I had a really great experience at this private GP appointment and couldn’t fault it. From the moment I arrived, the staff were absolutely lovely, welcoming, and professional, which instantly put me at ease. The whole appointment felt calm and well organised, with no rushing at all. Dr Owen Weeks was fantastic — very kind, reassuring, and took the time to listen properly. He explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made me feel genuinely comfortable and cared for. It was such a refreshing experience compared to feeling rushed elsewhere. Overall, it was a great doctor’s appointment and well worth going private. I left feeling reassured and confident, and I would highly recommend this service to anyone considering it. First Class service from Mr Evans ; gave great feeling of confidence and thoroughness. Sadly on my informing Mr Evans of bi-ventricular pacemaker ;? Brought everything to a close; as the hospital will not now countenance surgery when pacemaker installed:- Greatly saddened by this - as not only will be a different surgeon; but great inconvenience as will Now have to travel over 60 miles to southern Manchester. Although once informed of medical reason; due to bi-ventricular pacemaker and such capability if some difficulty occurred - much greater requirement for increased equipment to monitor pacemaker and in the unlikely event of any difficulty ; far far higher capability of medical Intervention. Sadly now to go to Alexandra hospital at Cheadle.,and of course a different surgeon; sadly. david t ;

Communication with Kernow Psychiatry beforehand was very responsive and I booked an initial appointment to discuss my mental health difficulties. Dr Reid welcomed me into a comfortable room at the wellness hub, she immediately put me at ease made sure I was settled and ready to begin. After one hour, Dr Reid summarised what she saw as the key priorities to getting me back on an even keel, suggesting a clear approach to addressing my intersecting issues. I felt I was in good hands and I'm now looking forward to my follow up appointment to start my treatment plan towards recovery. I only wish I’d followed my instincts sooner and booked in months ago.

Dr Martin was wonderful with my Mother who had been diagnosed with Heart Failure and at that time her symptoms were not controlled and a 999 call was required for hospital intervention. Under the NHS we had been told (despite the seriousness of the test results) that there would be a 12 month wait so we opted to seek out private care and Dr Martin was available for an appointment very quickly. Dr Martin was very thorough and took the time to fully explain his findings & recommend further tests to understand further. He was patient and kind to my Mother who has been very unwell and struggling to process all this new information.

The imaging team — particularly R. Wilson and L. Kuriakose — were outstanding. Their efficiency, professionalism, and the way they worked with me throughout the treatment were superb. In contrast, communication from the reception team was limited. There was little information provided regarding waiting times or updates, and my next of kin were not kept informed about what was happening or how long the process might take. This created unnecessary uncertainty during an already stressful time. Parking was also extremely challenging, to the point where travelling by train would likely have been easier.

My visit concerned a dislocated right shoulder. Mr. Colegate-Stone examined me and carried out a number of strength tests. He then explained the reason for the problem, referring to a model of a shoulder and an xray taken previously. He mentioned a number of possible treatments and suggested that a CT scan is necessary to clarify the situation. We would then decide on the appropriate action. During the appointment Me. Colegate-Stone was very clear and gave me great confidence in his judgement. I look forward to our next appointment on 30 Jan.

The hospital was clean and the private room I had was large, clean and full of the usual amenities that were all operational. My only slight negative would be the car parking which was a challenge at certain times
