Delamere has been a godsend to me. From the first moment I contact them to the final day of my stay, they were warm, professional and caring. Each and every member of staff, from the cleaning teams to the senior leaders has the best interests of guests at heart. Delamere is a caring and friendly community which focuses on the needs of the individual, but in such a way that the programme does not feel over-medicalised. The care and attention given from the nursing team is second to none and nothing is too much trouble. They explain everything to you in a way you can understand and always have time for questions or queries. The guest liaison team are approachable and helpful as well as supportive and kind. The quality of the group session is excellent and well-thought through to support you on you recovery journey. This is exemplified by the outstanding quality of therapy and mentoring I received throughout my time at Delemere. The chefs are excellent and proved a nutritious and balanced diet which is excellent quality. The team as re also friendly and welcoming. What was special about Delemere is the personal touch. Every member of staff knew your name and was happy to chat about any issues you might have at any time of day. I cannot thank the staff enough for the opportunity they have given me to get my life back on track. I wholeheartedly recommend Delemere for anyone needing their expertise and support.

In June I was involved in a cycling accident resulting in serious injuries, one of which was a damaged shoulder and broken collar bone. I was treated initially by NHS but decided to seek a second opinion. I met with Mr Malik at Droitwich Spa Hospital a week after the accident. I liked his manner immediately, he was clear, concise and explained the course of treatment in depth so I knew what was involved. Mr Malik operated within a week, pulling the broken collar bone back together and inserting a 16cm plate. Before the operation he explained the procedure and reassured me all would be fine. It's now 6 months since my accident and I am back fighting fit. I've seen Mr Malik three times during this period and he's conscientious courteous but most of all he understood my needs. I cycle all around the world and despite my age (in my sixties) he quickly realised it was imperative I got back in the saddle which is exactly what he achieved. I would have no hesitation recommending Mr Malik, his skill and manner are exemplary.

Miss Hazlerrigg and her team have been incredibly supportive, reassuring and positive in what had been quite a traumatic horse riding accident. My overall experience was excellent, from the reception staff, being taken to the room, the 1:1 pre-operative discussions with Dr Lowe and Dr Barnard, to the nursing staff (continuity of the nursing staff and Daisy's approach and empathy), the theatre team and the post procedure care. I mentioned to Dr Lowe how impressed I was with the communication between the theatre team, which provided a great deal of confidence. I should also mention how well they communicated with me on a 1:1 basis explaining what they were doing.

My eye sight was on the verge of being under the limit for legal driving so the only way to travel would have been Taxi, Bus,Trains and willing friends and neighbours to give lifts as needed. My wife and I live in higher Harlech which is rather hilly, I am on the disabled register my wife is 91 years old still driving but was putting more and more pressure on her! After I had the required surgery by Mrs Mathews, the following day was a revelation brightness and visibility that I had not seen in years.

Every one I met at the Princess Grace Hospital was most pleasant and attentive from the reception staff to the nursing staff. All of the nurses I met from the initial welcome on the 5th floor on 19/11/25 to both Halima and Fernanda who looked after me during the night and day were all especially kind to me. there were many others but unfortunately I did not write down their names. I think it would be difficult to think of a better place to be a patient.

I had 2 rotator cuff tears, laberal tear along with a couple of other issues. The operation went well and whilst repairing the rotator cuffs further damage was found and also repaired. Recovery has been very pleasing with almost all movement recovered. I suffered little to no pain following surgery and required little pain medication. Mr Patnaik was great and the work he carried out was top quality. I cannot thank him enough. I would happily use him again

This is GP services as they should be. I booked on Sunday afternoon and had a good selection of appointments for Monday morning. I was seen on my appointment time. The fact that the appointments are 20 minutes long allows the GP time to be very thorough and explain in detail your condition. Over four visits this year, I have always seen the same GP, which builds the connection that the excessively busy NHS service no longer provides.
