20/10 I was recommended to Dr Alek by multiple friends, including one who is a doctor herself and trained under him. He came highly, highly recommended and is known as the best in the business — and I can completely understand why. From the moment I walked into the practice, I was warmly greeted by Sam, the practice administrator. She was friendly, welcoming, and made me feel right at home. Thank you, Sam! I’ve seen many aesthetic doctors and practitioners before, and Dr Alek is by far the best I’ve ever experienced. Previously, consultations felt rushed — numbing cream applied, a quick question about what I wanted, and straight into the procedure. With Dr Alek, it was completely different. We began with a thorough consultation where we discussed my concerns, the procedures I was interested in, and everything I’ve previously had done — including where, when, and any medications I’m on. He then did a full facial assessment, looking at proportions, symmetry, and structure. He carefully felt for any existing filler or lumps, explained what they were, and clearly walked me through what we can and can’t do moving forward. Everything was explained in a way that was detailed yet easy to understand. We created a thoughtful plan of action together, and what stood out most was that he never once tried to “sell” me on anything — something I’ve experienced with every other practitioner before. It’s immediately clear that he truly cares about his patients, has an incredible passion for what he does, and an exceptional eye for detail. He really knows his craft. Today we did Botox, and it was genuinely pain-free. He is precise, intentional, and incredibly gentle. As soon as I left, I couldn’t wait to call my husband and tell him how amazing the experience was. I’ve now officially joined my group of friends who cannot recommend Dr Alek highly enough. The OCD nursing team are fantastic at what they do and the therapy team are absolutely brilliant. My 1:1 therapy was outstanding and so valuable to me during my time here. The catering team, the housekeepers, maintenance, reception.... All really friendly and professional. Two things that I want to mention that I have already fed back: 1. It was very disappointing when two team members were allocated to different wards with no transition (Greta-Mae and Carlo). I feel that when we are allowing ourselves as patients to be open and vulnerable and put our trust in people, to then be told they have moved with no transitional period is not very sensitive or fair. 2. I have also fed back about a patient that seems very unwell but does not have 1:1 supervision around the hospital. This person sometimes invades others personal space, says inappropriate and triggering things, has sometimes removed her clothing in the courtyard and I have also seen her with long sticks in her hands in the courtyard. I fed this back to the patient services manager and the board holder who agreed that this was unacceptable. I was told that until discussions have been had she should be on 1:1 care, but then the following day she was once again the courtyard thrashing round the same sticks. I think this is a safeguarding concern. Those two things aside, I have found my impatient care outstanding, I cannot fault the OCD ward team. I feel heard for the first time and have hope for my future now thanks to them. I will never forget what they have done for me.

Having had a recent house move (36th in 45 years of marriage) and joining Health Centre as a new patient I was obliged to redo tests including a blood pressure reading to ensure current medications kept being prescribed uninterrupted. Took my BP reading myself in surgery to save time of having to submit it over several days - horrified when it alarmed the receptionist enough to show a doctor who was in the middle of seeing another patient. Was coasting along in happy belief everything more than fine from previous tests a couple of years ago. I then carefully researched Dr Neil Chapman and found out not only that my blood pressure had increased since I last had a 24 hour holter but ditto my BMI and increasing age doesn't help. Dr Neil Chapman gave me good advice and increased my BP medication which had stayed the same since 2012. I felt confident in his expert knowledge, he is easy to talk to and I would be very happy to see him again in the future if necessary.

I had penis filler and it was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. I had the filler on the Monday and by Wednesday I was in a&e with a very balloon swollen penis and had to have catheter inserted in my penis for 5 days. I was then rushed for emergency surgery the next morning to remove the filler and infection at the injection site. I was in hospital and 5 days and I’m now under a nhs urologist because the urologist at Moorgate cancelled the video call because he said it was unwell. Once they have your money your on your own and the chances of compilations are a lot higher than what they claim. The office I had my filler was not sterilised and moor like someone’s living room. Once if fully recovered I find out if it’s caused and permanent damage I will be looking to start a medical neglect claim against Moorgate. PLEASE if your thinking about having this done seriously I would re consider. Just use an extender/pump.

I had been thinking about the PlexR eyelid lift procedure for a few years, and I’m so glad I found Dr SW Clinics, as if was important to me to be in the experienced hands of medical professionals. Right from my consultation with Dr Abdi I was put at ease, he answered all my questions and explained everything to me, and there was no pressure to go ahead with the procedure. On the day Dr Abdi ensured I was made comfortable throughout the procedure, and during my recovery period my queries were always answered promptly. I am delighted with the results, and can only thank whole-heartedly Dr Abdi and the team for their attentiveness, their professionalism and friendly approach. I’d have no hesitation in recommending the services of Dr Abdi, and would definitely approach them again in the future.

I had a really good stay at Castle Craig, learned a lot and feeling positive about the future. The nurses were great, the therapists life-savers, the food was ok - good portions and good flavour but I was a bit bored of it after 5 weeks. The consultant psychiatrist was exceptional, he really listened and took time to consider my case. He was one of the reasons I came here after meeting him in his Edinburgh clinic, and it has been really the best decision I could have made.

The 12-month or so wait time was out of Ravi’s hands and in fact the timing of the procedure worked well for me in the end due to it being right before the Christmas holidays. Everyone at Spire Wellesley was fab, even if my discharge at the end of the day took longer than expected it wasn’t a problem and I was really pleased with all the care and professionalism provided by everyone.
