I've seen the Joint Injection doctor twice, had two injections, and both were very helpful. The first visit was after I suffered some tissue injury to an arthritic knee and had some fluid removed and a cortisone injection, which gave me immediate relief and was the catalyst to me returning to exercise. I was having ongoing stiffness in the same joint and returned six months later. After consultation I chose to have a hyaluronic acid injection. This made a big difference to the pain, stiffness and function of my knee and has meant I am able now to properly rebuild strength on that side. Dr Thing is easy to talk to, and I felt he really supported what I am trying to do, which is to stay highly active and delay the point I will need surgery for as long as possible. He is very well informed and explained clearly the pros and cons of various approaches to managing arthritis of the knee. He is also skilled at what he does, the injections are ultrasound guided to ensure correct placement and both injections were painless.

I am a very active 51 year old man and Mr Atkinson fixed my medial meniscus tear which had been obstructing movement in my leg. After 8 weeks I am back swimming, practicing Yoga 5 times a week (all poses including deep squats and child pose) and I also started kick boxing again. I will be training jiu jitsu again in a week's time. I also climbed the stairs at Highgate tube station this week - all 100 of them - without any pain or locking. I had a very good experience with Mr Atkinson. From initial to final consultation I was very happy with the care given to me. In fact my girlfriend who is also a doctor was very impressed by Mr Atkinson's knowledge on a variety of questions she asked. He was very accommodating of her as well allowing her to talk to him on the phone and with me in my final consultation. I want to thank Mr Atkinson for putting me forward for this care, without this I would be struggling with my physical activities and now I have a new lease of life. Thank you so much.

Dr. Fiona Moore who looked after us was truly exceptional — so kind, patient, and deeply respectful with my child. She gave Madison all the time she needed to feel safe and ready, explained everything gently and clearly, and never applied any pressure. Her friendly, calm manner made an experience that could have been very stressful into something positive and manageable. The staff at the clinic were also wonderful — welcoming, understanding, and very supportive throughout our visit. Everyone treated us with kindness and professionalism, which made such a difference to our day. It’s rare to meet a doctor and team who combines such professional skill with genuine warmth and understanding, and we felt completely supported from beginning to end. It was a pleasure to meet with Matt Wright again following our consultations and procedures in 2019 and before, when he cured my atrial fibrillation. Thanks to his specialist care, I have been able to successfully carry on running my antique business from my gallery in Pimlico.. Accordingly, it was very reassuring to discover that he had recognised my name after my recent visit to A and E at St Thomases and had been advising on further tests and treatment following the analysis of my seven day monitor. Having explained to him that I had stopped taking the prescribed Bisoprolol 2.5 mg after three days, as it very quickly took my blood pressure down to 50, he recommended that I re-start on 1.25 mg. This reduction appears to have so far done the trick, as my pulse has dropped to mid 60s which is bearable. In conclusion I am so relieved to once again know that Matt is keeping an eye on me and that his ear is available should I need reassurance.

NO ONE AROUND TO TAKE ME TO ENTRANCE WHEN CHECKING OUT. FEMALE PHYSIO AFTER SECOND OP WAS A BIT OFF HAND AND NOT AS HELPFUL AS THE MAN ON THE FIRST KNEE OP. ON FIRST OP HAD TO BE IN AT 7-8 a m. BUT DID NOT HAVE THE OPERATION TILL 3.30 p.m. IN AFTERNOON NO REASON. ONE OR TWO RECEPTIONISTS KEPT ASKING IF MY TREATMENT WAS FREE WHICH I DID NOT LIKE AS THE NHS WAS PAYING. SAME QUESTION NOT ASKED OF INSURANCE PAYERS, WHEN INSURANCE CO. PAYING. NURSE WHO TOOK PINS OUT ON SECOND KNEE OP MADE THE EXPERIENCE VERY PAINFUL AND DID NOT HAVE AN EXCUSE IT WAS AS IF IT WAS MY FAULT FOR FEELING SUCH PAIN. IT WAS NOT THE SAME WITH FIRST OP AT ALL. I WAS TOLD IT WAS THE GLUE KEEPING THEM IN SO HARD TO TAKE OUT, THEN ANOTHER NURSE SAYS IT WAS NOT. VERY CONTRADICTORY. MISS ANDREA A.

I loved the day staff. Ikram and Sennecca treated me with such kindness and so much support. I unfortunately was discharged after a week as I have other issues that need addressing before I am able to continue the treatment. The night staff in my experience have not been very attentive to my distress. As nights are the hardest time for me this was quite a big issue for me. Dr Veale is great and really knows what he is talking about. The rooms feel like a hotel and the program is scary but excellent here. Food is another issue for me and the kitchen are very accommodating to needs but the general menu is very eclectic. Overall I would say this is a very good hospital and I've seen patients with real change here.

Made contact with the Spire and was offered an appointment within days with Dr Hodge. He was kind, thorough, knowledgeable and reassuring. He took a detailed history of our 8 month old, carried out skin prick tests for various allergens, provided advice on the milk and soya ladders, assessed our baby’s eczema and referred us to his dietician contact. We had our baby’s peanut allergy confirmed and were provided with an action plan for this. Would highly recommend to anyone on the weaning journey, whose baby has had an allergic reaction, which has caused them worry about introducing other allergens. Thank you, Dr Hodge.

Initial assessments were thorough and the clinicians were kind and understanding. Prescription costs seem affordable and my first prescribed medications were a slight improvement to before. My second prescription was not approved/provided on time and rationing medications/running out for a few days has caused some stress I had bad withdrawal/negative wellbeing from being requested to stop a previous medication, I feel this was somewhat unavoidable but I was not informed of what to expect stopping that med and left to work out the cause of the feelings on my own
