me in a way that relaxed me and helped me feel calmer upon arrival. Cancer is a tough journey but everyone at Genesis Care made it much easier in so many ways. I cannot recommend the entire team, that make it work flawlessly, highly enough.

I feel very fortunate to have had my chemotherapy and radiotherapy at GenesisCare Cambridge. The standard of care is excellent and everyone at the clinic is friendly and welcoming. While spotlessly clean with fantastic facilities the centre doesn't feel overly clinical. I really like the holistic approach to treatment at GenesisCare and particularly benefited from the exercise medicine clinic which took me from gym phobic to regular gym goer with huge benefits for my physical and emotional wellbeing. GenesisCare go above and beyond to make treatment less arduous, from providing really comprehensive support to prevent or mitigate unpleasant side effects to offering a complimentary taxi service to and from radiotherapy sessions. Another plus of GenesisCare is that the consultations are never rushed - there is always time for questions and I particularly appreciated my consultant taking time to talk me through the treatment options and providing really clear answers to all my questions.

I was referred to see Miss Adib by my Breast Consultant following oestrogen positive breast cancer and experiencing prolonged and difficult menopause symptoms for 13 years. I was very apprehensive, but at the same time, desperate to feel better than I was and more like my old self. Tania has been supportive and empathetic every time I've seen her and always explained my treatment choices, making it a shared decision. Her therapeutic approach is cautious, and incredibly supportive, allowing plenty of time for me to ask questions. I've seen Tania every 3 months for the last 15 months so that she can keep a close eye on my hormone blood levels, which has made the process smoother for me, as I've never been that far away from an appointment. The results of the last year have been life changing for me. The myriad of chemically induced menopause symptoms have mostly disappeared, which means life is so much easier.

Cannot speak highly enough of Mr Buddhdev. Made us feel very comfortable was fantastic with our daughter and gave very clear, honest and helpful advice and explanations as to what his thoughts were regarding helping Iris both in the present and future. We were made to feel part of the process, as all of the explanations regarding the more technical aspects of Iris’ hips and other areas of potential concern were portrayed in a manner a layman could understand. At no point did we feel we were being talked down to which is both rare and very welcome! Overall an accurate assessment with good advice which was easy to understand provided by a very personable professional doctor… Would recommend all of our friends within the CP community in a heartbeat.

I had severe pain from Osteoarthritis which the NHS were throwing as much delay at as possible. I had a busy year planned with commitments abroad and it was impossible to to arrange a treatment plan. I consulted Ravi via a Spire hospital. He was able to format a plan, including pain relieving injections so that the replacement operation fitted in with the end of my travel arrangements. He explained everything clearly throughout the process ad then, with fantastic skill, carried out the operation. I only needed one night in the hospital and 17 days after was signed off by the physio as not requiring further attention. I walk with no limp at all and can climb stairs normally. Overall a great team led by a superb caring surgeon.

The toilets were yet again filthy. For the second time I complained. I appreciate that nothing will change, but I discussed not only with the nurse, but also with front desk that the hygiene level was very low indeed. In a private facility this is a disgrace. Further, I found that any details given on a prior visit had not updated onto the current registration form. While I came in after 6.30 pm, i have seen the awful queues for registration at earlier times. Your reception person was on his own and was also on his own on the prior visit, and the paperwork took far too long. You need more than one person on the front desk. Overall, the clinic is poor.

Dr Sridhar is an amazing, exceptional doctor. He’s very kind and caring to my son. He takes his time to explain things to us, especially to my wife who struggled with English. We don’t feel rushed in appointments and have always put us at ease, especially with all the medication my son has had to take and the surgeries he’s had as a child. His expertise and kindness has made all the difficult times easy for us. During Covid he always made time for us by telephone, when everything was on lock down, which was amazing as our son was immune suppressed and we were worried for him. Dr Sridhar is an outstanding doctor and We are truly grateful, he’s our doctor.

I first met Miss Taylor in December 24 as I was suffering with excruciating gynaecological symptoms. Miss Taylor almost instantly gave me the answers I was hoping for after 4 years of pain and NHS dismal. I had always felt so comfortable with Miss Taylor and felt reassured within her care. Yesterday I had my laparoscopy for Endometriosis and Miss Taylor accommodated me so much as I was extremely nervous and had been putting the surgery off due to nerves. I had received what was probably the best care I’ve ever experienced and I successfully had my endometriosis and adenoymosis answers. I really can’t recommend Miss Taylor enough. Thank you for everything!

My experience at the hospital was excellent from start to finish. The room was extremely comfortable and well appointed, which certainly helped with rest and recovery, but what truly made the experience exceptional was the nursing team. The nurses were absolutely superb in every way — kind, attentive, professional, and endlessly patient. Nothing was ever too much trouble, no matter the time of day or how small the request. I was made to feel safe, cared for, and genuinely supported throughout my stay. I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding care I received and would not hesitate to recommend this hospital to others.

I had an excellent experience. The location was easy to find and parking was available on site. The staff were really friendly on arrival and there was nice quiet areas to sit and wait. DR Pradhan was great in explaining all the procedure and understanding my circumstances. She took lots of time to answer any questions and give me all the information I needed. I would recommend MUMS to anyone needed any of the services they offer.

I have struggled with alcoholism for 30 years and haven't got a huge amount from other rehabs but this place, TLC Finchley, has been phenomenally helpful. The staff are excellent at their job, and the culture of the place is kind, caring and respectful. After three weeks I have learned a great deal and I feel well again with sensible awareness of the journey ahead.
