Mr Tailor's care throughout my consultations, surgery and follow-up was outstanding. From our first conversation, he gave me a clear detailed understanding of my health issue and treatment. He outlined options and what would determine what type of surgery was needed. He treated my case with the urgency I wanted and organised for me to have a scan on the day of my first consultation and an operation date within a few weeks. His communication throughout the treatment was excellent - using phone, WhatsApp and email to ensure I had all the information I needed and received biopsy and blood test results as quickly as possible. I had a Laparoscopy procedure and while Mr Tailor had to manage some unexpected observations during the surgery, my recovery has been smooth and scarring minimal. I highly recommend Mr Tailor for any gynecology treatment or procedure.

From the initial face to face consultation through the conversation immediately prior to the operation then a reassuring word in recovery and finally a telephone consultation with the (positive) results of the pathology and oncology at 6 weeks post surgery I cannot fault Mr Abou-Chedid's care. His skill cannot be questioned and the excellent post-operative recovery is testament to this. I am sure that his technique of radial prostatectomy coupled with supra-pubic catheter greatly contributed to my recovery. It goes without saying that, given a choice, I would not have opted to have prostate cancer in the first place but for anyone in the unfortunate position of having a diagnosis of cancer I would not hesitate in recommending Mr Abou-Chedid.

I found Dr Hadavi to be very patient and an excellent listener. I didn't feel that he rushed me at all and he took the time to listen to my long and somewhat complicated medical history and symptoms. He asked lots of questions and I felt he was very comprehensive in his consultation and thorough in his examination. I suffer with anxiety and find medical environments very triggering due to previous negative experiences with medical professionals, but Dr Hadavi made me feel respected and at ease and I felt reassured at the end of the appointment. He was also very quick to respond to my queries over email. He has referred me for tests and I feel confident that he will be able to help me get the answers and treatment I need.

I was taken into a room that was obviously not cleaned after the last patient as their clothes were still there. My postop instructions were to stay warm. I was absolutely freezing after surgery because the nurses turned the heat down to suit another patient. I was on the end bed and no one came to check on me for ages so I couldn’t get another blanket. I told the nurses at least three times that I don’t eat dairy. I then had cow’s milk and dairy butter placed in front of me which is offensive. The nurses paid a lot of attention to the person next to me, but rarely checked on me. I felt overlooked. By this point, I just wanted to go home but again they prioritised other patients so I was late to leave.

Steve is excellent. Personable and very professional and clearly knows his stuff. He operated on our son following a shoulder dislocation playing rugby. Throughout the process, Steve was clear with the surgical options and very thorough in his explanations, particularly understanding with the emotions of a teenager and his desperation to be back on the pitch again. He has a friendly manner and was always quick to answer extra questions we had between consultations. He did an excellent surgical job on our son and we’d have no hesitation in recommending him. From start to finish Daye is intuitive and easy to use. I’ve done many online health tests prior to this but nothing compares to the level of service Daye provides. For clarity I did the full screen and purchased the 30 min nurse call. The sample is beyond easy to take and post. The results came back fast and were clear to understand, on top I was sent a beautiful kind email and was also offered a free call to over my HPV results. I didn’t use this but my 30 min call with the nurse was invaluable. I would have been happy to pay triple the price for the service I received. I will be 100% using Daye again and have already recommended to friends.

Dr Hari and the team are truly amazing and we couldn’t imagine our journey without them at every step of the way. Their level of service is unparalleled, cancer throws you curve balls constantly and at random times and we’ve been desperate for expert advice and I always get a reply promptly and even out of hours. We wanted to add in re purposed meds to our chemo regime with someone guiding us for safety and not following random internet protocols. My son needed to have two teeth extracted prior to being fitted with braces the following month. The dentist was extremely caring - especially as the procedure proved to be quite difficult due to the large roots of the teeth being pulled. It took an hour for the first tooth to finally come out - and the dentist recommended that a second appointment be made to minimise the amount of trauma caused extracting both teeth in one go. The appointment was made while the procedure was still ongoing - which was very efficient and was a relief for my son.

I attended Thornbury Hospital for a routine colonoscopy. My admission was timely informed and completed by the extremely friendly nursing staff. My procedure was performed by Prof Steven Brown, a very calm, friendly and thoroughly lovely man. I opted for sedation yet I was still aware of my surroundings and could watch the monitor screen and follow the procedure throughout which I always find quite fascinating. The procedure took around 35 minutes and after a relatively short period of recovery I was allowed home.

I cannot thank Dr Gunendran he’s was professional and very supportive I cannot thank him enough for sorting out my problem. Mr Jones was kind, genial, professional and as gentle as he could be with the procedure. He chatted to me during the procedure , telling me about the scan that was showing the fluid on/ around my knee and was happy to answer my question about what the fluid was that he was removing etc. He told me that I’d get a call from him in a few months time to check how I’m getting on rather than a face to face follow up. What an excellent man !

All the staff at the Spire Hospital were helpful & nothing was too much trouble so that I felt listened to in terms of my needs & any fears I had. I felt reassured that I was in excellent hands when it came to pain relief particularly immediately post op & was encouraged to get out of bed as soon as I was able. The food was enjoyable & there was a good variety which certainly helped my recovery & my room was light & very clean.
