I was referred to Emily by Mr. Minas, my gynaecologist, as I wanted to see whether nutrition could help with my endometriosis and adenomyosis. I have been in pain since my surgery, and I hoped that starting an anti-inflammatory diet might make a difference. From my very first appointment, Emily left a wonderful impression. She is warm, easy to talk to, and made me feel completely comfortable. She listened carefully to all my concerns and provided personalised advice that genuinely felt like magic for me. She recommended a low FODMAP diet and gave me a clear list of foods to enjoy more of and foods to limit. With her guidance, I was able to combine both anti-inflammatory and low FODMAP principles in a way that worked for my lifestyle. She also introduced me to Field Doctor meals, which were incredibly helpful since I don’t always have time to cook. Even though I’ve only seen her three times, the reassurance and knowledge she has given me are invaluable. She answered all my questions, shared helpful recipes, and taught me practical ways to make my meals low FODMAP without feeling restricted. I also appreciate that she encourages balance—letting me enjoy the foods I love occasionally while focusing on better choices overall. It’s only been a couple of weeks since changing my diet, and my pain and bloating has already improved. Emily’s support, expertise, and kindness have truly put me on the right path. I also want to mention Aaron, the Camu Clinic secretary, who has been extremely helpful in managing my appointments and making sure I receive the links for my virtual sessions with Emily. His assistance has made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I’m very grateful for the excellent care and support I’ve received from both Emily and the team.

Mr Hawary is be far the best medical consultant I have ever experienced, his empathy and compassion for his patients is simply exemplary. I was in a terrible state when I went to see Mr Hawary who then reassured me, did not make me feel like I was over reacting he instead empathised with me and I felt so much better. I have never seen a more compassionate and passionate consultant in my life. If consultants could follow his lead I am very sure this could revolutionise the medical world. This may seem over the top, it’s not. He is a wonderful consultant who really genuinely cares about his patients he cares about the pain I experience and asked very detailed questions to ensure I walked away feeling better, and able to cope he did not at any point marginalise how I felt, he is an impactful knowledgeable caring consultant and I hope I never see him again in the nicest possible way, but I will not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who faces the same issue I did. He has had a a very big impact on me and I am sincerely grateful for the caring and compassionate treatment I have received from Mr Hawary. I would not even hesitate to go to him again should I need anything. He is amazing at his job and I hope he gets the sincere recognition he deserves. If I could give him a knighthood I would. Outstanding patient care, outstanding sense of humour, which always helps in these hard times, and a real genuine compassion for his patients I could not has asked for anything more. I had a fantastic experience from time of admission to the day surgery unit at Cov Walsgrave hospital in Coventry .I was made to feel comfortable in my surroundings by two of the sweetest nurses upon admission to the unit for a procedure on my right shoulder they put my mind at ease explaining all that I was about to have done the operating staff were brilliant as well everyone conducting the procedure kept me informed about every step of my procedure I could not fault them in any way at all .I confess that due to a horrific experience once before at the same unit for prostate cancer I was a very very worried man thinking I was going to be kept in this unit overnight and upon enquiring if this was to be the same as in staying overnight I was mightily relieved and when I explained about my last experience I have to say that the two nurses doing my pre op chat etc I explained my concerns and the reason why I was so apprehensive about my op they went over and above their job to enable me to finally be at peace with myself ref this new procedure. I cannot Thank them enough for all that they did for me nor can I Thank the surgeon and the two nurses in operating suite enough for all they did for me so again THANKYOU to all of you in day surgery unit yesterday 19/11/2025at 14:30 hrs.

I initially booked in to see Dr Lafina as I wanted to be more proactive with my health and wellbeing. She provides a fantastic service, where she brings great professionalism, expertise, attention to detail to the individual in front of her, and genuine care. Everything you'd want from someone overlooking your general health. With regards to my own health screening, the whole process was extensive but very smooth and I was quickly provided actionable outcomes. The overall clinic experience was great, the clinic staff were very welcoming and helpful and the clinic space was of high standard. As someone into their health and fitness, and as a practitioner in a different field of the health and wellness industry, I would highly recommend Deia Health and Dr Lafina.

I recently had surgery at Spire Leicester Hospital. The medical staff were amazing, friendly, informative and they really helped put me at ease throughout my stay. However, the administrative side needs be improved, as it took several weeks of chasing before I finally received my booking confirmation. Additionally, after my large open inguinal hernia operation, I was discharged without being offered a wheelchair and had to walk down from the second floor to leave the hospital, which was difficult so soon after surgery. Overall, excellent clinical care, but room for improvement in administration and patient support on discharge.

I was seen urgently by Mr Bish Pal at Moorfields Private Outpatient Centre, for symptoms of vitreous detachment. Not being familiar with the area, I had been sent directions by Carrie, the Practice Manager, who met me in the office and made me feel welcome and relaxed. My consultation and examination with Mr Pal was conducted very professionally. His attitude was reassuring and he addressed all my concerns empathetically. He explained the clinical conditions affecting my eyes and provided me with clear instructions about further treatment and follow up.

Staff all good, but I had been given inaccurate info before the appt and didn’t wear contact lenses for 2 weeks beforehand altho this was unnecessary as all measurements had already been taken. I then had to wait over an hour to be seen, longer than for the NHS appt. When I mentioned the long wait I was told this was because everyone had wanted a long discussion as they were private appts! Surely this is to be expected and the solution is not to overbook appts. I can’t comment yet on the procedure as haven’t had it yet.

From the outset, Dr Finlay was welcoming, friendly and empathetic and this allowed for frank and clear discussions about my situation. I had arrived with understandable anxieties but, by clearly explaining the issues , he was able to put the tests and assessments ahead in a more realistic and reassuring light. I was impressed by the care he took to explain the nature of the problem I was experiencing and also about the tests and treatments he was proposing.

My hip operation was successful and carried out by Mr Edward Gardner. His professionalism in he listening and explaining about the operation. After the operation Mr Gardner used a vacuum pump on my scar to heal / seal and keep the wound clean; this has worked really well. My scar has closed cleanly. I now feel more confident in my mobility and I have no worries in returning to have the other hip replaced in the future by Mr Gardner.

He listened patiently during both appointments, ordered a thorough suite of tests and clearly explained my results & next steps. He also sent my results to my rheumatologist to ensure continuity of care. Fantastic care at every stage, he really is the best and I would happily recommend him to anyone.

I was promised two Salamol CFC blue inhalers u only got one I came back after 30 days but it hadn’t been registered I was told it was to early to get another one I said “ I’d be made to pay when I came back ?” & I’ve been back I only got one Salbutamol I’m not paying for another consultation I need another inhaler please look into it Ms Sue-Ann S

I’ve not had surgery in a hospital before but found Dip very reassuring. I experienced little pain afterwards and indeed, two weeks after surgery for my hernia, most of the painkillers that I was given remain unused. I have now been signed off two weeks and one day after surgery with no real restrictions on my activity. Very pleased.
