I went to see Mr Shukla about an issue with my finger. He was really great and we have a date to get the issue sorted. However, he went over and beyond for me - I mentioned my shoulder issue and whilst I went for an x-ray on my finger he (just because he was interested) pulled out my previous shoulder x-ray and offered me a solution that no one else has mentioned in the several years I have been having problems. I am still blown away by him and so grateful that I now have an option to sort my other issue! Thank you Mr S, you are my Christmas hero!

I had an appointment for a blood test. Unfortunately, despite 2 attempts the nurse was unable to extract any bloods. The nurse decided to find a colleague - I was delighted to see a face I recognised, who had conducted this procedure successfully earlier in the year. She was able to take the bloods from my arm skilfully first time, without causing any discomfort. Her calmness, warmth and humour quickly helped me to forget my previous experience. I had my endoscopy at Clare Park. Before the procedure Mr Veramootoo came in to see me and gave a clear explanation of what would happen. He knew I was apprehensive and nervous so I was more at ease and reassured after talking to him. The procedure went well and I felt looked after during and after. I would highly recommend Mr Veramootoo for is professionalism but also for his caring and attentive manner that made me feel understood and listened to.

I had a knee replacement and had a reaction to the anaesthetic which resulted in me having to spend several days in bed vomiting copiously. The staff were so supportive and caring; the nurses couldn’t help enough, the porters, physios, catering staff and cleaning crew were good natured , helpful and thorough. Since arriving home I have had numerous phone conversations with Horder staff, who have been reassuring and helpful with my recovery.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying in The Westminster Maternity Suite twice, after delivering my babies. The care, cleanliness, privacy, personal space and food are fantastic. I had really enjoyed staying there for the recovery after giving birth. The views of Big Ben both times were an amazing bonus for the night feeds of my newborn.

It’s a stressful experience having surgery so all the fact that everyone is so pleasant, professional, kind and thoughtful, makes all the difference. The facility is extremely welcoming, spotlessly clean and the fish tanks are a nice touch. Unfortunately the only criticism is the lack of parking.
