It was more chaotic than I am used to with private medicine. I arrived at 3.00 and had to wait for quite a long time ... 20 or 30 minutes ... until I had my first test. Very irritating and unsettling to see patients who had arrived after me get called first. Then there was the business of moving from one waiting room to another ... then another floor ... then wait because a patient was taking longer than expected/planned for - with a test (the patient was virtually blind, so took longer - BUT WHY WASN'T THAT ANTICIPATED). All the staff were apologetic and working hard, but the system was terrible. Lots of different machines, in different rooms ... with the databases not communicating with each other. Not good at all. Other private medicine I've experienced is much slicker. They have invested more in sorting out the tech and the UX.

The day of the surgery October 2025 was great. Mr Ridha and nurse Annette are amazing. I have had a few strange experiences at this hospital though including the surgery I had last year. Getting my stitches out this time by another few nurses after the rhinoplasty, I left my appointment feeling so on edge and wasn’t offered aftercare answers to my questions, no mirror to see my new nose. I had to request tape to put on at night as I wasn’t offered it at the time. They were asking me questions that I feel like they should’ve known and making comments to each other whilst I was there about my stitches. I just felt like they had no idea. I understand it was difficult for them and I don’t like to make complaints, but people go for private healthcare for a reason and I’ve experienced enough negative things to feel disappointed.

He was reassuring as he explained the medical condition of my eyes and stating it all without using jargon. My first appointment my eye condition was explained very well, I received a lot of information to read. I must of admit was concerned I had to wait for 4 months to be seen but I understand now it was needed as my left eye hole in the macular repaired it’s self so I did not required surgery on it . My right eye is now repaired and from the time I came in for surgery the doctors, anesthésiste., nurses and every who helped made me feel very at ease .The follow up appointments I was very happy with how every thing was explained too. Extremely impressed with the speed of getting an appointment and the politeness and efficiency of the office manger and team in all communications. Dr O’Neill was extremely pleasant, and helpful. She asked appropriate questions and also listened attentively, giving me reassurance. She explained comprehensively her thoughts and considerations whilst outlining clearly and concisely next steps. I received the outline of the notes and a letter for a referral within less than a week. Without doubt one of the best consultations I have had.

I attended the clinic in order to have a steroid injection in my hip. The doctor carrying out the procedure was professional, friendly, reassuring and informative. The only slight negative was that when being referred for the procedure I was given no information regarding what to expect both during and after the procedure. Fortunately I had had a similar procedure on the NHS so was aware that the advice was not to drive so had prepared accordingly, as the doctor did ask after the procedure who was driving me home.

This was my three month follow up appointment following an Aquablation procedure. The flow test showed great improvement when compared with pre op test. The only issue is a problem with frequency and urgency which impacts me for a small part of the day. Mr Barber was encouraging and I believe over time this will resolve itself. Otherwise everything is much improved with nights no longer a problem!
