After suffering head trauma, I experienced severe dizziness and nausea that completely disrupted my daily life. He conducted a thorough assessment and quickly identified the root cause of my symptoms: a balance disorder caused by displaced crystals in the inner ear. His explanation was clear, detailed, and easy to understand, which immediately put me at ease. Dr Al-Khateeb’s treatment was precise and expertly delivered. What truly impressed me was his confidence and skill—he knew exactly what needed to be done and carried it out with care and precision. Thanks to his treatment, my symptoms improved rapidly, and I went on to make a full recovery. I came to KT with an ongoing pain in my glute from running. I had been to another physio for months with no improvement and was feeling quite helpless. She immediately diagnosed it as Deep Glute Syndrome and reassured me that we could treat it. She put me at ease straight away and I could tell that I was in safe hands, and with someone who was incredibly skilled and loved what they do. Her knowledge and experience is so impressive. I also had some lower back issues which she helped me with massively (I’ve had these for years). She helped make a plan for recovery that suited my lifestyle and other exercise to make sure I could continue exercising. She often provided manual therapy which was brilliant too. She was always checking in with me and working to make eveything tailored for me. She was always available by email. She is incredibly kind and always made me feel comfortable and heard which I hadn’t had this before from other physio treatment. She also considered that I was funding the treatment myself and discussed this with me. I genuinely can’t praise KT enough, and would recommend her to anyone with sports injuries. I don’t have the words to thank her for her help and support.

In September 2025 Dr Mohsin Hussain carried out an emergency angioplasty on me and applied stents to my right carotid artery He explained clearly what was happening at each stage of the procedure which re-assured me In October 2035 I had a meeting with Dr Hussain to review the progress of my recovery and plan next steps. He showed me images the original blockage and another area in the LMCA We agreed to a further procedure with a pressure wire in November. Dr Hussein discussed details with me before the operation and during the procedure gave me the numbers so that I could decide whether a stent should be applied After the operation Dr Hussein discussed the procedure that had been carried out. He is a skilled doctor with an excellent bedside manner. He is very clear in his explanations to his patients which gives his patients confidence that the procedures being carried out are the right ones for them He also contacts patients after their discharge to ensure that they are progressing well He is very professional and approachable

A bad first impression: I arrived as requested at 7:30 to find no staff in Reception and the whole area in darkness! After about 10 , mins a nurse arrived to take us through to the ward. I had been told by the nurse on the phone doing the pre-op check that I was first on the list. However on the day I was told I was 6th, but suspect there were more than 5 people in front of me, as I was not taken downstairs for the procedure until 1about 11:30.. The problem for me was that I was very nervous and the unexpected delay made me very anxious. During my time in Room 19 the male nurse (?) looking after me did an excellent job, trying to reassure me as well as doing all the necessary preparation. Once I got to the operating theatre everyone was pleasant, efficient and friendly, The sedation was effective and the experience much less unpleasant that the retinal tear repair I had had at Moorfields about 10 years ago. I am now in a much better state to face the procedure on the 2nd eve in a few days time.

Mr Arambage was kind, paitent and empathetic. It was a lovey surprise to speak to a Dr who had already gone through my history and could confidently refer to it, rather than double checking or asking for information already discussed, as this has been a rare experience for me. He was clearly knowledgeable on the subject and could refer to previous experience that was relevant to my scenario and used that to make appropriate recommendations. I liked that his knowledge of my history meant we could skip to important information and have more time to discuss this in detail rather than spend 15min going through my last 2 decades of investigation. Mostly I am relieved to hear a medical professional saying these symptoms are real, with a root cause that can be treated, I am not delusional and to have a clear plan of action moving forward. It is a great weight off my shoulders and I am incredibly grateful for that and for Kirana’s time and efforts.

The team at Newmedica from the receptionists to the optometrists, nurses and Mr Anjari my consultant were so welcoming and made me feel at ease from the moment I arrived. I was quite anxious about having cataract surgery, but the team made me feel relaxed each time I visited. Mr Anjari was very reassuring and spent time helping me decide which lenses were right for me. The surgery was quick, and painless - so efficient., I had no need to worry about going back for the second one. The aftercare was excellent too with a phone check up and another thorough appointment. Mr Anjari helped me choose Galaxy lenses … I can’t believe how clearly I can see near and far ! It is nothing short of miraculous after living in a blur for years! I am now able to read the smallest print yet look across a field and identify birds in the trees. I’ll be forever thankful to Mr Anjari and his team for the transformation of my sight.

I had severe pain from Osteoarthritis which the NHS were throwing as much delay at as possible. I had a busy year planned with commitments abroad and it was impossible to to arrange a treatment plan. I consulted Ravi via a Spire hospital. He was able to format a plan, including pain relieving injections so that the replacement operation fitted in with the end of my travel arrangements. He explained everything clearly throughout the process ad then, with fantastic skill, carried out the operation. I only needed one night in the hospital and 17 days after was signed off by the physio as not requiring further attention. I walk with no limp at all and can climb stairs normally. Overall a great team led by a superb caring surgeon.

He was really thorough in examining my hand and explaining my symptoms and what was causing them. I also felt that the questions asked during the online questionnaire process were worded in a much better way than other companies. The Skylight questionnaire provided prompts/asked for specifics whereas others ask more general questions which are difficult for someone who is neurodivergent to answer.

Whilst the initial administrative/communication aspects were less than convincing, that was certainly not the case whenever I was actually on the Spire premises. All the staff on my 2 day stay for the operation were fantastic, and likewise my subsequent post op attendances for wound check, clip removal and physio sessions were of the highest quality.
